The inside was clean and the lighting was okay, though we were sat underneath a broken light that kept flashing. We each ordered a noodle dish and shared the Basil Fried Rice. I got the Drunken Noodles, but to be honest, it wasn't the best I've had. The sauce was very light and didn't taste authentic, even though they claim to be. I think the server may have also mixed up the spice levels of our dishes. One of us received the maximum spice level after ordering none, and another got very little spice despite asking for the maximum. Overall, it wasn't really to my taste. Yummy Thai is one of our go-to spots as a family. The staff is always friendly and quick to help. The ambiance is nice, I love their decor. My absolute favorite item on the menu is the Baby Eggrolls. I've visited this place multiple times in the past and always enjoyed the food, which is why this was especially disappointing. About a week ago, I ordered fried rice and found a strand of hair mixed into the food. I immediately contacted the restaurant and was told I would be refunded. Management later asked me to send a photo as proof, which I did. After sending the photo, I never received a response and the refund was never issued, despite following up multiple times over the course of a week. This level of food quality and customer service is unacceptable. Finding hair in food is a health and sanitation issue, and the lack of follow-through afterward makes it even worse. It saddens me to even write this review as I've been a regular customer of Yummy Thai since the day the opened. I've noticed since the pandemic that the food has gone downhill and it isn't as good as it once was, but I still supported them. I even did so twice this week- one delivery and one dine in. When dining in yesterday there were roaches crawling on the booth seats. It was absolutely disgusting. When we reported it, a worker came from the kitchen and killed them with his bare hands and went back to dealing with food. So disgusting and disappointing. I'll never eat here again. There was effort to accommodate us for the poor experience so we got up and walked out instead of ordering. Also spider webs on the wall art as well. I ordered a side of steamed veggies and asked for soy sauce to be delivered. No soy sauce delivered so the veggies were bland. Worst was what I was most looking forward to - the mango with black rice. The rice was white (they did write a note on the container saying they were sorry they are out of black rice - ok.) One of my favorites in the area for Thai food. The restaurant is very vegetarian/vegan friendly, many of the dishes can be made vegetarian, you just need to ask. Portions are huge! Take out curries come in huge 24oz containers. Red, green, panang, all the curries have been delicious. We once dined in and on our next visit, ordered ahead for take out. Food was ready on time. The food at Yummy Thai satisfies, and is pretty good quantity-wise in terms of the prices. For appetizers, we decided to go with a couple of items that are usually a staple on every Thai menu: Thai fish cakes - Shallow fried cakes filled with slightly sweet, but savory filling generously topped with plenty of basil and kafir lime leaves. Came with a sweet sauce that complemented it perfectly. Chicken satay - This was a bit of a let down because I felt they looked like they lacked color, and the meat was a bit on the drier side. Came with the ubiquitous peanut sauce that was thick and perfect for coating the chicken with. For mains, we skipped the usual Thai staples and decided to try an intriguing sounding pork shoulder fried rice. It did not disappoint. The pork was flavorful and well cooked. The dish also had plenty of basil (which is a herb I can't get enough of), so it packed a punch and was top notch. read more

When you ask questions about your food they get agitated and claim they are very busy. Too busy to handle your food properly or service you when you've paid for the food and the service. I'm not gonna lie--I've never actually dined in, it was always to go. However, for delivery and take-out orders, they've been consistently awesome. I've ordered a range of items from here from salad, to soup, to noodles, not the rice though (only bc I've been on a low carb diet and noodles don't tempt me enough). They're super accommodating to making adjustments as needed. They also pack it up neatly so there's never spills, and items that need to be separated for crispiness or flavor maintenance is clearly considered. Once my coworkers and I ordered from here, but separately. When I went to go pick up our orders, there were four little separate orders/bags. I must've looked challenged.
