The food was not that good. Chili had zero juice, was like eating seasoned ground beef . My shrimp tacos consisted on a few canned mango pieces, pickled jalapeños, few strands of cabbage. The flour tortilla was stale and hard. Broccoli and cheese was like eating cheese soup with huge chunks on broccoli... no knives given. Seems like it's all microwaved as it's unreal piping hot. This place needs Bar Rescue! Pool tables... nice addition and plenty of them. My suggestion is to pare down that menu and fix what food you serve...good. read more

I thought this place going to be a vibe. Open till 2am in the middle of the week. We ubered here because it was a long day and we were ready for stiff drinks and music. We were told they were closing at 1am so we had less than an hour. Still trying to make the best out of it we played music on the touchtunes and ordered drinks and food. Drinks were decent, not very strong, and food was typical bar food. At approximately 1230 they said last call. At 1245 they cut the music in the middle of a song I paid for with one more in the que. If you want to go play pool, obviously this is the place to go. It's a pretty clean location that doesn't smell like a dirty bathroom. You walk in and you have tables and look on your right and there's plenty of pool tables to pick from. There is a pretty large bar that during the time we were there had three bartenders. I used the restroom while my husband and his friend went up to the bar and apparently there was a bit of an issue with the snarky bartender. I'm not sure why there would be an issue with ordering the drinks. Two vodka lemonades is pretty basic. They both found those drinks disgusting. Ordering drinks the rest of the time we were there was like pulling teeth. if you can't pull one out you try to go to another one and then another one and yet you still can't get anywhere. That was our experience with these bartenders. I went up there and asked the female bartender for two Bacardi Cokes. She disappeared to the other side of the bar and started serving other people. She never made our drinks. Then the snarky bartender came up to me and I asked him for the same two drinks. He said OK give me a minute..... I'm standing up there for 10 minutes and he's literally just serving everybody else. He never served me the two drinks. The guys at the bar next to me, started making comments about how horrible the bartenders are, and they started to yell at the bartender to get their attention. Very nice gentleman. Another bartender took my exact same order and he made me two Bacardi Cokes served in beer glasses. One shot of Bacardi and way too much coke served in a beer glass. From a previous bartender this is extremely incorrect. The correct way to handle it is, asking if you wanted one shot or two shots And would you like it in a tall or short glass? If you don't ask automatically, you should have it in a short glass with one shot of Bacardi and a couple of shots of Coke from your spray gun. I'm also going to take a wild guess that they have not cleaned the spraygun in a very long time because the quality of sodas that were coming out of it were pretty bad. Clean your bar correctly. I'm guessing nobody really gives a shit. We came here to play pool, order quite a few drinks because these two men can handle a there liquor and just hang out on this Thanksgiving weekend. It wasn't even busy. The lack of quality gives you my three star review because of how horrible all three of your bartenders were. I should've minus a star per bartender. I have never seen multiple bartenders just completely spaced out and forget that you even placed an order with them... at the same bar. Shortly after the 1st song started, they turned the volume down so low I couldn't hear it. Wasted 6 credits. Tables are worn out, too. Food and service are not bad. I appreciate this business being open on Christmas but unfortunately they opened being short staffed. The bar tender came to our table to let us know what was going on and we told her we understood and didn't mind waiting for our food. We placed our order after getting drinks and the wait began . We played ski ball and some motorcycle rides and played games at the table and I think after 30 closer to 40min we got our food the meatloaf was hot and delicious the soup was cold which was unfortunate and so were the wings we ordered but by that time we definitely weren't waiting again because people already came in to eat. We told her what was going on and she apologized and said she wish she could helped but we didn't want to bother we still paid and gave her a nice tip for working on Christmas Day but this visit wasn't too great. We stopped in here and got some food to go on a Friday, early evening. We were greeted by friendly and courteous staff who made us feel right at home! We tried a wrap, a Reuben (amazing), and a Caesar salad. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back to eat, to play pool and try some of the many beers they have on tap. read more

Best of all, imo, is a young lady named April who serves at the bar who is THE BEST! I've worked in hospitality and I see that she is the total package. This place used to be so much better. Pool tables, golden tee, decent food, and good beer selection. They seem to have a really hard time keeping bartenders and it's unfortunate as their service has become awful. We used to visit this place 2-3 times a week to have drinks and have pretty much stopped going over the last month or 2. Last time we were there we tried to put an order in for some wings around 9 pm on a Saturday night. We were told the kitchen was short staffed and busy and to hold off for a little bit. No big deal. We then watched the same bartender take 4-5 food orders over the next 45 minutes but never asked if we wanted to order. Most places will take your order but warn you it may take longer but not refuse your order. It also makes little sense to have customers wait for 10 minutes for a beer or drink because the bartender is busy vaping, eating, counting cash tips, or talking to their friends at the bar. Dropped this place from the local rotation and will go elsewhere for now. May give it one more shot but really disappointed the last 4-5 months . This place would really benefit from a manager or the owner's presence. read more

