From speed and accuracy to taste and freshness of orders, My Thai and Vegan has never disappointed. The My Thai and Vegan website makes ordering a breeze, the menu is expansive, and check-out process simple (especially if you've ordered from them before). I enjoy playing with their menu and have tried a number of offerings. My favs include their tofu basil fried rice, fresh veggie spring rolls, pad see eew, and vegan sesame "chikn" among others. I will say I tried their vegan rangoons and wasn't a fan, but it was just a matter of personal taste and not at all was My Thai and Vegan to blame. I appreciate and enjoy their custom spice levels as well as the number of add-ons/offerings/options their website offers to really make your meal your own. I have never had to wait for my to-go order to be ready and waiting for me when I arrive and pick-up has always been super speedy and simple. Service, although my interactions have been brief, has always been friendly and pleasant. Whenever work has me in the area you can bet I'll be grabbing lunch at some point from My Thai and Vegan. Cute Thai place! Lots of parking on a Sunday because it's part of a plaza. -I got the panang curry and it was AMAZING. I'm a sucker for Thai curry of any kind but not everywhere has the Panang so thank you! I had chicken Panang curry with added tofu and extra vegetables. Curry is pricey with the added options but it's worth it every time. Seating is mostly indoors but they had a few seats in a courtyard. -My friend got a tom yum soup and it was also amazing! Honestly, we were so excited to eat here that we forgot to take pictures of our food, haha! Waitstaff was super friendly and helpful in answering my food allergen questions! My Tom Yum w Shrimp (level 2 spice) was delicious, refreshing, and both gluten free and dairy free! Husband got yellow curry (level 3 spice) w chicken and also loved it! He was craving khao soi and said this scratched the itch perfectly! For the first time in actual years I was able to choose from multiple desserts on the menu (!!!) and got the Crispy Banana w Dairy Free Ice Cream and it was divine! Cannot recommend that enough! I just randomly saw this place one morning while I was getting a smoothie from the place next door and decided to come back on my lunch break. Three things for almost $40 was a lot for me but it was all delicious! The shrimp basil rolls were made with lettuce which I wasn't accustomed to but it was good, the fried coconut tofu had an amazing flavor & the breading was good and the pad Thai was phenomenal, great flavor and fresh ingredients (just wished it was a little more shrimp. Ordered a ton of food from here and wasn't a fan of most of it. The pineapple fried rice was good. Had a small kick of heat in there which made it better. But I also had the coconut tofu, the coconut mango dessert, and Thai tea with coconut milk and didn't enjoy any of them. The Thai tea was too watered down by the time I got it. The only thing I liked about the dessert was the mangos. And the tofu was just very bland. Good service though. Good was ready and I guess it was slow because they were inside sitting by the food. Overall, the food is good and the service is fantastic! This restaurant is located in a shopping center that's easily accessible from a major road with plenty of parking. We ordered enough to feed a small village: tom kha soup, papaya salad, green and yellow curry and drunken noodles. And to wash it all down we had a Thai iced tea. The service here is great, but the food lacks a bit of the Thai soul. The food is prepared and presented well, but I think they use vegan fish sauce and soy sauce which causes some of the flavors to fall flat. With that being said, the saving grace was adding additional chili power and sauce to our dishes. Also, the papaya salad was presented beautifully in an edible bowl. This was my first time here so I will give this place at least one more chance to see if my tastebuds were off that day. The food was good. I loved that they had multiple menus for meat eaters and vegans. The panang curry was my favorite overall. I also had green curry in a combo. Thee service was hit or mess. The workers were very sweet but I ate around 3pm and 3 different servers helped me, even though there was only like 2 tables max at a time eating. It seems like everyone was on break, literally eating on the dining floor with the customers and each decided would help. We were seated quickly and service was quick! Food came out hot! This is their saving grace. I would give this place 3.5. For appetizers we ordered vegan drumsticks which were well cooked and crunchy on the outside but the sauce on the side had little to no flavor. The drumsticks themselves