Mykonos is a hidden gem in Sunny Isles, overlooking the intracoastal! I visited last week for a friend's birthday and the food is amazing with beautiful views and the aesthetics and ambiance is handcrafted and gorgeous! It was not busy at all and the server was attentive. There were minor issues with our food and mostly we didn't have room for all the food we ordered and of course, traditional Greek birthday tradition of smashing a plate. I feel this may be a tricky location for business but it is easily found with options for valet and parking lot right next door. Looking forward to experiencing their Sunday Brunch and happy hour!

Place is off the beaten path Inside was pretty. Outside was nice. Food was ok but be aware of fish dinners since the chef does not take any bones out. It was a rough dinner to try and eat the Dorado. Scallops were ample and good. Greek salad had no oil or seasons on it we had to ask waiter for some Olive oil Ordered wine and got different bottle. Very strange situation. Would not go back Had better Greek/Mediterranean 2 nights before across Collins Ave

Delicious desserts. Great ambience. Great new spot! Title: A Culinary Odyssey in Mykonos My dining experience at Mykonos restaurant was nothing short of a gastronomic journey to the heart of Greece. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the inviting ambiance, reminiscent of the charming streets of Mykonos. The menu was a delightful exploration of authentic Greek flavors. The Moussaka was a revelation, layers of perfectly seasoned goodness that transported me straight to the Mediterranean. The Souvlaki was grilled to perfection, showcasing the chef's commitment to quality and taste. The staff at Mykonos deserves a special mention for their warmth and attentiveness. They effortlessly combined professionalism with genuine friendliness, making my evening even more enjoyable. The ambiance was a perfect blend of casual elegance, creating an atmosphere that felt both relaxed and sophisticated. Whether you're looking for a cozy dinner for two or a celebration with friends, Mykonos provides the ideal setting. I also appreciated the extensive wine list featuring excellent Greek selections, adding a perfect accompaniment to the already stellar menu. In summary, Mykonos restaurant offers a culinary voyage that captures the essence of Greek cuisine. It's not just a meal; it's an experience. I highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking an authentic taste of Greece right in the heart of [City]. OPA! Dimitri G.

We stopped by for dessert and wow! This was one of the top best desserts I have had! We shared the Bagusta! The ambience of this restaurant is superb and Chris was absolutely an amazing server! We will definitely be back for dinner soon!

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. When you step in you are automatically transported to Greece. The outdoor sitting faces the intercostal overlooking the breathtaking views. Our service was great our server Christian was very knowledgeable and very attentive. We will be back

I would not recommend this place. We came across this restaurant while walking back to the car from Gateway Park Market. We walk in and were advised we needed a reservation in order to eat there despite the inside portion of the place being empty, lol. Luckily someone else who worked there came up and greeted us and advised we didn't need a reservation and ended up taking us to a table in the outdoor portion of the restaurant. Still don't understand why the first person you come across tells you that a reservation is needed when there was clearly many empty tables..... waitress also didn't even know they served the Greek beer, Mythos, despite asking another waiter and it being on the menu?! Next, the waitress accidentally dropped a beer bottle and glass went flying everywhere. The gyros were subpar and no tzatziki is provided unless you order a side of it. It's decorated nice but not worth it at all! Definitely a disappointment.

This place was the BEST. I went with a group of 10 people and everyone found something to eat. The food was AMAZING and the service was very good. The owner is the most amazing woman, she was so funny and friendly. Great music, great interior, great everything. Will 100% be coming back again

While it is located in a shopping plaza, the restaurant's warm and inviting ambiance makes it easy to forget the surroundings and settle into a relaxed meal. Service was attentive throughout the evening, with staff providing helpful recommendations and ensuring a smooth dining experience. The wine list featuring a selection of Portuguese wines that pair beautifully with the menu. We started with the Bolinhos de Bacalhau and Polvo Grelhado, both excellent choices. The codfish cakes were crisp and flavorful, while the grilled octopus was tender and perfectly prepared. The fresh bread service was a welcome addition and a great way to begin the meal. For the main course, we enjoyed the Paelha Marinheira and the Parrilhada de Marisco. Both seafood dishes were outstanding, showcasing fresh ingredients and rich flavors. Dessert was equally enjoyable. The Pasteis de Nata offered the classic creamy custard and flaky pastry combination that Portugal is known for, while the Pêras ao Vinho do Porto provided a refined and delicious finish to the meal.

We had reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. They have a tree in the middle that gives it an outdoor open feel. And an incredible wine display in the back. Our waitress, from Portugal, did a great job of explaining the menu to us and guiding us on what to order. We started off with the Bolinhos de Bacalhau which are cod fritters and OMG they were sooo good! These tasted identical to the ones we've eaten in Lisbon. It comes with the classic pairing of black eyed peas which are awesome when eaten together. We also tried the Chouriço Assado which the presentation when its brought to the table is a treat itself. It comes out on a flaming pig and then its sliced tableside. Our waitress recommended trying the chorizo with the piri piri sauce which is slightly spicy and it was delicious. It added another layer of flavor. For entree we got the Paelha Marinheira which was absolutely amazing. First off, its a huge portion and comes piping hot. Each bite was full of seafood. We added the lobster which was perfection. It's great to share between 2 people. For dessert we ended with the pasteis de nata and its great because it brings 2 pastries and we paired it with ice cream. It makes for the perfect sweet treat without being too much. The pasteis de nata is served slightly warm and is perfect with the cool ice cream. Overall great restaurant for some Portuguese cuisine.

So first getting to this restaurant - you have to go around the side of the building entering through the beach access. As you come around the corner, you'll see some orange umbrellas where the restaurant is located. The seating area view is nice. The service was slow. It took about five minutes before someone came and got our drink orders. The food was pretty bland. We weren't happy that we had ordered the grilled sardines as an appetizer, and it came out at the same time as the main meals. We had ordered sweet potato fries instead of the vegetables with my husband's fish, but they never made the sweet potato fries. I had the crab and shrimp salad. Not a lot of flavor they depend on this mustard sauce that they give you with it, but I wasn't a fan. The crab and the shrimp refresh but again not much flavor. My daughter ordered the pasta with chicken. It was terrible no flavor at all. My husband's fish was OK. He did not like that. It came with the sauce on top. On top of it it wasn't the best meal and it was quite pricey. For four people is about $250 and we left not very satisfied. The location is nice that's why I gave it the second star, but other than that there was not really anything that would bring me back.
