I had to get a ride there. Car had multiple small dings which a worker documented. I unfortunately didn't photograph them. When I returned the car they claimed the largest dent occurred when I had the car. I believe this was there before I took possession of the vehicle. They refused to show me their documentation of the dings and charged me and my insurance. To me this was a total scam and I will never use this company again. I got the impression that this is business as usual for this company. Never again. Zero stars if I could.

Currently in Florida on Vacation with my boyfriend. So my boyfriend and I called around for a rental car for what seemed like a hour and the places we called were all out of cars. We finally were able to book a rental car "successfully" with budget. We had his cousin drive us 45 mins to Sarasota County, Florida. After the 45 min drive we arrive at budget...only to be told that they are out of cars. Unfortunately, my bf's cousin had dropped us off and had to be at the airport themselves to pick up family. So we were stuck at budget trying to explain to the very rude budget representative the situation...she could care less. She was a horrible Representation of the company by far...poor excuse for a customer service rep..long story short , the nice and very friendly lady at Avis (I believe her name was Becky)was awesome! I called her while at Budget and explained to her that we had to walk about a mile to come pick up the car. She even held the car for us. We rented a convertible mustang in Orlando and quickly realized half way…read morethrough the trip it was just not for us (too small, hard to get in and out of, did not fit all of our bags/suitcases properly) etc. Called this location to ask if we could switch out for another vehicle for the remainder of our trip. Angel said to come on by, we showed up the next day, she remembered us from the call and was quick and very helpful! She got us an SUV, let us even pick what we wanted and adjusted the rental agreement. Great customer service!

Then they send a rental agreement with a $300 deposit added to it that was never mentioned. When I told them that I did not want the car and wouldn't agree to the terms and asked that my $572 charge be credited back to my account they refused and further stated that if I disputed the credit card charge they would charge me an additional $100. All this occurred 2 weeks prior to my scheduled rental date. Hopefully my credit card company will be able to make this unscrupulous company honor my request and credit my card for a vehicle rental terms that were never agreed to and a vehicle that I never used.
