I don't usually write reviews until I've eaten somewhere a few times, but this is an optimistic 5-star review because I live close to here and I really want them to succeed as I like what I see so far. Food: The rating for food alone would be 4-stars right now. Everything was tasty but the textures were a little off for the char siu and the flavors were a bit off for the Lomo Saltado. Chicken wings were excellent but small (wingletes). Fried rice and garlic noodles were very tasty. The owners are VERY open to feedback right now, including adding new dishes and even cuisine types. I'm a little worried they're a bit too scattered due to the variety of cuisines offered and I hope they find a good balance. Ambiance: Fast food but nicer. It's only a few weeks old so stuff is very clean and new right now. Service: The owners were both there and very enthusiastic and friendly. They were happy to explain their experience/background, the restaurant theme, and answer any questions about the food. Price/value: The portions are on the larger side and we definitely had leftovers after fully stuffing ourselves during lunch. Still post-COVID prices but felt like a good value for high quality ingredients.

Huge improvement from the first visit!!! We opted to go inside this time to check out the interior. Very beautiful inside that is quaint and matches the foods vibe. The staff was very friendly from start to finish of our visit. We ordered the orange chicken, lomo saltado, garlic noodles, and fried rice. The orange chicken is consistent and good in flavor. The lomo was also tasty. Fried rice is a must, and the garlic noodles were good, although I prefer more of a sauce to be paired with it versus the oil. This is just a personal preference but i wish they had a standard soda fountain machine like Coca-Cola products, I don't like the current offerings of "stubborn" sodas as they don't quite hit the same when pairing with your meal. With that being said the offering makes sense since the food is fresh made. I'm hopeful that the other food offerings are similar and look forward to trying more with the same service i experienced this time.

Went on a Friday night just before 7 and it was so busy. I know they're pretty new still but they need to work on their speed and efficiency especially if they have a drive thru window. I didn't see anyone using the drive thru when we went, and it was still very slow. We were looking forward to this peruvian chinese, asian fusion spot. The food was ok. I wasn't blown away by the taste of the huli huli chicken or the Lomo saltado. To me, they were very salty. My husband's pork cheese katsu had no cheese. The sweet garlic fried chicken was just ok. I'm not sure what the pink sauce was but it helped cut the heavy taste of the meat by mixing it with the rice or dipping the meat into that sauce. The green sauce was for the lomo saltado. That was too salty/spicy and had too much garlic going on, on top of the super garlicky noodles already. I think i had an upset stomach from all the garlic lol. Weren't we also supposed to get a waffle character as part of the bento meal??? Dunno what that is, cuz we didn't. I think that one of the staff handed out something for free to others but we didn't get anything. Another staff went around apologizing for the near 20 to 30 min wait we had before getting our food. She offered us a free soda, but in the end, we still didn't get one. It's cool they do those bento combo boxes with a little bit of everything, but personally, I would've liked it better if they offered customizable bentos, like orange chicken with lomo saltado instead. But honestly, I think with how busy it is, it probably wouldn't work great for them. The boba blueberry milk tea I thought I got, turned out to be a yogurt drink which was good but....that was off-putting because I didn't expect that. The place was quite small. We decided to eat there because it was almost a 30 min drive for us though we live in the area. It's in an area that's super far out from everything else. There was a weird display of plates and tableware for sale that took up almost half the room.....I think they should remove that to make more space for tables and chairs that patrons can sit on.

My husband and I stopped by on Sunday afternoon. The service was amazing! We were greeted by both the front and personally by a friendly guy, who I'm assuming is the manager. He knew we were new so he explained the menu to us. Very helpful. I love how they have a self order kiosk. We find it helpful when we just want to take our time looking through the menu. The inside is pretty big and the decor is very nicely done. Super clean. My family was happy with their meals. The Lomo Saltado was delicious! The steak was very tender.

Decided to do a Mobile order for the Monday and Tuesday summer special and it did not disappoint. The rib-eye was super tender no chewiness detected. Sauce is tasty and the ingredients were fresh. I got it to go but decided I had time to eat there. The berry lemonade is delicious

I was not sure what kind of food they were serving, like others I thought it was going to be Greek but it also said Fusion so I wanted to check it out and see exactly what they were offering here. I used the drive-thru which was an easy option for a busy week day dinner. The drive thru menu has pictures and features appetizers, Bento Boxes and Family meals. I ordered one Bento Box and it was plentiful for my husband and I (we couldn't even finish it). The box was 17 and some change and the presentation was very cool. The garlic noodles were very good, reminded me of Korean ones I have had, the fried rice was made with fresh veggies and egg, the Katsu was probably my favorite and the wings were slightly sweet with a garlic finish very good. I didn't try the pickled vegetables but they my husband like them. The service was excellent and I will absolutely be back to try something else.

Visited on Sat 9/21 around 12:30 pm. We were encouraged by the reviews and supporting a new local business but our experience was not good at all. Firstly, half of the menu(the right side) was not available. Overall impressions is that the place is very clean and inviting for dinein. However, the food was just ok, nothing we ordered was served hot. It was room temperature or cold which was very off putting. The burger and gyro was very messy and not put together well which took away from even thinking about the taste. Here is what we ordered; Gyro - 9 year old daughter & me ordered it was it was very messy, meat and fries cold, served on a very flimsy paper plate, leaking juices Chicken/Rice - chicken tasted rubbery and no flavor - fried rice was good Chicken wings - served room temperature Beef slider- very messy, fell apart after first bite Parmesan fries - room temperature, served with very little garlic and Parmesan Final thoughts, the place has a lot of potential to be great, just need to serve & cook food to order, serve hot food, rethink some of the offerings and make presentation of certain dishes better.

