I sent them a srs module from a 2023 mazda cx-5. The module came back dead, I tried to install it on two different cars 2022 CX-5 and 2023 CX-5. The module did not show signs of life on either car. They refused to refund me for the purchase of a new module, although I sent them two detailed videos with diagnostics of this module on 2 different cars. In total, I spent $ 480 to buy a new module and $ 250 on the services of an electrician for programming. They also refused to pay for a refund for sending this module back and forth. I cannot recommend this company. The price for a seat belt repair was double the estimate. I had no problem paying but did want a detailed explanation. I asked a phone rep to speak to someone who could explain why. On 3 occasions, she told me either a tech or a tech supervisor would contact me, weeks later...crickets. Now I can't even get a hold of her. To make matters worse, the seat belt doesn't lock when quickly pulled. Serious safety issue. At this point, I can't determine if this company is shady or incompetent in their communications (and possibly workmanship). Buyer beware. read more

to start, this company is horrible with customer service. I sent out a package and purchased insurance. long story short my package was lost through ups, my airbags redirected me to carrier. From there I was sent back to my airbags to make a claim. They then redirect me to some company named "upfix" in Georgia. These guys tried to get me to accept 100$ as their "payout" I then showed proof of insurance payment I made with my airbags and they"appealed it" 3 months later after constant emails every few weeks I get a response saying it was denied. They've been milking the hell out of him. Update with this company : After receiving and installing the SRS module, I encountered unexpected issues. The steering wheel, brake, and tire pressure lights, came on. ( surprise ! 'They weren't like that before ')This not only wasted two weeks of my time but also affected my scheduled appointment and undermined my trust in the company. I initially chose them based on a tutorial video, but the experience has been disappointing. I'm now seeking a refund and reimbursement for the mechanic expenses incurred due to their shortcomings. Also mention the stress that I've had with the customer service, a terrible experience. And today, this morning, they didn't pick up my phone because they saw my number. I sent my BCU (Body Control Unit) to Upfix for repair pertaining to a 2004 Ford Freestar. The whole experience was positive and refreshing. From the initial tracking of my unit to providing an update on repair status. Upon return of the BCU, customer service followed up to ensure I was satisfied. I would recommend their service to anyone. Class act and great company to do business with. Highly recommend and I would send any circuit board, etc. that needs repair to Upfix. It is a way better solution and experience than trying to locate a used part. And, way more economical than trying to buy a new part. Customer service and follow-through was exceptional! I sent them my airbag computer and the supposedly reset it. It came back and there is still a hard code in it. They are telling me to recalibrate other sensors and have had it confirmed from two collision shops that the recalibration has not fixed the code. The company was insistent that they provided the service of resetting. Do not waste your money. read more

Another company advised my airbag module could not be cleared. I wanted to avoid wasting time and shipping charges. So I contacted myairbags and asked if they could clear the airbag module for my specific make, model and year. The response was an unequivocal YES. I wasted over a week and $37, only to be told they couldn't reset it. I called and asked for an explanation and ended up speaking to some who was probably located in the Philippines who justified wasting my time and money and suggested I call their tech support who don't answer. Just use a vendor with good feedback on ebay. You'll save money on essentially the same service but in my experience, most of them will tell you straight if it can or can't be done. read more

This is related to their "UpFix" business. I have an older (2001) Landice treadmill that stopped working. I got an error code that indicated the motor control board was bad. Because of the age, I needed to get authorization from UpFix for a custom repair. This was a complete clusterf**k. I never got a response, but when I called I was told it had been approved and I was in the system, they just hadn't bothered to tell me. I should have figured it out then. But I sent the board which they claimed they reconditioned and requested payment in a matter of hours. I paid, they returned it, and it still didn't work. Long story short, I called an authorized Landice tech, who came and determined that motor control board was my problem. They replaced the board and everything worked fine. So why did I give UpFix $200. Apparently because I'm a gullible idiot. Don't repeat my mistake. read more

