Even over time they never got any better. It always felt like she never genuinely cared and just tried to see me as quickly as she possibly could. She would constantly talk to me in a very conceded, condescending manner, was very cold, and made me feel dumb for expressing my concerns or asking any questions. She would also roll her eyes whenever I experienced pain during my exams... I am now 21 years old and have finally gotten an answer for the issues I had been having (and expressed to her) ever since I was 15/16; I was recently diagnosed with stage 2/3 Endometriosis and had my laprasopic surgery about a month ago. My Endo symptoms severely started around 15 years old, and whenever I would express my concerns regarding them to Dr. Tuchman she would gaslight me, tell me "you're fine it's just your period", "everyone has bad period pain", "there's not much else I can do", "take tylonel", and just didn't seem to care about getting to the bottom of my serve pain at such a young age. I will NEVER forget this one particular appointment where she was judging me and even started to lecture me in front of a nurse in training for having marks on my chest, telling me that "whoever did this to you doesn't love you. this isn't love". Please keep in mind I was 17 years old. It makes me sad to think that I could have been saved of years of pain (and fearing the gynecologist) if a doctor believed me and took my symptoms with as much seriousness as I did. We also always used to have multiple issues with the insurance, waiting extremelyyy long to be seen, and the girls at the front desk were not the friendliest. She honestly just totally ruined going to the gyno for me at such a young age. I was already nervous enough with it being my first time. When I tried going to different doctors I was genuinely so scared- and quickly realized that it should be a comfortable and friendly experience, where no questions are dumb and I can speak up about pain. I have finally found and been with an amazing gynecologist who takes her time with me during my exams (40 mins minimum), makes me feel extremely comfortable, assures me that there's no such thing as "dumb questions", and takes the time to talk with me; she is so sweet and personable and genuinely caring! I wish I could go back in time to 16 year old me and never step foot inside this office and find a doctor who would have taken my pain seriously and just be nice.

First let me start with Dr. Trivax who is absolutely AMAZING! Unlike my previous doctor, as soon as outcomes were not as expected he left no stone unturned and did additional testing to identify an underlying issue that was the KEY to exactally why I have struggled so long with secondary infertility. I can't say enough great things about him. However the FINANCE DEPARTMENT is BEYOND HORRIBLE!! It's such a SHAME such great doctor staff are supported by such a poor performing finance department. I don't know how anyone there still has a job. My initial retrevial I almost missed starting my meds because it took almost week to get in contact with someone and get the issues resolved. It's close to impossible to get someone on the phone unless you raise all h*ll and call the office non stop leaving messages with every other department. Kudos to the nursing staff whose other main job is trying to get finance to call back patients. Additionally, after I did all my due diligence they are trying to tell me I have significant fees due AFTER I had the procedure done. Which they are now willing to "see what they can do and discuss with doctor" because ya, they dropped the ball informing me of these fees prior to procedure (mind you they even have a call with you prior to go over all fees you will be responsible for). And again, after I did my due diligence to ensure what my expected out of pocket would be for back to back retrievals they call me MID CYCLE to inform me oops that I owe fees and want to make me aware before I start my cycle.. but they are notifying me day 4 which is no where near before the start of a cycle. If you are between facilities, I strongly urge you to do your homework and due diligence as you will have nothing but headaches with the finance department which unfortunately is part of your journey. They could have called us at any point prior to 9:25am today and we could seek care elsewhere. The front desk staff are completely incompetent and unprofessional. This is a practice that needs to be absorbed by a bigger hospital organization and ensure competent patient care.
