We had our windshield replaced at Mister glass. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism towards customers, the attention to detail in replacing the windshield, and the way they worked with my insurance company to make the whole process as painless and as smooth as possible. This level of professionalism and customer service is very hard to find these days and was a very welcomed. I drove a whole hour to go there, and I will gladly do it again if I ever need a windshield replacement in the future. After reading reviews for multiple companies we contacted Mister Glass about replacing the glass in a 16 ft x 8ft arch window. It was a distinctive architecture feature that caught our eye when we were looking for a home. The home is 1968 construction with what we assumed was original single pane glass in the arch wood frame window. The extreme cold temps the last few winters created the need for more energy efficient windows. The team came out quickly for an estimate. The quote was better that 4 others and we liked the discussions with the owner. After getting the custom patterns created the 4 glass panels were delivered much faster than originally estimated. When taking apart 55 year old wooden frames you never know what to expect. Fortunately there were only minor issues. We only had to replace the bottom exterior wooden trim When painting the new trim I discovered some visual issues what were created due to the thicker glass and the size of the replacement trim. I shared photos with the owner and after consulting with his install crew we agreed on a plan to address the issue. This required the crew to return and remove the windows so that some work could be done, then reinstall the windows. The work has been completed and we are highly satisfied with the results. Imagine my surprise when, 2 minutes later, they told me they were leaving and would emaił an estimate. I told them they already texted an estimate and I expected the work to be done today. They told me no, first the estimate had to be emailed from the office for me to agree to the price. Eight hours a go he said I woułd recieve it within the hour and after signing it we could schedule. EDITED RESPONSE to include response to owner's "response" below. Insurance sent me to Mister Glass. The call to set up an appointment. I set one up, and then they called back almost immediately to tell me they don't do sunroofs on Saturdays. Not sure why they would schedule me for a Saturday if that is the policy, but I schedule for Friday and take a day off work. Friday, I drop it off. The guy tells me he got it in there but the rails need to be adjusted. The insurance company needed to set up appointment with dealer to adjust the rails. Frustrating, but ok. He helps me tape up the sunroof to make sure the covering doesn't fly off. Now is where the real issues begin. I call insurance and they call Mister Glass. The manager at Mister Glass told my insurance that there was glass in the track that was causing issues. After another employee JUST told me it was an adjustment issue. So either they lied to me or my insurance. Either way- not cool. And if they knew there was glass in the track, why did they not clean it out? When I get home. I realize there are stains all over my headliner which I know for a FACT was not there when I dropped off the car. Also the stains are ALL around the sunroof opening. Further more, when I was waiting for my car to get done, the employees were saying crass comments about an attractive female customer that had just left. One was jokingly calling her his girlfriend, etc. if this is how they talk while other customers are around, I don't want to know how they talk when they aren't around. UPDATE- Second shop I was sent to said there were several broken brackets caused by the terrible install of the sunroof. Parts are backordered so I will not get my car back for another TWO MONTHS. Literally every part of the sunroof mechanism and even the headliner must be replaced due to Mister Glass's work! Complete and total incompetence all around with "Mister Glass". Worst part about all of this? They got PAID to damage my car, and my insurance is having to shovel out nearly $10,000 to get it fixed. Thankfully this was an insurance claim and not out of pocket. EDIT- response to addison's comment below Out of all of that the ONLY thing you apologize for is the unprofessional comment? Yes, locker room talk is unacceptable, whether a customer is around or not. Your employees CLEARY have ZERO respect for females which is beyond unacceptable. But you don't apologize for the THOUSANDS of dollars of DAMAGE your employees caused to my car? The fact that this is a month later and I am STILL in a rental car to correct YOUR mistakes? And I still have TWO more months to wait. The fact that my car was FAR WORSE when it left your shop than when I dropped it off? Reach out if you can help me? No thanks you have "helped" enough. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to your store. The experience I have had has been beyond pathetic. read more

I have referred mister Glass for years. BUT , I asked them to replace a windshield for my customer . That turned into a major problem from there work , I have tried to get this resolved for 3 months. I even requested my money back as per there website, to resolve it myself with my customer. The manager said he was not even aware of that marketing claim. And refused a refund . Extremely dissatisfied. They replaced our front windshield and failed to properly seal it - resulting in water damage to the electrical system per the Toyota dealership. We agreed to let Mr Glass evaluate the damage and they took it upon themselves to attempt a repair without our permission. After this unprofessional move, we returned to the dealership to confirm that the car remained damaged. Mr Glass side texted the dealership technician asking him to persuade us that further repair was unnecessary. We have repeatedly asked Mister Glass to provide insurance information so we can file a claim with their insurance and they have ghosted us and told our Farmers Insurance Agent they planned to ignore our requests. The Farmer's insurance agent that recommended Mister Glass agrees that they should provide their insurance information, and that if we are forced to file a lawsuit, we will win. The company did a poor job that clearly resulted in damage, attempted a repair without our permission, attempted to sway our independent repairman and continues to ignore our request for a proper resolution. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I took my care in to get my windshield replaced, due to my Lane Change Sensors, and Adaptive Cruise they had to replace it in the shop. They replaced and calibrated my car. They told me it would be ready at 1 pm, and at 1 pm I got a call advising my car was ready. The car looks great, the windshield looks like it was factory installed. I got several quotes over the phone based on my rough measurements, but only two companies ever showed up to take actual measurements when I was ready to go. Had a small rock chip in the windshield and found these guys through yelp and other online reviews. They were easy to schedule, which was good. We had a couple hour window when they would arrive, but they were late and never called to update us. I thought calling when you miss a window was fairly standard business practice. We called up there and they apologized, and sent another tech out right away, instead of making us wait an unknown amount of time. That was nice of them. The new tech came out, confirmed the price and went to work. The price was reasonable, but a little more money than I remember paying for these fixes, but the last one was 10 years ago. Not bad overall, they didn't call when late, but did redeem themselves in the end, 4 stars. read more

I normally don't provide a review but this is something I have to write about in regards to customer service. I read the reviews of this shop and felt this was sufficient enough for me to bring in my car for a windshield replacement. They told me 2 or 3 hours but took almost 6 hours and I had to call them for the status on my car. They did tell me upon arrival that they had issues calibrating my windshield which they shouldn't, even though my car is lowered. Lowered cards should be calibrated just fine without any issues. One excuse. Finally receiving my car, I noticed none of my radar, dashcam, and power rear view mirror were working. I brought it back and they told me with my aftermarket parts and wires that they were not responsible for such issue. Second excuse. I refuted saying that it should be working the way I brought the car in for service. They had their techs trying to fix the issue but was unsuccessful. I had to go to an audio specialist to rewire the entire wiring system behind my rear view mirror to get everything just right. The factory wire was pulled and stripped. They weren't willing to pay for the full labor that the audio shop had to fix. The only reason I am giving this one star is because they paid half the cost which I still deserve the full cost of the repairs. Anyways, I wouldn't recommend this place and look elsewhere. Their customer service isn't great and really had a frustrating experience there. They should be more careful in removing parts from a car. read more

My insurance agent suggested Mr Glass to replace the cracked windshield on my car. I called Monday afternoon and they were ready to make an appointment for the next day. Because of conflicts in my schedule we set the appointment for Wednesday morning. They called on Tuesday afternoon to confirm the appointment and gave me a two hour window. The technician arrived right at the start of that window, introduced himself and explained what he would do and how long it would take. He got right to work, took care to not damage any of the interior or exterior of my car.