STAY AWAY!! REALLY BAD!! ZERO-STAR REVIEW!! HORRIBLE X 10!! BUYER BEWARE!! TERRIBLE OR NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I wish to God I would have read the scathing reviews on various websites before I had sent my Instrument Cluster Panel in to be repaired by UpFix--more like Up$#!T creek! or Oh,$#!T! This UpFix outfit's owner/CEO appears to be some guy by the name of Vitaly Sandyrev whose company is based out of Buford, Georgia, and is also apparently affiliated with MyAirbags. A total Nightmare Funhouse $#!T-Show with UpFix/MyAirbags. On April 29, 2024, I sent UpFix my instrument panel to have the temperature gauge repaired. I was notified via email that the repair was completed on May 13, 2024. On or about that same day, several different visa card payment attempts were made with two different cards for the total billed amount of $169.99, both online and via phone with UpFix's/MyAirbags representatives. Unfortunately, UpFix's/MyAirbags payment system refused payment every single time even though funds were, and still are, available. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my visa card since I was able to use it regularly without any problem--up until then, that is. May 13, 2024, is the date when all the "FUN" started. For about a week, I dealt with various different UpFix/MyAirbags account representatives via mostly emails back-and-forth in vain, attempting to make payment, but to no avail. I was told that the only other form of payment that UpFix was willing to accept was PayPal, which I explained to them I do not have, or suggested that I go look for someone else with another bankcard to make payment, which I also explained I did not know of any such person who would be willing to do that, either. I told them that the only two forms of payment available to me are my visa card or my sending them a money order. They remained intransigent and said "We're sorry, but the decision was made by 'someone' at the highest levels of management, and that is our company payment policy, so there is nothing further we can do...Next!" I asked to be put in touch with this so called 'someone' or the owner of the company, Mr. Sandyrev, but my request was repeatedly denied, but later I discovered it was, in fact, Sandyrev himself, making the decisions. UpFix/MyAirbags refuses to answer any other questions I have other than with "We're sorry, that is our company policy." I feel that UpFix/MyAirbags is being extremely unreasonable, evasive and difficult to deal with and involved in highly questionable business practices, to say the least. Without that electronic panel, my vehicle remains totally inoperable for well over a month, and this UpFix racket-of-a-company couldn't care less! Beyond frustrated at this point getting nowhere very fast with their "customer service," on May 20, 2024, I sent a money order (guaranteed funds) for the full amount made payable to UpFix. They confirmed receipt of the money order, but informed me that they would be returning the money order back to me and said that I should seek a refund from the issuer. Beyond unbelievable! What legitimate business is unwilling to accept a money order payment with guaranteed funds which can easily be deposited into any company bank account?!! I suspect foul play and fear that the panel, with an estimated value somewhere between $600.00 and $850.00, could very easily be sold for "non-payment" for much more than UpFix would receive from the cost of the repair itself. Hmm. HAVE YOU BEEN SCREWED BY THIS COMPANY, TOO? If so, it is best to file WRITTEN Complaints with the Consumer Protection Division of the Georgia State Attorney General's Office, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Better Business Bureau like I did. I am also in the process of seeking legal counsel. If and when I ever do recover my instrument panel--which I now consider stolen property--from UpFix/MyAirbags, I have no doubt that the panel will more than likely either have been somehow tampered with or disabled out of sheer spite. I would not put anything past this atrocious UpFix/MyAirbags and their "company policy." Hopefully, I have helped other people avoid the same mistake and fate that I have suffered by sharing my story. You have been warned. read more

My front seatbelt locked during an accident and the airbag light turned on. The body shop was charging $1400 to replace my entire seatbelt assembly, airbag SRS module, and impact sensors which they said *had* to be done with new OEM parts. Problem is the accident happened in Dec 2021, and this seatbelt has been on backorder for 3 months, so I was driving around with a locked seatbelt and airbags that probably would not deploy in the event of an accident. MyAirbags saved me over $1000 and finally gave me back my safe vehicle! I am not car-savvy, so I had my local mechanic remove the seatbelt pretensioner assembly and SRS module to send out to MyAirbags. They kept me updated on their progress every step of the way. Once my mechanic reinstalled the repaired seatbelt and SRS module... Voila! The seatbelt retracts and the airbag light is finally gone! I was a bit miffed that MyAirbags advised me to send in the belt buckle and then tacked on an extra $40 charge to "bench test" it after the work was done (I think the pricing should be transparent at the point of purchase). There is a cheaper competitor out there. BUT I can't complain too much because they really did help me out of a jam. I would definitely do business with them again! read more

