I simply did not feel welcomed, and the entire visit felt rushed from beginning to end. I was charged two separate fees during my initial visit because I had an exam for both contacts and glasses, even though I believed these services were covered by my insurance. When I later called to make a simple adjustment/addition to my prescription, I was told I needed to come back for another eye exam--and another fee--even though I had been seen less than four months ago. To make matters worse, the representative I spoke with over the phone quoted me the wrong cost for the exam, which added even more frustration and confusion to an already disappointing experience. I've already called to express my concerns and file a complaint, but nothing was done to resolve the issue. Now I'm being charged again for an eye exam within four months of my previous appointment. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service, communication, pricing information, and way this entire situation has been handled. I expected much better from an eye care provider and will not be returning.

I don't need same day, same week appointments but need an office that can accommodate an appointment within the next month. My contact lenses fitting last year was to the point of comical. After each trial, I would have to wait 1-2 weeks for the doctor to be available to respond to a message and prescribe a different option. This lead to my fitting lasting nearly two months, which I find to be unacceptable.

She is also very time efficient without rushing the eye exam process at all, which has typically been the case for me with other doctors that want to get you in and out. I got set with doctor Maria Soto, when she came in she seemed a little stressed when I first met her. I was a little concerned something was wrong so was genuinely asking her if she was okay. She said she was fine and I dropped it, after that we seemed to be alright. I had questions about payments and she directed me to the front desk, the ladies there were really nice and we sparked up a decent conversation as well! When I came back to the examination room she said she was offended by me, I was confused by this since I never said anything or implied anything offensive. I asked her what she meant and she said how I asked how she was doing "pissed her off" I was genuinely shocked that me asking how she was doing had made her upset. When I was telling her I was just trying to be an accommodating client and trying to be helpful she said I was turning the tables against her and that she did not need any talking and to forget it. She said she would carry on with the exam, but at this point I had enough. We went into an argument about it in the lobby and in front of my mother, with her also being appalled by Maria Soto's reactions. We are not coming back here ever again and if you do get Soto, do not try talking with her or get personal with her. She gets easily offended and will make you regret trying to making small talk or asking even genuine questions.

Made it to the new 2:00 appointment time 5 minutes early, receptionist was snippy. They took me back to the exam room and did some preliminary testing, that girl was super nice, but sat in the room until 2:53 waiting for the optometrist, so I left. They send you a text warning about not being late to your appointment, I get it. But do NOT let a client sit in a room waiting for 50ish minutes or even 30 minutes.