I want to be nice and fair. I would say this place is 5 stars if they are better with the staff being organized. Food was good I did like it! The staff are nice but seemed a little overwhelmed. The staff member that helped us order was sweet. She showed us how to order thru the kiosk so we didn't have to wait in line. The seating area is a little smaller than I thought but I will go back and take it to go. We shared the Signature Bento B box and a Beef Gyro as well as Parm fries. They will be better once they have their system down and they catch a groove of things.

Our first time here and I will say those chicken wings were delicious better than big name restaurants. My daughter and I tried the bento box C must say will fill you up without a doubt. We wanted to try this new business and food. The owner and staff were friendly, we were given some free samples to help us decide our order. He recommended the bento C, huli huli chicken, saltado, fries, garlic noodles, fried rice and we added 3 chicken wings-ala cart. We took it home, 6 minutes away, opened the box and everything in the bento box was lukewarm as if the box was prepared in advance and attempted to keep warm on a holding area, sorry but after two bites can't risk it! The chicken wings were good as they were prepared fresh and hot! Please, please check your food temperatures. It's so sad it's being thrown out. If we ate in, we would have sent the bento back. We may try you again but only if we eat in. read more

We ordered catering from this restaurant for our warehouse employees: lunch for 160 people and dinner for 30. The portions were incredibly generous, and I was pleasantly surprised that the catering quality matched the quality of individual orders at the restaurant. It's impressive that they maintained such food consistency with such large orders. The food was delicious, and this restaurant is definitely reliable! Riverside truly needed a standout restaurant, and this place delivers! While it's not the cheapest option out there, the value you get for the price is absolutely worth it. read more

This is the first time we tried Mythos as we wanted to give them some time to get everyone trained and experienced. I'll start by saying the service was excellent we came in and they were welcoming and friendly. They gave us samples of the different dishes we requested so we could decide what we wanted. Food came quickly and was good. I have seen several negative remarks on the amount of food they give you for the price, but I would not agree with those statements. I'm a big eater and my wife and I shared a combo with a side of white rice and it was plenty. We will come again. read more

Very courteous and attentive staff that gave me a friendly welcome upon entering the restaurant. The manager explained the dishes to me and my husband so we could understand the menu. The food was delicious and served hot with lots of flavor. I liked the creativity of the food, it is a nice addition to our neighborhood. The food is great and every dish stands out. A lot of times when you go out to eat everything has a lot of salt, oils and butter and it eventually tastes the same. I like that the fried rice focuses on a fresh vegetable flavor. The garlic noodles are not super oily like the ones at yardhouse. I hope this place does well. Decided to give them a try and the food was very delicious. We had the lomo and orange chicken and both were very good. The cashier was very nice and helpful. She handed us some samples and all were very flavorful. The inside seating area was also very nice to be in. My husband and I went in for dinner and the young man at the counter was very nice and enthusiastic. He explained the meals and gave us free samples. The food was very good. Chicken wings were a little dry but still very flavorful. Fried rice was so good and the beef was delicious. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is bc they're still quite unorganized. Only half of my order was ready and the other half came out much later. Sometimes that's to be expected when just opening 4 weeks prior. I would still recommend to friends! I asked for refund and he gave it to me. He never offered to make it right. Instead made a bunch of excuses as to why the food wasn't made. I went through the drive thru 6/28 we ordered @ 6:25 and didn't get our food until 7:30 already this was frustrating but as I know they are new I let this go but did speak to a few employees about the excessive wait. We got our food brought it home just to see our chicken came out completely raw. We called and were completely dismissed not offered a refund but instead to wait for more food. We entered a pleasant and clean dining room. This was our first time visiting and when we had questions about the menu the staff was enthusiastic and helpful. We were given a sample of the meat options before we ordered which almost made it harder to pick because it was all good! We ordered the bento box A to go and were pleasantly surprised. All of the food was flavorful and we felt it was a great value for the price. After we ordered I noticed the soda fountain which looked fun. Excellent pricing for great quality and quantity with their food. The inside of the eatery is clean and modern without losing its casual vibe. All of the people inside were quick to approach us and teach about the usage of their system. On Saturday at 5pm a friend and myself ordered online and paid for pickup at https://order.toasttab.com/online/mythos'chef-18187-van-buren-boulevard-fvfuo Large Ribeye Beef and Broccoli $11.99 Large Lomo Saltado $13.99 Large Garlic Noodles $5.00 Beef and broccoli was tender and very good as reported by my Thai friend who is a beef eater. She does not typically choose garlic dishes but the noodles were not overpowering, and more than fine for her. I knew that Lomo Saltado is a prized Peruvian dish made primarily from thick sliced high end beef. I picked up a chunk and took a bite revealing a pink center of perfectly cooked exceptionally flavored tenderloin. I knew then I was coming back and she was happy yet secretly jealous. With noodles and main dishes, Thai friend added home cooked steamed rice. Not eating excessively large portions. We will each get three (3) meals, six (6) total from our $34.00 investment in professionally prepared sustenance. Which tastes fantastic! Coming from two (2) Asian food loving snobs. Lower cost than a place like Panda Express, and their food was more plentiful with exceptional taste. Ordered online and picked up to go 15 minutes later. If I ate out that often I could easily see going here once per week, definitely once per month or at a minimum when we are passing through the area and not going for ribs or a steak dinner at Renes in Moreno Valley. read more

I don't hate this restaurant, and I really appreciate the willingness to incorporate a vegan friendly menu. However, the pho and banh mi missed the mark for me. Summary: The price was fair for the quantity, but I think the limited space and corresponding reduced selection keeps interesting menu choices offered elsewhere to maybe one or two items, of which one display, didn't appeal. Friendly cashier though, but if they have a prime time, it's probably mid afternoon.