I don't usually like to give bad ratings on companies, but this place is pretty bad. Sent in an airbag computer to get fixed. On their website you can choose to use their mailing process to send the parts to them or mail yourself. I chose to mail myself as it was a couple days quicker. They 'guarantee' 1 day turnaround. I waited a couple days after they received the parts and sent an email and called. It took them a day to find my parts and then another 2 days to fix them. When it came time to pay, their invoice included the cost of shipping to them. I already had paid using my own mail. I called and emailed them several times. They don't respond to email and put me on hold when I call in. Won't use these jokers again. read more

Had a dash cluster fixed, less than a year later the dash lights go back to the original problem. Contacted this company, operator emailed and said that a technician would reach out to me in 24-48 hours. Nothing of that sort ever happened. This is now after 2 weeks. We are going on week three. If you expect this company to honor their 1 year warranty, good luck getting them to work or respond to you. A warranty is only as good as the company that is willing to honor it. Sent my driver side seatbelt and my airbag module to get repaired shipping was expensive but hey you need it to be done got the items back plugged it in the right way and all my indicators lit up like a Christmas tree tire pressure ,ABS ,airbag light, check engine, traction control light Emergency brake light. I disconnected the seat belt and module and all the Indicators came off except the airbag light which was already on before the first install. Seatbelt Retract slow module looks like it hasn't been reset and when I connect the seatbelt and the module Are the indicator lights come on call customer care multiple times they said they can't do nothing about that. Buyer beware you pay more for shipping then the actual service and once you get the service done you still would have the airbag light on or multiple indicator lights on never again read more

I finally got my instrument gauge cluster back from myairbags and now the oil pressure gauge doesn't move at all. I called, they refunded most of my money and said if I were to buy another one someplace else they would make an odometer correction free of charge and reluctantly said they would upgrade the lighting. Well I did buy another one and it works perfectly, One must assume from this that they goofed something up inside my original and did not want to fix it, maybe too expensive?? Prior to shipping I called explained problem with cluster On my 2007 Escalade and was told they can totally rebuild it with all new parts. Sent gauge cluster in they received and payment made on Sept. 28th was told and as advertised on website they have a 24Hr turn around for shipping back to me. After 48hrs no email or phone call. I then called on Sept. 30th in the morning. Was told that it would be shipped out this afternoon. By 4pm still no email or phone call saying it was shipped. I called and No answer still had 1 hour before there closing for the day. After 3 more tries I gave up. Waited 3 days later and called to find out when part will be shipped back. Was told it would go out today, but was not repairable. What the @$&*! I was told you could totally rebuild this and it would be returned to me in 24hrs now after almost 6 days you tell me you have not done anything, and it can't be repaired? Anything can be repaired, they just did not want to do for there advertised price. I Guest they were looking for a simple job. BEWARE!! Not Professional or Honest. Just hope I receive my actually part back that I sent. And they don't do a bait and switch. They seem very fishy. Oh and I'm out of $62 for shipping this to them and paying for my return shipping. Up until now I have always had good experiences with them but no longer. I paid twice to have the same unit reset because I waited to long the first time to send module back because I assumed they fixed it the first time and they said oh it has to be something else so I said okay I will pay again and guess what ? They FAILED AGAIN to fix it. The manager is a total jerk and refused to refund me anything so I'm taking my business elsewhere as they are unethical and don't know what they are doing. My airbag and seatbelts was done in timely matter, job well done. I scored you poorly because the young lady was extremely rude to me for no reason at all. When I arrived to turn in my module and seatbelts she walked up to counter, looked at the other guy who came in after me and said "did he cut in front of you?". After the gentleman said no, she proceeded to give me the "fuck you look" while completing the transaction. I truly did not understand what I did to deserve such behavior. I received the exact same reception when I arrived to pick up the items (from the same person). I think your company provides a very needed service, but having the wrong individual up front can completely sour a customer's experience as it did mine. Sent them an ABS module to be repaired. Paid the fee and they sent my repaired part to someone else. Was told they could not issue a refund for the repair fee until they got the part back. Told them I would get my CC company to help me. They did refund the fee, but I am still out an ABS module which is very hard to find. Ford said they might be able to find me one for $990.00. For being so far away from us, the turn around time is usually less than a week. Price point is spot on. You pay a fraction of what a new air bag module runs you at the dealer. If you're having issues with clearing a code or understanding how your system works, these guys will point you in the right direction. Will continue to use in the future. read more

My Airbags fixed my Fuel Injection Control Module on my 2006 F250 Diesel, and it works perfectly. Excellent Customer Service, Superior Communication, and the FICM is refurbished to new again.
