This is the second or third time that I have been here... and it actually not named Treehouse anymore. It is called Mythic Brewing and it has a large blue and white sign out front. That is about all that has changed since my last visit. The parking out front is small but there is some overflow next door. The interior has beers on tap but also lots of can options to take with you. The inside area is pretty small but there is a fairly spacious outdoor area. The girl working at the bar was very nice and explained how Mythic had just recently bought this and expanded to the area. Several of the beers were from Mythic but there were other options. There were a lot of IPAs and sours which are not my favorite. But they had a lager called 5 County lager which was really good!!! There was also a guy playing guitar and singing on this Sat afternoon. We had some time to kill before our check in time at our beach location and this was a good place to spend it. It is a more rustic and laid back atmosphere which is really nice at times!

    Outdoor space with dart board!

This place is dope, very cool bathroom with a book ceiling! Friday night trivia is fantastic, great time and there's often food trucks during trivia! Live music makes it fun and the outdoor space is so great! Plus there's a dart board and pool table! Definitely need to check it out if you're in town!

    Classical covers are pretty cool.

This place has changed hands a couple of times. Each iteration has brought a different flavor. This one has emphasized musical performances, new better furniture, and generally classing the property up. Great for chilling with friends, and for private groups. Give it a try to taste local brews, and your favorite drafts.

One of the most unique and homey bars I've ever been to. The place used to be a host and has now been transformed into a tea/brew house that serves a plethora of bottled beer and a few beers on tap. Best part about this place is the backyard. The backyard features a patio area and a large open grassy area with benches and a couple of high tables. They also have a music stage in the backyard where they have live music on Saturdays. This place is cool, you'll want to check it out.

Such a cute place to grab a beer!! Variety of ales on tap! Unique venue with free video games and warm staff. Great outside area that offers live music. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Really amazing and unique place, lots of craft brews in cans and bottles. As well as on tap. Awesome atmosphere with lots of things to look at. Today when we went they were paring the beer on tap to different donuts.

Cool eclectic place, with a good selection of beers. Can't wait to stop by during the spring to use the outdoor area.

Best beer around here. More expensive than a lot of the other watering holes but worth it. Staff are always fun and friendly.

Instead, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've ever had. From the beginning, things felt off. Our server was wearing basketball shorts, which seemed completely inappropriate for the atmosphere and setting of the restaurant. The wait for our food was excessive, and when it finally arrived, it was almost entirely inedible. The food was cold, the broccoli was essentially raw, the rice and risotto looked and tasted nothing like they should, and every meal at the table was disappointing. For a bill of over $300, not a single person in our party left satisfied. To make matters worse, we noticed the restaurant had a B sanitation rating, which certainly didn't inspire confidence after the quality of the meal we received. The waterfront location is beautiful, but that's where the positives end. When you're paying premium prices for a special celebration, you expect quality food, attentive service, and a memorable experience. Unfortunately, we got none of those. We won't be returning, and I couldn't recommend Saltwater Grill to friends, family, or anyone looking for a nice meal in the area.

We had met with at best limited success. This year, I found The Velvet Anchor Bottle Shop online and have been following on FB since February. The Velvet Anchor Bottle Shop rocks. Nick was behind the bar on our first visit. Nick was super. He was massively informed about a ton of beer from the Carolinas and further afield. They had a sweet selection of beer from Germany, Great Britain, and Japan. I even saw a 12-pack of Bud-lite hidden away. There are eight taps with a mead and cider on tap. We got there at 1 pm and there were dead, so we grabbed Nick. We talked about local places to go and Big Ten Football. Nick went to Indiana, and I attended Ohio State. When things picked up, everyone was a local, which we thought rocked. We socialized with all sorts of folks, and after two beers, we were off to the beach to have a delightful afternoon with some great beer. The Velvet Anchor is not a large place, two 4-tops, a 2-top, and maybe 10 stools. They did a fair amount of to-go business. This is not the place for children and large groups. But if you and your significant other want a quiet, friendly place to try some great beer, or want to take some back to your place, this location is a gem. We liked it so well that we took our two friends back later in the week.

On June 24th, we first attempted to call the restaurant multiple times in order to place an order. So my husband and I chose to drive to the restaurant to place a carry out order and wait. When the hostess was placing the order, she said that anything over $100 would impose a 18% gratuity. This was a carry out order. We were not being seated in the restaurant. The hostess got the manager Amber. Amber was not receptive at all to our point that this was a carry out order. Our choice to tip or not is our choice. The order was $103. Really. Wow. My daughter insisted she would pay the tip. But my husband and I will not set foot inside this establishment again. Very disappointing. First we were told that the phones were working, but I got a message saying the voicemail had not been set up. Second, we drove in thinking we had to pay to park. Third we placed the order, but, I had to call my daughter to get additional info about cooking preferances. Fourth, we placed the order with the hostess who then tells us there is a 18% tip imposed on orders over $100. The order was $103 (after my husband and I dropped our meals from the order). This is absolutely absurd. Very frustrating evening for my husband and I. We are on vacation, and this is the hospitality shown to visitors. We asked to split the order, so that I could place an order for my daughter and my husband could place an order for us. But oh no, you can't do that. And then we were told that there would be a charge to use a credit card. Do you know how to rub salt in the wound. We paid $133.89 for a carry out food order that was barely over $100.

This review is for our one visit, but I know we'll be back when we are out east again! Had so much fun!! I felt like a kid at Chuck E Cheese's again (only without the creepy characters or crappy pizza). First off, walking in the door, I see a large Hungry Hungry Hippo game, one that we can sit on and control. I'm in. I'm ALL in!! But first, we went bowling. The bowling alleys are nicely kept, clean and updated. Shoes aren't nasty either. The fun display for the scoreboard kept me entertained, be sure and watch the cartoon pins egging you on. Loved it, and I didn't do half bad either! (I guess my Wii bowling has sharpened my skills? haha!) So after an hour of bowling we headed over to check out the rest of the games. There's Daytona racing where you can race each other from your own individual game/screen, there are all sorts of claw prize games and carnival style games, skee ball, air hockey, digital hunting, pinball, basketball, I mean so many games!! And, fortunately, there are no tokens here, instead you purchase a debit type card that is re-loadable and doesn't expire. You just take your game cards to the prize counter and pick you poison. Then keep the card for next time or give it to someone. Besides bowling and games, you can also go into the sports bar and grab some grub! Soups, salads, sliders, pizza, and so on. And this is not typical bowling alley food, it's a bit nicer than that. Compliment your food with some beer or wine and top it all off with dessert! Most main menu items are $10-15. Outside there is a mini golf course (Golfin' Dolphin), driving range, Go-Karts, and a Sky Trail to climb, swing, and explore. We didn't want to leave! But we didn't say good bye, instead just see you next time. CHEERS!!!