are also pretty bland. It would've been nice if it was coated in some sort of sauce like a chicken wing. We asked for sriracha to dip on the side. We also had the veggie dumplings which were crunchy and had a yummy filling but again the sauce on the side did not compliment the dumpling and we used sriracha. For mains (not pictured) we ordered pad khee mao level 3 with vegan chicken, pineapple red curry with tofu level 3 and pad Thai with tofu level 4. The pad khee mao was about the same as any other pad khee mao I've had, didn't love the vegan chicken, it tasted like a dense mushroom. Would recommend sticking with regular tofu. The pineapple red curry was the best we had! It had great flavor and enough spice. The pad Thai was spicy and tasty. Wow, this place is a hidden gem (minus the bathrooms) to the Thai world. I've been to Thai restaurants all over this country and very few make the cut for authentic, good Thai and several could take lessons on the Thai tea from here. The food was absolutely perfect and it was hard not to spend each meal here while in town. So if you like Thai food and want the real deal, this is the place. Here is the negative: I stalk per bathroom in this place and the bathrooms are not kept up with on a regular basis. Smells and looks like they aren't cleaned every day and haven't been cleaned properly in a while. It's what kept me from coming back while I'm town. The restaurant itself and restrooms are very clean . My hostesses were very attentive. They actually sat at a table adjacent to me. The veggies were fresh and protein left no "after tastes"! I should've amped my #2 spice level up a bit because I didn't feel the burn when I received my meal. This location obviously is hot because it appeared that every 10 minutes or so an order was being picked up. They have a membership program available for 10%off your first ticket purchase then point accumulation thereafter if you decide to join. We tried this new Thai restaurant her in Las Colinas. It replaced Blue Ginger. I was pleasantly surprised to learn all their dishes are vegetarian based. This means that they come up with vegetarian sauces instead of using fish sauce and oyster sauce. I was surprised on how tasty things were without using the original sauces. Of course, you can add meat to the vegetarian dishes. We started with the Tom Yum Soup and Green Papaya Salad. It was excellent but less salty than it original version with fish sauce. The Thai Fried Basil Rice and Pad Thai was not tasty but not too sweet. We do like spicy so level 5 was not enough for us. We will ask for "Thai level" spice next time. It is great to have a new Thai Vegetarian option. We will definitely go back again. read more

I had to order once I saw they had the Vegan Chicken Drumsticks I love so much and they had the best ones, the ones that are on sugar cane! Except they didn't, sigh. Don't get me wrong I still enjoyed and really like vegan drumsticks but they only had the ones on a wooden stick; even though the menu stated sugar cane. I could definitely do without the dipping sauce though, too sweet. I also had the Spicy Udon Noodle with vegetables. It wasn't spicy but did have a little kick so others may consider it spicy. Stopped at this place for dinner before going to a concert in the area. The atmosphere was calm, and it wasn't too busy when we went around 5:30 pm or so. The staff was nice and attentive. We ordered the vegan sampler appetizer, which had these tofu skewers that were so good (just a little hot). For entrees, we tried the vegan birds nest soup and the vegan sesame tofu with white write. It's always nice to have a veg friendly restaurant in town. On a whim, we decided to order to-go from them while we were driving back into the area. We arrived at My Thai a little early and all of the employees were very gracious and made sure our order came out of the kitchen quickly. After reading reviews about how the spice level isn't very high, I decided to go ahead and order a spice level of 4 (it of 5) for my husband's papaya salad. I ordered a 3 spice for my tofu Drunken Noodle, and an appetizer of spring rolls. The spring rolls were tasty but the dipping sauce was very thick and tasted like jarred peanut butter. My Drunken Noodles were very good, with nice chunks of fresh veggies. My husband can eat spicy food like you cannot believe- he grew up eating EXTREMELY spicy food. He took one bite of the salad and had to stop. He had to throw it away it was so spicy. I have a feeling the cooks use spice differently and those reviews I read were made by someone who was light-handed with the chilies. I would definitely recommend ordering a spice level if two and then adding extra chilies as desired. read more
