We had confirmed that they would have a van for us or worst case scenario...some larger transit van but when we came to pick up the car, they only had an SUV. We took it because we didn't have another option. We consisted for 4 adults and 2 children in car seats and this SUV only had 3rd row seating. We also needed to fit a double stroller in and when you use the 3rd row you basically get no trunk room. After 24 hours we took it back and went up the road to Budget Car Rental to get a minivan. And surprisingly, they were a very competitive rate as well! I just wish they would have given us the vehicle they promised.

So my boyfriend and I called around for a rental car for what seemed like a hour and the places we called were all out of cars. We finally were able to book a rental car "successfully" with budget. We had his cousin drive us 45 mins to Sarasota County, Florida. After the 45 min drive we arrive at budget...only to be told that they are out of cars. Unfortunately, my bf's cousin had dropped us off and had to be at the airport themselves to pick up family. So we were stuck at budget trying to explain to the very rude budget representative the situation...she could care less. She was a horrible Representation of the company by far...poor excuse for a customer service rep..long story short , the nice and very friendly lady at Avis (I believe her name was Becky)was awesome! I called her while at Budget and explained to her that we had to walk about a mile to come pick up the car. She even held the car for us.
