I had a great visit and experience while there however I developed pink eye symptoms the day after the appointment and had full blown conjunctivitis within 2 days. Luckily I was able to start on antibiotic eye drops from my pcp. Looking back, only one tech cleaned one piece of equipment while I was there before using it on me. I am not sure they are cleaning properly between patients, it can't be a coincidence that I got an eye infection after visiting when I haven't had one since I was a child. read more

My husband went into this location today to ask for a trial pair of contacts due to the fact that we order a 3 month supply and about 6-8 pairs were defected. So he just asked for a pair of trials, then he was going to contact the location where he originally ordered the contacts from. Which he is out of town so that is why he couldn't just go to the original location. Cassandra the eye contact specialist there was extremely rude and unprofessional to him. My Eyedr should really train their employees on how to be professional and polite. read more

Agree with the previous reviews. They really need to find a whole new front desk staff. They are very rude and dry. Not sure if they are not happy working there or just plain rude. No smile, no greeting, no comfort zone at all. Went in and wanted to walk back out. But I just assumed that it was due to having an early appointment. But when I went back to get glasses. The same people with the same RBF was still dry and non responsive. Doctors!!!! Please find a better greeting crew. read more

This place is beyond awful! The front office staff and office manager is rude. The office manager allows her female employee/friend to speak to customers as if they are nothing and they have no customer service skills. It takes forever to receive orders and nobody calls you with updates. This office used to be amazing. Save your money for a place that appreciates your business! read more

I selected a frame for my pair of glasses before 2021 ended to comply with my vision insurance. I had to wait about ten days for the glasses to be ready but I had my "old" glasses. The day I picked up my new glasses every chair was full, the receptionist gave me my new glasses and I tried them on right there at the front counter. They looked fine so I left. Once I started driving away I noticed right away something was not right with my left lens. A blurry line 3/4 of the way in the lens, I changed glasses to my old glasses and the blurriness went away. When I returned to My Eye Doctor, McDonough, GA I was kept waiting what seemed 25 minutes, I explained my issue and my glasses were taken in the back for another 25 minutes. When they finally came back I was told they couldn't see anything and there was nothing they could do. When I asked what they meant they couldn't see anything I was told they have a special light. Imagine my shock that they offered nothing despite having a satisfaction guarantee. No manager no supervisor. I left with my "Old" glasses and my defective new glasses. Customer Service was void in my case. I really expected them to remake the left lens but instead I was told to go back and have another eye exam that possibly something had changed but I said my "old" glasses I see just fine. Totally unsatisfied with My Eye Doctor, McDonough, Georgia and I would suggest the staff be trained in customer service. read more

I've never had a location so easily blow a sale and lose a patient. I'll admit I'm in a highly unusual predicament. I called and was informed I'll need to speak to the general manager. I left my information and waited. I called again and the general manager was at lunch. I again left all my information because they apparently didn't have it from the previous call. I still have not heard back from anyone and I will not continue to call them and beg for them to call me back. The only reason I called here was because the predicament involved someone who went here and is a patient of this location. In the very limited interactions I've had with this office I can promise you they over promise and under deliver because I can't even get them to call me back. I went to another optometrist and had everything taken care of within a day. Go to any other optometrist. If they even respond to this review they will have spent more time and energy dealing with this review than they have spent communicating to me previously. read more

The doctors are great! But the front desk and the assistants can be rude. Don't bother talking to the officer manager Tatiana, because she will take their side. I decided to try them again because if you can get past the attitudes, the doctors are great. Tatiana called to let me know that Cassandra was still there and she has been Dr. Brenda's assistant from when she had her own practice. She didn't apologize for my experience or to let me know she spoke with her assistant. You lost a loyal customer. It has changed alot since they changed their name. read more

I used to rave about this place back when it was McDonough Family Eye Care. The doctors here are very caring and thorough. They never rush you and always answer whatever questions you have. Due to COVID-19 I was not able to go inside the store to order my daughter's contacts. I had to place an order over the phone last month. Today I went in to order my daughter's glasses only to find out that the lady who ordered my daughter's contacts used my eye insurance. She used my insurance without mentioning it and without my permission. Because of her actions my daughter has no insurance to use towards her glasses. I am having a really hard time understanding how and why a business would use my insurance without my permission and not even mention it to me! The cost of contacts out of pocket is about $100. The cost of my daughter's glasses out of pocket is at least $300. I always use my insurance for her glasses. This is unethical and completely unacceptable!!! read more
