The work was done in a timely fashion-with frequent requests for payment-Cash only- at every step. The house looks great-on the outside! I was informed after the work was already underway that they wouldn't be doing the inside of windows. They also used windows not Energy Star rated for MA. So the interior of my house is a mess with unfinished windows- multiple plaster walls crumbling! They also replaced only two of the three outside lamps that were agreed upon-placed the storm doors back incorrectly and put molding over a couple of doors that was never requested. There was never a final walk through- and there were three screens placed which already had holes in them. My ignorance is the reason for most of these issues-I assumed the windows would have correct energy rating-I never knew that windows could be unfinished when you pay for replacement windows. I also got the impression that the final walk through by the Contractor would also finalize some of the "slush fund" money that was made available for any unexpected expenses. I did mention the defective screens and the missing lamp to site supervisor 'Luis". The owner of company never came out to check on work-Oh-just one more thing-the dumpster that I had to pay for? his guys brought trash from other work sites to fill it up! This all occurred summer 2024-I have been too occupied with medical issues to take any action on this -but really?! I just want others to be more cautious!

While it was merely a galley kitchen in a Brookline condo, Anna envisioned a design that made it much more functional, timeless, and chic. Hilary Farr would be impressed. Ryaan and team are highly detail oriented. There was one incident where there was a problem with some of the lighting materials. While some contractors would have taken a shortcut and simply have installed the lighting as is, Ryaan and his electrician Chris, who was a perfectionist, made sure that the vendor was held accountable, and they refused to install the product until the issue was resolved with the manufacturer. It should also be noted that Ryaan and team are in constant communication from the project inception until the very end. Kristina, the project manager, is unbelievably responsive. You really can get in touch with her around the clock. The workmanship is impeccable, and it's the first project I've done with a nonexistent punch list. Ryaan took care of small details before I even mentioned them. Finally, I want to add that they are just nice people. I really do think animals are the best judges of character. My dog is a Lhasa Apso, and there are some people he just doesn't like. I was worried that there would be lots of barking and growling throughout the project. However, that was not the case. My dog took a liking to the project team from the beginning. There was no barking and growling. If he can trust them, so can I. It was a wonderful experience, and they really have earned five stars. Frank was a no show to give me an estimate, no communication that he was running late or unable to make it. He accommodated coming early one morning to give an estimate that seemed fair. Fast forward to when they were scheduled to do the work, 30 minutes past start time no sign of Frank's team and no communication. Contact the office find out that they won't make it today. My experience has been poor communication and unreliableness. Won't be giving them a chance to reschedule and waste anymore of my time. It was a small job so maybe not worth the effort to provide good customer service. Seeing the business's response adding this - I understand things happen and I am not expecting perfection by any means but a little bit of respect for my time and communication would have been nice.

His crew got started right after we approved the work and they were onsite every day working to get the work done. He brought over a crew of like 4 or 5 guys who hung the drywall, mudded, sanded, primed and painted the ceiling of the 2 garage bays, enclosed stairwell and 500sqft bonus room with high ceiling, in like 5 days! If my GC would have been scoped to do this it would have been a 2 month process. Frank personally did a walk through with me after. Highly recommend.

They got the job done (about 1000 sq foot) in less than a week which was so helpful. They also updated our electrical outlets and light switches, coincidentally fixing a doorbell that apparently hadn't worked for decades. Seriously AMAZING! I hired them to renovate my bathroom after Luis told me they had a licensed plumber and an amazing…read moretile guy. Well, the plumber and tile guy were one and the same and the day they were starting the tile, they opened up a brand new tile cutter out of the box and started reading the instructions. They used a piece of cardboard as a spacer, so as soon as it got wet, the spacing started to get funky. I also laid out a mock-up on my kitchen table of how each row of tile was to line up that they completely disregarded after the first wall was done. I came home for lunch one day and they had installed the bullnose upside down! They also used the wrong blade for the tile cutter because all the cut edges are raggedy. I'm going to have to pay someone to redo most of it one day, which will involve me replacing the expensive Italian tiles. Aside from the horrible tile work, the window casing looks like it was put together with scraps of trim and they painted everything with a roller and didn't full nail holes before doing so. They also damaged the new tub when installing the drain and damaged some tiles installing some fixtures. The drain line to the sink was installed too high, so until we can get a plumber to come in and repair it, we had to bend the metal and tape it all together temporarily just to get the drain to open and close all the way. Finally, we keep finding set screws on the floor and fixtures keep coming apart (faucet handles will come off in your hand, towel bars come loose from the wall, etc). I never pick the cheapest contractor but Luis and Antonio assured me I'd be pleased with the final product. It looks like I did it myself and I am not handy!

We signed a contract in March of 2021 and he did not finish the project until April of 2022, a single bathroom remodel. In the course of demo for remodel, his crew cut through pipes and live wires. His crew attempted to conceal the issues by wrapping painters tape around water pipes, which resulted in flooding my downstairs. His crew left expose live wires with painters tape on them as a their fix and left my house in a potentially dangerous situation. Upon me expressing my concerns, he threaten to walk away and drop the contract. I was forced to continue the project, due to the fact he had caused more damage, than he made improvements at that point. He would constantly attempt to cut ever corner he could in rectifying it. Other than some unqualified laborers, he has no one on his payroll, he is simply calling contractors you could call yourself, with little to no planning and scheduling. This resulted in large delays between each phase and most sub contractor were so frustrated with him, they did not want to work for him. If it wasn't for constant calling and emailing him and his sub contractors directly, managing the project on our own, it would have never got done. What work him and his actual crew, of unqualified laborers did, was sub par and leaves us questioning what I did not see. I have not even finished expressing how bad every aspect of this project was, do not believe a word he says. I wish I could give negative stars.
