We got hungry while hanging out with family in Brooklyn and decided to try Mole based on the convenient location. We started with a round or margaritas which were a bit overpriced and lacking in flavor. For appetized w shared the Queso fundido, which was good, but came with three tortillas for the large ammounts of melted cheese, we probably ate 1/2 of it and asked for more tortialls to be told they were charged extra. so we could not finish our app before having to pay a premium.. you really cannot eat queso fundido without a tortilla.. For the main I had the enchiladas which were edible but bland. The chips and salsa, are of course priced extra and overall it was a very expensive meal for the quality of food. Would probably visit a different restaurant the next time

We went to Mole on Mexican Independence Day and it did not disappoint, the food was delicious . The Parrilla has steak, chicken, pork chops, chorizo, queso. The steak was great, the season was like no other. The server was very friendly and explain all the specials. The margaritas were spot on ($11 during HH). The Camarones a la Mexican was good as well; however I would order the Parrilla over the Camarones a la mexicana. They were playing a lot of Mexican Hits, I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the restaurant. Definitely recommend and will come back!

Like many of my weekend adventures, I get hungry and do a quick search in the local area for some delicious grub. In this case, I was in the mood for Mexican food. My search yielded many options but I decided on Móle, and I'm so glad I did. Móle is located in Williamsburg just off the main strip near the water. I found the restaurant to me quite festive and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and the service is prompt. I enjoyed a few delicious chicken enchiladas and a cold beer. My company enjoyed a steak Burrito. The food was delivered hot and fresh, and certainly prepared/presented in as authentic way as one would expect. My friend and I had no complaints and we both left feeling satisfied having been served generous portions. In the end, I would definitely recommend giving Mole a try. I'm looking forward to a return visit in the very near future.

We came here on a Saturday night -- was definitely very crowded. Would highly recommend making a reservation beforehand. The food and the drinks were good, but nothing spectacular. This is a great spot to come to with a group of friends if you want good / pretty standard Mexican food.

My favorite coconut margarita with a spicy rim and best nachos in the Williamsburg / Greenpoint area. Friendly staff and casual vibes.

Cheesy ground beef enchiladas, rice and refried beans. Spicy, boozy drink.

I've eaten at Móle once. Dinner with a homegirl on a summer night. My enchilada and rice meal was nicely cheesy but bland. The guacamole with my nachos was blah. My margarita was strong and spicy though. The fresh jalapeño slices were a nice touch. If I'm in the area and low on options, I'd give Móle another chance to be better.

Mole is is a cute little Mexican restaurant in Williamsburg nice ambience but food and service left much to be desired. We waited awhile before being acknowledged by the staff. The food was rather bland. Parking in the area is rather rough so if you have plans give yourself time to find parking their is a garage not to far away though

Tip: This is the spot to visit on payday. Nothing on the menu was under $17. For those of you who want to drink, happy hour is from 12-6pm !! Despite the price, the food is delicious. I ordered the steak quesadilla and each bite was not short of steak. The portions are large, so you will be taking leftovers at home.

The food was pretty good not as good as the Mexican food in Florida though. They didn't have queso dip. The waiter brought out a cup full of shredded cheese lol and then took my fajita and melted the shredded cheese on top of it. He tried but they definitely wasn't the queso dip I was talking about lol and the chicken was a bit different and bigger then what I like. Overall it was 3/10. They had clear tents outside with heat which was a plus.

It ended up being a nice spot for a casual catch-up, though with a few mixed impressions. The space itself is cute and very much feels like a neighborhood bar. One of the things we liked most was that they have games available--we ended up playing Scrabble while waiting for our friend to arrive, which made the time go by quickly and added to the relaxed vibe. Happy hour prices are solid, and the fried pickles we shared were decent. I also had a watermelon cocktail that was refreshing and perfectly fine, if not particularly memorable. Service was a bit inconsistent. The bartender wasn't very warm or welcoming to us initially, though that changed once our friend--who is a regular--arrived. Overall, it's a comfortable spot to meet friends and hang out for a few hours, especially on a weekday like Thursday. That said, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I can see why it works well as a local neighborhood hang.

Not too crowded, the wait for a pool table was about 30 minutes, enough for a quick round of shuffleboarding. The games are relatively cheap, and there's so much variety, ping pong and board games. The live jazz is really what sets this place apart from the other pool halls, starting around 7 pm with what seems like maybe the house band and I think they have guests later in the night. It's the perfect atmosphere, fun lighting, lots of grungy writing on the walls, good indie music from the 2010s before the jazz starts. Plus the spacing of the tables is good so you're not constantly bumping into other players, which is a pet peeve of mine. I'm sure it's busier later in the night but it's perfect for an early stop in the evening. Cheap drinks and good deals as well!

It's actually a legacy spot in disguise. This basement used to house Fat Cat, a longtime West Village institution that shut down right before the pandemic, and before that the room itself was a bowling alley, tucked into a 1932 Art Deco building a few steps from Stonewall. Drink selection isn't the draw here, don't come expecting a deep cocktail list. Crowd skews heavily undergrad, and the place is loud, so it's not the spot for an intimate one-on-one or a real group conversation. It's built for a different kind of hang: elbow your way to a table, keep your hands busy, let the noise do the rest. There's also live jazz most nights, which adds a nice layer if you catch it at the right time. Neat place, just know what you're walking into.

The servers were all nice and patiently explaining the menu to us and everyone else. The lighting is a bit dim and the volume is a bit loud but we were able to still hear our party speak. DRINKS: We got the Wagyu old fashioned and the coffee martini. The Wagyu old fashioned was neat. I was left with a finishing note of peanut butter which cut the fat (which was subtle and good). The coffee martini was light and different from other espresso martinis that often have milk. Overall, very balanced and creative drinks. FOOD: We had dinner plans with friends later in the light so we wanted to share small bites. We initially wanted to order the volcano roll to share but the server suggested that two might be better since the tuna was on one side and sticky rice was on the other side, so we didn't get it. We got the shrimp toast instead, along with a mochi French fry and the bw chicken. The shrimp toast was small but probably bigger than what the volcano roll would have been. The flavor was good, with some brightness/citrus in the sauce the shrimp and lobster is mixed in. I was planning on giving this experience four stars for portion size but we really enjoyed the bw chicken so upped it to five stars. (Receipt included in pictures for price reference; September 2026.) The mochi French fry was fun. It had cheddar cheese powder on top and came with a Gochujang aioli that was tasty with a nice amount of spice. The bw chicken was the showstopper - so juicy and tasty! We would definitely come back just for the bw chicken.
