I stopped by on my way to the beach one morning because I will never pass up a vegan bakery! Overall, I liked the sweet treats I ordered, and I loved the breakfast sandwich I got (sausage & egg, but I had to add hot sauce). The reason for the three stars is because the service was not great at all. We were so excited to find this spot. I can't have gluten or dairy so finding a vegan bakery with so many gluten free options was amazing. It was spacious inside with cute decorations. The staff was polite and patient as we tried to decide what to get because there so many options. We ended up getting the chocolate chip cookie sandwich, cheesecake bar, and cookies and cream cupcake that were both gf and vegan and then my boyfriend go 2 regular vegan cookies . I had to keep confirming that choices were both gf and vegan because I was so excited about the choices. They also had a vegan egg nog ice soft serve that was delicious. It's amazing that there is a bakery committed to serving the vegan and gluten-free community in the 757. I'm not vegan but I do indulge in vegan desserts since I am dairy intolerant. So I was very excited to come here. I did a whole haul!!! My favorites were: chocolate chip cookies, maple braid donut (not pictured), and the oatmeal Whoppie pie. Everything else was good... but the cookies N cream cake was too dry for me. I know it can be hard to make a moist vegan cake. So I can understand why it ended up dry. I felt the same about the chocolate Whoppie pie. The lavender on the lavender donut was very powerful. I'm not a floral girly so it was too much for me. Although, my brother enjoyed it. There are also breakfast sandwiches available. They sell pre-packaged Krave drinks here too. So there's a wide selection for all the vegan friends in town to choose from. Would I come back here? This place is wonderful. This community of alternative eating/ people with celiac/ allergies should be so thankful this exists. It is hard to find places like this for GF eaters specifically. Their GF cinnamon rolls are amazing and I have yet to find a place where they offer them. The only other place was in Jacksonville, FL. Such delectable desserts!! It's a vegan (and gluten-free) eater's dream! They have everything. I'm not vegan, but the desserts were all so eye-catching and tasty. The banana pudding was my favorite! My husband really liked the blueberry muffin. I also liked the carrot cake muffin. The strawberry cake was delicious. It was so light and fluffy. I stopped by My Vegan Sweet Tooth because the reviews looked very promising. When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly young man. The bakery is very cute with a chill vibe. They have donuts, cookies, brownies and more.. I won't lie everything looked delicious.. I tried a sample of the pumpkin frosted cookie and literally almost tossed my cookies... Whoa!! Its sincerely an acquired taste... It was so vegan i couldn't do it. But a true vegan may have enjoyed it. It just wasn't for me. But the idea of the cookie was like a crumbl cookie. Soft baked with frosting. It did look good. I was determined to find something I'd like. So i got the oreo donut. It was big and looked good. When i got to the car and tried it my heart sank a little. It was a very thick texture and was like a weird chewy outside. I dared not throw it away. So i microwaved it at home and it was pretty good. I still couldn't eat the center but i liked the outside and the toppings.. Warming it made a huge difference. I won't bash this place because I'm not vegan so i can only give my opinion on the taste for myself. But i think a true vegan would probably like this place. I guess I'm used to all the bad stuff like eggs, butter, and milk.. But i hope to one day transition to this type of food.. But it won't be today.. Lol. I still recommend trying them. Around the beginning of summer I decided to become vegan. It had been something I wanted to do for awhile but knew I needed to transition slowly so I wouldn't relapse. I've gone to this place since I was really little and I love it. However, I've had multiple pastries that are underbaked. I got the pumpkin donut with the vegan frosting. Finally was able to stop in for a quick treat today and had excellent service. When I arrived no one else was inside so I was able to really take my time and ask lots of questions. All vegan but one side of the case is not gluten-free while the other is. The menu lays it out pretty well on the back wall. Both look great and I love that they offer something for everyone. The soup of the day was broccoli and cheddar and I saw a fish n chips upcoming weekend special so it's more than just baked goods. I saw regular and chocolate cinnamon buns (chocolate?!?), as well as pies, cookies, cupcakes, doughnuts, cream pies, ice cream, muffins, cannolis, etc. They have coffee and tea and a freezer with ice cream and a cooler with take away items. In the end I tried not to go overboard and chose a huge oatmeal cream pie for $6 easily enough for 3-4 people as well as some ginger doggie treats (2 for $2.75) and a gluten-free magic bar (moist as can be) and a cold brew with caramel almond coffee creamer and steevia. The inside was super cute and clean with a few tables set up and the large glass cases with all the goods on display. Service was great. I like a good cherry pie but I am gluten intolerant. My husband got me a GF cherry pie from here a couple of years ago and I asked him to not do it again, but he did because he loves me, married 35 years. I believe that this pie was not only GF but also vegan, no butter and no eggs. The crust can't be cut with a knife. The cherries are canned pie filling. I cannot rave about this bakery enough, they're hands down the best. They have so much variety and they always have something new to try. I love their cup cakes but their cinnamon rolls are to die for. On Saturdays they have the best chicken sandwiches (vegan). You just have to be early because they sell out fast. They're that good.
