It's a rather small shop with random items but the specialty food items and drinks was what caught my attention. Along side a wall, they had all these unique beers and spirits that I had to check out. Upon further inspection, I found the Bundaberg Ginger Beer that I fell in love with when visiting New Zealand last year. I haven't really looked super hard for it back home but I've often craved it. Seeing it on vacation just got me excited to pick it up and share with the hubby and friend we were visiting. I also picked up a pear cider that was made local. I believe the name was Finn River Cider. It was a little too tart for my liking and most of it went to waste but it was worth a try. The owner was very friendly and noted they just celebrated their 1 year anniversary. Here's to many, many more years of success!

I knew what cheese I wanted to buy, but he was helping out other customers and having a great time. I'll definitely come back if I need a high end charcuterie board. Do note that the cheeses can be pretty expensive, but I chalk it up to the location (rent is expensive!) and also the sourcing/rarity of the cheeses. I wonder if the cheeses ever get discounted if they're at the end of their shelf life...I would totally snatch them up!

They just opened a few days ago and will be celebrating their official grand opening next week. I popped over tonight and enjoyed a lovely glass of French chenin blanc and their tasty "cheese of the day" which was served on the world's cutest little charcuterie board along with crackers and a healthy drizzle of honey. It was the perfect bite with the perfect glass of wine. I was excited to meet the adorable owner, Candace, who hails from Anacortes and recent relocated back to the Skagit Valley after years of event planning in New York. Folks, this gal knows her stuff. It was delightful to sit at the counter and learn about her and her business. Can't wait to come back! Next week for their grand opening they'll be hosting international wine tastings every night. There were other things to buy in the souvenir space but I did not pay much attention since I was mainly looking for food. The employees were helpful and friendly.
