All the ladies are welcoming when you come in and they're very helpful when deciding which tanning lotion to purchase. They have regular tanning beds, and hybrids which have red lights. The atmosphere and vibe has changed completely since they got a new owner. The new owner got rid of all workers who had bad attitudes and replaced them with positive, uplifting, friendly, and women who are eager to help you become the most beautiful version of yourself. The inside of the salon is beautiful and so clean. As soon as I walked in they offered me something to drink. They were attentive and catering to my needs as a client. The pedicure spa is beautiful. Pros: affordable, flexible, creative, hip, wine, easy, text communication, use qaulity hair color (usually joico), woman owned local business Cons: occasional tardiness, parking around lunch time, a bit girlie (the hubs gets a great haircut here too but decor is very pink) My hair is currently bright purple with a fade from plum to lavender. I am on your 7th crazy color by Lynae. I know she takes requests but all of my amazing results are because I let my hair artist experiment. I have never EVER regretted letting her dye my hair a fun color.  And maintaining a vibrant hairdo is not cheap so I wouldn't get it done if it wasn't worth the money. My kids and husband also gets thier hair cut by Lynae. My hubs has wavy thick hair so if he goes to a barber shop it always comes out terrible. Lynae scissor cuts it short so it lays flat and once a month for $25 bucks is a chain chop shop price for an expert hair dresser. Lynae clients are diverse genders and ages.  I can speak to her crazy hair colors and easy to manage cuts but I can't recommend her enough. I did not come here for a tan.This place is beyond cute, way beyond! I wasn't able to take pictures of everything because I was a few minutes late for my facial but I wish I would've. The parking situation here isn't the greatest. The plaza is right on the corner of oak and truxtun and next to Jake's Tex mex. I circled the parking lot twice to find a parking and tried to avoid the threatening signs from Tex mex about getting towed! I parked In the alley. As soon as I came in I was greeted by the receptionist & she told me where to go! I came to get a facial and I was beyond happy with my results and with service. Reblume esthetics went above and beyond with her service. She made me feel comfortable and her room was so cute and clean. I asked her lots of questions about what she was doing to me and she didn't get annoyed or anything. I shared with her about my problematic areas, and also shared with her my worst and best facials. I just recently moved to Bakersfield, so have become totally dependent on Yelp to find places to go. I was in dire need of getting rid of my glow in the dark pale skin so went on the hunt for a tanning salon. Not a whole lot of places, unlike the SFV where I came from - so I decided to try this one since it was not far off the freeway on my way home from work. The prices were far better than in L.A. and the salon looks nice. The beds were clean. Friendly staff. I bought a month of tans and was quite satisfied. I even renewed when my month was up. I have nothing to compare it to out here, but I am pretty pleased with Mystique and the services there. read more

This place is amazing their spray tanning is so up-to-date and so modern and perfect! You may think by this review I might have some kind of affiliation with this company but I assure you I do not. I absolutely love this place! I go here for tanning on the high powered beds and they have the best tanning compared to other locations. I'm white but I tan super easy and love these tanning beds. The young lady up front is always super friendly and knows me by name when checking me in. I've never had to wait for a bed and they are always clean and ready to go for the next customer! Rochelle did my eyelashes for my wedding and she did an amazing job. You could see my lashes in all the wedding pictures, even the photos of my husband and I's first dance. This is a one stop salon. First, they have the best tanning beds AND spray tan in town. You look like you've just been to Hawaii after a few weeks in their beds. Andrea has done my hair for 10 years. She's amazing. I've been blonde, ombré, balayage, red, brunette, and back to blonde. My color is always fantastic. She does my daughters hair as well. Nikki and Leah have both done my nails. Such a cute salon, and very clean. I absolutely love how it's decorated, it makes getting my hair or nails done feel like such a girly retreat. I've been a loyal customer of Andrea for my hair, and Leah for my nails for several years, and I highly recommend the both of them. I didn't realize just how awful my previous hair stylist was before I switched to Andrea. It looks so good now, and I often get compliments from strangers. As for my nails, I will never go to someone else. I'm famous for being really picky, and Leah does such a meticulous and beautiful job. Her nail art is always really creative, and she's such a fun person, it makes you feel like you're hanging out with your best friends every two weeks. Lynae is the best hairstylist! My hair was black and it's blonde now. She did it right too. None of this "yes I can in one try" and fry my hair either. I really like the look of the salon. It's very clean and everyone seems friendly. My unfortunate situation is with your nail person whom is unprofessional. Her name is Calli and I only booked once. She is so rude. I waited at least 40 minutes after my scheduled time. Once she started on my nails she began to gossip about her other clients.
