This place is located in a strip mall across from the Delta Marriott hotel. We were wandering around and stopped into check the place out for lunch. There was one woman working that I am assuming is the owner. She was very friendly. They only had a couple items available for lunch, but we did come back for pistachio cheesecake after eating lunch next-door. It was pretty expensive for a small piece of cheesecake at $8 but we came back because the lady was so friendly. The cheesecake was delicious.

    Huge croissant club sandwich.

Great new coffee and pastry shop much needed in the shores. The croissant club is my favorite after beach lunch. Family owned and very friendly.

Cafe Seating, very clean & comfortable

Highly recommend this new coffee spot in the shores. Coffee is delicious and affordable. The baked goods look delicious in the counter! I think it's the family who run the counter/business. Super friendly and kind, make you feel welcome! It sort of blends in, in the shopping center. First time, I look forward to my return! A+

The avocado toast was also tasty. I also highly recommend the iced strawberry matcha latte. It was delicious and refreshing. They also have gluten free pastry options. The atmosphere had a fun, laid-back vibe. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick, even though the restaurant was busy. The only downside is the parking lot. It's very small, so finding a parking spot can be a challenge.

A handful of outdoor tables, the rest inside, all clean and efficiently turned. Everything comes out fast and hot--service is brisk, bordering on assembly-line smooth. The French toast ($9) is as basic as it gets: two slices, a dusting of powdered sugar, syrup, and a lonely half strawberry. It tastes exactly like what it looks like--standard, soft, slightly forgettable. Not offensive, just... there. The latte was solid, and my mom's coffee was hot, strong, and dependable. The avocado toast tried, but didn't quite land. Cream cheese base, fried egg, tomato, and sliced avocado--some of which leaned a little too ripe. The tomato had a firm bite, the bread barely toasted, and the whole thing felt under-seasoned and uninspired. It needed salt, crunch, personality--something. The double chocolate muffin was moist, soft, and generously studded with melted chocolate pockets. Not house-made-feeling, more like a well-executed bakery standard--but still the best bite of the morning. (They also offer cranberry walnut and blueberry.) Bottom line: Skip the composed plates. Grab a muffin and a coffee--it's the smartest, happiest move here.

With places to have a small meeting at a table, bring the kiddos to play at their own coffee bar, or just get comfy and people watch. Our barista was friendly, and laughed at my hubbys off beat humor. We couldn't have asked for better service. I ordered a blueberry muffin, but it was far to sweet for me (personal preference) but my kiddo loved it. I loved that they repurposed an old hutch/side table for the sugar and to go items. Reduce, reuse, recycle is the way to make the planet a better place. This is also a great place for some cute photos.

Because…read morefor many of us, that cup of coffee out in the wild is our little "me moment," our reset button, our decompress-or-rev-up-for-the-day ritual. Sometimes it's both. I stopped in on a Monday around noon and this place was hoppin' in the best way. Even so, there was just one person ahead of me and one behind me -- quick, easy, and not chaotic. Inside? Adorable. Cozy. Thoughtful. They have tons of seating: little two-tops throughout, a gorgeous long farmhouse table with room to add extra chairs, plus a comfy sitting area with a couch, armchairs, and an Insta-cute backdrop that literally says "Coffee Therapy" in neon. The whole vibe is "come in, exhale, get your fix, stay a while." I met up with a couple of homeschool moms I'd never met before and we settled at the big table -- great for group meetups or working. The chair I chose definitely needs a cushion refresh (I could feel the wood underneath me), but overall the space feels warm, welcoming, and very lived-in in a good way. Coffee-wise, I was pleasantly surprised I could order a decaf caramel macchiato (not every local shop offers decaf espresso!). They also offer milk alternatives and they have what looks like every syrup flavor ever created lined up behind the bar. If you want options, this is your spot. I noticed one teen drinking a bright blue icee-style drink, so even non-coffee drinkers can still get something fun and treat-like. There's also a pastry case with muffins, parfaits, cake pops, brownies, and more -- plus a small retail area with cute items that lean toward boutique-style pricing. It fits the space perfectly and adds to the charm. I also loved that they had a chess board two teens were using, and I spotted toys for younger kids -- such a thoughtful touch if you've got littles with you. For us, it's a 45-minute drive, but if this were closer? I'd absolutely pick this over a box-store coffee chain to get work done, do school, meet friends, or grab a little "me moment" whenever I needed one. Super cute spot with personality, charm, and a relaxed welcoming vibe. If you're near it -- go. And if you're not... maybe it's still worth the drive. Update: Forgot to mention this earlier -- my decaf caramel macchiato was only $7 with tip, which felt totally fair for the size and quality. Always helpful to know price points when trying a new spot!

I tried the blueberry coffee cake and it was so good -- not overly sweet, super soft, and packed with blueberries. Easily one of the better coffee cakes I've had in a while. I wasn't able to access my previous review of Cinnamon Tree, so I'm glad to leave a fresh one…read more We have loved Cinnamon Tree for well over a decade. The food is consistently excellent, the desserts are beautiful and delicious, and the balance of savory and sweet is one of the things they do best. From the patisserie case to the fully loaded crepes, our family has yet to be disappointed. That is saying something, because usually someone has a critique somewhere. Here, there truly is something for everyone, and we all leave happy. The portions are generous, which we appreciate. We almost always bring leftovers home, and that just means we get to enjoy it all over again later. The service is consistently friendly and helpful. The staff brings a youthful, upbeat energy that adds to the atmosphere. Each visit feels like stepping into a European-style patisserie, and that charm has kept us coming back year after year. With that said, I do want to share one small concern. They close at 3:00 p.m. We are big brunch people, but our schedule often leans toward late morning or early afternoon rather than first thing when they open. I understand there are likely good reasons for their hours, and I know many early birds benefit from them. Still, it can be disappointing. On three separate occasions, we have driven over looking forward to our favorites, only to find the doors already locked. We were not alone. On the most recent visit, three other cars pulled in and had to turn around as well. Even with that frustration, our overall experience with Cinnamon Tree remains overwhelmingly positive. It is a place we genuinely love and will continue to support, just hopefully a little earlier in the day next time.
