I really hate leaving bad reviews, which is why I'm leaving a 2... it wasn't the worst customer service ever, but as someone who rarely gets their nails done and only does so when I want to relax, I would not reccomend this salon. They used a machine (idk what it's called) and my cuticles were bleeding, and then he began wiping them with alcohol. I've been here multiple times before for dip powder with tips and have been pleased, but I won't be back after my most recent visit. I had specifically asked for my tips from the most recent manicure to be taken off but for my natural nail length to remain, and then I wanted a gel manicure (with a chosen color- that part is important). I left the salon with dip powder/acrylic from my last manicure still on half my nails (resulting in half my nails being very thick still), short nails (to the point where my fingernail is shorter than my actual finger), and clear polish, no color at all. There's even a hair/fuzz stuck on one of my nails, and it's clearly visible considering that they used a clear polish. On top of everything else, I was in pain for a large part of the nail removal due to how thin/hard they were drilling my natural nail to remove the dip powder. I pulled my hand away multiple times but was never apologized to, despite clearly being in pain. I'll accept partial responsibility for this experience for being non-confrontational, but I feel as though everything that I had asked for was completely ignored, especially considering one of the first things they did was cut my nails extremely short. Once one is short, there's not exactly any fixing it. At that point, I gave up all hope for receiving what I had asked for. I even pointed to the color I wanted multiple times, and the lady completing my manicure simply didn't grab it from the shelf. I'm not one to complain, especially on a public platform, but this most recent experience was unbelievably frustrating. I'm very unhappy with this experience, and I will not be returning. Cut 4 out of 10 cuticles, 1 was badly cut! I had to walk out of the salon after this. My ring finger was bleeding profusely, this photo was taken after I got the bleeding to stop. Complete like of care! If I get an infection I will take legal action. read more

This is the worst my nails have ever been. She did nothing like what I asked for, cut me twice, one of my nails were chocked and she did not fix it when I asked, and one just broke off three days after I got them done. She was very inconsiderate and was filing my nails very aggressively to the point where it felt like she was about to rip my nails off. She also didn't shape my nails until after the acrylic was on and charged me extra for it. read more

Came here several months ago and had a great experience. Came back today and had a 15 year old boy start my pedicure. He had no idea what he was doing at all, nothing felt good, and then he literally didn't want for the rocks to cool and burned me. I didn't say anything at first, but the woman could clearly see my discontent on my face. My husband also got a pedicure and they cut his nails so short they were bleeding. I will never go back to this place again , they are one of the many nail salons that add on several services without saying a price or asking due to the pandemic we are in they are definitely price gouging!!! I went in for a pedicure for $40 the package said and got gel polish and ask her to fill in a few toes with acrylic ended up walking out of there paying $88 for some f$&/?)& toes I was beyond pissed then she's looking for a tip on top of that! I asked her to explain and she didn't break down the prices at all ! Do you honestly think I went in there expecting to pay $88 for a pedicure in a small rinky dink place like that ! Not a fan of all the upselling they do to you here, constantly. And the "massage" for the pedicure was literally some lady scraping her nails down my leg over and over and over. Anyone can do that, first of all. There was no effort or actual massage taking place. And second of all, it was annoying and downright painful. My service felt rushed. I came in for a fill and she suggested a new set which I agreed too. During removal she was very rough and rushing even though it wasn't busy when I came in. She ended up ripping my nail during removal which caused bleeding and is still painful. She didn't even offer to clean it or use antiseptic. I asked if she would clean it before adding the new nails and she said yes but didn't. I didn't even get to wash the blood off before the new set... then she also used a different color than what I asked for. The choice ended up a fine color. I'm more upset about the pain. And now there is blood trapped under a brand new set. read more

