I've just started getting eyelash extensions and I love them. Nancy does my lashes and she does an excellent job. She's very nice and she made my lashes look exactly like I wanted them to look. As "natural" as fake eyelashes can look haha. I've never had any bad experiences with the lashes being glued to my skin and they never hurt when my real lashes grow. I have referred so many people here because I have had great service, but the last few times the quality has tanked. One of the technicians (who wasn't even working on me) literally told me that the way I wanted my nails shaped was "ugly". I'm sorry, but the way the technician working on my nails shaped them was actually ugly and wasn't what I wanted. I can do a better job at home, and from now on I will. I had to leave with half finished nails because the way they treated me was so appalling. $25 lesson not to go here again. Sucks for them, too. I don't live in Seattle but came in town for my sisters wedding and needed a mani pedi. I got a gel mani and wanted to see how several of the colors looked on my nails before making a decision. The girl was very irritated that I didn't just pick one and get on with it. Other than that they were fine as far as attitude. However, she didn't apply the polish all the way to the cuticle but left a large gap which didn't look great and looked even worse when my nails grew out a bit in the coming days. The polish started lifting up within 3 days. I wouldn't recommend this place. My pedi was fine. It was regular polish. read more

Eyebrow waxing and pedi was ok, mani was horrible and when I mentioned this to the manager I was not offered anything in return. When I say horrible I mean my nails had been pretty long so I'd been excited about how good they were going to look, now they are short with ragged/scalloped edges, weirdly overtrimmed sides and painfully overtrimmed cuticles (including one spot where I bled and she put that painful sterilizing liquid on it). Lash Extensions: I was worried a bit because Myano's prices were so much less than other shops around town. I shouldn't have worried. They are fantastic. If you go, ask for Jennifer. She was very good and so gentle that I fell asleep during the session. I did the "natural" look and it was perfect. I haven't had to wear mascara for 3 weeks and I look nearly "done" when I get out of the shower. Highly recommend. Got my pedicure today after a long day at work...got there...they didn't know where to sit me then the water was cold and the lady who was trying to help..I said trying...lol didn't ask if the water was cold.. So, my pedicure was good but the lady kept looking at her watch....it wasn't even near closing time... then after had my eyebrows done... oh hell no... the other lady was such in a hurry to do my eyebrows....it wasn't even worth the freaking $15. My girlfriends and I were looking for a quick place to get our nails done on a Saturday afternoon. We wandered into Myano and were instantly welcomed. I typically only go for a spa pedi, but my cuticles were in pretty bad shape so I opted for a gel manicure as well. 4 weeks later and my nails are still looking great! For being a random walk-in find, I was quite pleased with both the service and the quality of the work. Unfortunately I do not live nearby or I would make it my go to nail place. I have been to Myano a total of three (3) times and I have not been dissapointed once. The place is beautifully decorated and designed to relax you while you are getting your services done. The place is clean and each client gets their own file and pumice stone instead of having one for everyone. The most special thing about Myano is the kindness of the staff, they really go out of their way to make sure that you are completely happy with your mani/pedi or what ever service you are in there for. My girlfriends hosted my bridal shower in the VIP room and it was beyond my expectations!! The room has 10 chairs and is upstairs and completey isolated from the rest of the nail salon. They allowed us to bring in food and alcoholic beverages and didn't rush us to leave once we were done with our pedicures. (were were in there from 12-4:30) We had 13 ladies in our group and the salon made sure they were staffed with enough workers to accomodate us. I think it is one of the best pedicures I've had, and I even got a design painted on my big toes and it was perfect! I was impressed with the salon the minute I walked in. It is very clean, decorated very nice and everyone that helped us made the whole day relaxing and memorable. We were all impressed and have already decided we will have to go back again! I went here for an impromptu pedicure on a Friday afternoon and was seated quickly. This place is huge, with 2 floors, and much nicer looking than your average nail salon. I was offered a complimentary drink (I opted for an oolong tea) and a choice of body scrub and lotion. I didn't ask for any extras since I didn't really feel like splurging. I remember selecting a certain body scrub and my pedicurist checked something else on the card/menu. I didn't think it was a big deal (probably a language barrier) so I didn't say anything. The leg massage/scrub was pretty relaxing, until she started pounding my shins with her fist, and it hurt. I don't know why I didn't say anything; I guess I'm just too shy or I was probably too shocked to say something. My polish chipped that same night.