Once we finally placed an order it was smooth sailing from there. Trying to place an order was a headache. Starting with my error. I was trying to order takeout from their Garner location but kept reaching their Fuquay location. Turns out their Garner location is closed, which is why I was connecting with their other location. Rather than finding a new restaurant and deciding on what we wanted, I decided to place an order at their Fuquay restaurant. I had to call them numerous times to place an order. They would not pick up for a while (even though I had recently talked with them) or the call would disconnect. Finally I placed an order and drove to pick it up. The inside is spacious and offers ample seating and billiard tables. The employees at the bar were friendly and retrieved my order. We ordered a philly cheesesteak, sidewinder fries, BLT, German bowl over home style potatoes (no cheese extra sauerkraut), and a molten lava cake. The food was okay. I ordered the German bowl and liked the concept but it had way too much spicy mustard. I'm a fan of spicy mustard but not when it covers the entire dish and all the other flavors. We would order from here again, but would choose different entrees. read more

I came here with my cousin to play pool and have some beer. The beer selection was OK and tables were available. The service was friendly and the beers came quickly. Although tables were available, there was a shortage of sticks. We were lucky enough to get two as the people that grabbed that last available table had to share one stick. The coolest thing that happened was that were were planning on summoning and Uber back to my cousin's house but there was a gentleman in the parking lot offing people rides home for tips so people don't drink and drive. My cousin opted for this ride since the driver was already there. I can't review this place for food but three stars for the beer selection and pool sticks. read more

We stopped in this local place for lunch one day. We found the food quite good and thought it was a good value. We'd definitely go back.

Ordered door dash, but this is not the drivers fault (well partially), more on the kitchens part. Order came out wrong, the lunch special was 2 hotdogs plus a side and a drink, but came with only 1 hotdog and no drink. Ordered 2 salads, buffalo chicken and fiesta salad. Both came drenched in dressing, so I would recommend asking for the dressing on the side (like a normal restaurant would do) ask well as the dry ingredients like the croutons and tortilla strips OTS, but live and learn I guess. I also requested that my buffalo chx salad have no blue cheese crumbles but here I am picking out an extraordinary amount of crumbles (bleh) lol. Not mad, I would just like to enjoy my lunch that I paid almost $40 for. I did call the restaurant and they're not refunding me, but they're delivering the rest of my order, which in my opinion, is too much work. I would rather have it refunded and be the end of it, but I understand that some people can be dishonest, so I get it. Some advice I would give is be extremely specific when ordering online here. Visited the Triple Barrel Tavern last night with my wife and friends and our experience was wonderful. Once we self-seated.....we were almost immediately greeted and our drink orders were taken. J.D.was simply wonderful and could not have given any better service. I ordered the country fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and a side salad. The others in our party all ordered Reuben sandwiches and side salads or crinkle-cut fries. All three side salads were just wonderful....just as fresh as you could ask for. My wife asked for her fries to be extra-crispy......but they were not....Judy a slight miss on that count. The Reuben sandwiches were delicious according to the three that ored red them. My two pork chops were just a bit over-cooked....but were still delicious.....paired with fantastic home made mashed potatoes. Even though we visited Triple Barrel for the first time because of a coupon.....we will definitely return to this restaurant/tavern to try more menu items. Wanting a local date night my hubs and I decided to play darts at Waitress was REAL and she made me smile but she could not erase the overdone "loaded" fries with burned bacon and an embarrassingly tiny amount of cheese that was stuck to the wax paper. The wings had some yummy sauce but they were undercooked. One piece was very pink. I did not want to risk food poisoning so I sent the wings back but ate the dry fries. I ate here on a Tuesday evening with one other person for dinner. These are my thoughts and observations. - They can easily handle large parties. - It's the only place I know of in Fuquay where you can play pool and darts. - The bathrooms are ghetto. There were random holes in the walls and trash on the floor. - The furniture feels cheap and some of booth seats are ripped. - There's a lot of variety in the menu. - We waited 20 minutes for our meal. That's not too bad. - I noticed that management lets the wait staff eat behind the bar. - We were ignored by the wait staff after our food arrived. - My burger and pasta salad was pretty good, but the coleslaw clearly had been sitting out and was inedible. Overall, they make a decent burger but I wasn't into the dingy interior and terrible service. If you're interested in playing pool with friends I'd stop buy. read more

About 10 of us use to go to Triple Barrel Tavern every Thursday night for music bingo. We'd eat dinner, grab a few beers, and have a great time. This Saturday we went in with about 30 people after a birthday party. One server was waiting on us, like lost his cool, and became the worst person you'd want serving you! I ordered my food before several people in the bar and waited 45 minutes to get a basic plate of nachos. When I asked to speak to the manager, the manager left the bar and went to hide in the kitchen. Horrible service and even worse management. If you can't face a disgruntled customer then you're in the wrong business... The food was never great but okay. Service was always good so we enjoyed the experience. We will never go back under this management and new ownership! read more