I've been coming here for years but took a break due to location. I just started coming back for the last couple of visits but I won't continue. Heather (owner) is fantastic as are all the staff but it's no longer relaxing since heather has her year old child in the salon and everyone takes turns. Nursery rhymes play on the loud speaker. We had to wait 40 min before someone started on our pedicure even though I had an appointment. The lady didn't put plastic bag liner in our tub, but everyone else have a plastic liner. When filing my nails, she scraped my skin on my big toe causing it to bleed. Would've stopped bleeding but she kept spraying alcohol on it and rubbing it back and forth causing the wound to get bigger. I told her multiple times that it hurts and to leave it alone, but she kept messing with it. She went and got some green goo liquid to put on it and it hurt soooo bad I was about to yell at her. My nails looks terrible and I still had to pay $50 for the regular pedi with gel. No sort of compensation for causing me pain and it is still hurting a day later. I'm pretty sure they reuse the toe separated and flip flops cuz I saw her putting it back on her carts. And they do not use a new nail file like other salons. I will NEVER go to Mystic Nails EVER again!!! I hate that I have to leave any kind of star but here is my experience, get ready!!! I made an appointment for a full set with SNS dip. I wanted tips put on since my nails were extremely short, my nail tech was confused from the moment I sat down. I told him I wanted to choose a color and he kept pushing the pink and white powder into my face, I guess suggestion that this is what I wanted. He was soooo rough on my nails I had to pull back multiple times and he just kept on. Here's the kicker, after I chose a color he gets out the LED light and I tell him THREE times I want the dip, not gel, he nods his head, then the girl next to him explains in Vietnamese what I want; They nod and he keeps working on my nails for 10-15 minutes. I told him I want them short and square, he rolls his eyes every time I ask him to even them out (should be standard right?) then I ask him if he can get the dead skin off by the cuticles he replies "You want a manicure?" I said "Well sure, I just want my nails to look nice.' He replies "Too late now, next time you can ask for that." At this point I'm just like whatever. THEN he pulls out the gel polish and starts to open the bottle. I tell him "No, I asked for the dip." They all start looking at each other and speaking in Vietnamese then the women who spoke to me earlier said "Well he already did the acrylic so is that okay, you get gel now?" I said "I wanted SNS but I guess" (clearly annoyed) then they try and convince me that gel is better blah blah blah. Now my nails are done I go to pay and THEY TRY AND CHARGE ME EXTRA FOR THE GEL I DID NOT WANT!!! At that point I lost it I said "No y'all need to charge me for what I asked for three separate times." They then asked me if I had even gotten the SNS dip before and I said "Yes that's what I usually get." the receptionist then asked me "Well if that is what you usually get then why didn't you stop him when you realized he was doing gel?" I said "Really?!?! I did three separate times and I don't do nails for a living I don't know what your process is." I will NEVER go back there!! I've had my eyebrows waxed there before and they were so uneven and damn near gone I cried as soon as I got into my car, luckily I can fill in my eyebrows, I now go to the brow bar at Ulta! My sister also had an infection in her nail beds from them. When we first moved here a year ago my mom sister and myself would all go there and they were our go to spot. Again NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!! If you'd like to be taken advantage of, get infections, not have your wants heard and your eyebrows taken then this is the place for you! read more

I use to really like this place but recently I went in for mani/ pedi and I felt rushed ... They do your manicure while your still in the pedicure chair. No lotions.. no trimming of dead skin around your nails. I felt RUSHED ... when I go get my nails done I expect to enjoy it .. I was rushed and the nail tech was rude. She also made my thumb bleed then over charged me.

I called in an appointment for 12pm for 3 people I was told yes ok and they took down my name. We get there at 11:50ish we let them know we have an hour My two co-workers asked if they could get a mani and pedi at the same time they said yes. The gentlemen took me to do my acrylics and showed them to pedi. Chairs 1 lady worked on 1 of my coworkers and my other coworker was left sitting for 30 mins in cold water and no one checked on her until we asked. When they finally started working on her they had less than 20 minutes left before we had to leave. I was ok until the man cut me filing my nail and then put some green liquid on my cut I guess to stop the bleeding and didn't even ask if that was ok just did it and it stung VERY bad and still has redness and is puffy then he continues on like nothing he kept doing it. I had to keep telling him oww that hurts and just kept saying its ok until I would jerk away he didn't push my cuticles back or attempt to trim them with nippers and he kept prying under my natural nail with his dirty thumb nail. My nails are uneven even though I kept telling him. There is black acrylic all over my cuticle area like I've been digging in dirt, he even got it on my knuckles and when he put the top coat on he streaked black onto the pink acrylic making it dirty looking. I was just going to deal and walk away considering I'm cosmetologist I can fix the little stuff he messed up on, but I went to check out he didn't even show me my total just handed me screen in front of 3 other customers asking for a tip I just hit 20% and moved away so they could be taken by him, so at this point Im thinking $40ish plus 20% tip like normal places.....no they charged my card $75!!!!! And I didn't even know until I looked at my bank app. I am beyond myself 75 is ridiculous for the set I got not to mention we still left 20mins After 1pm my coworkers both got mani. And pedi. But paid 100 with tip included what's up with that???? And the site doesn't have pricing either so I definitely got ripped off read more
