Catering, wow! We got a spread of tacos carnitas, veggie, and chicken from The Deep End for a 30-person picnic in the park, and what amazing compliments we got! Had no idea what to expect when we wandered in here, but it was delightful. We ended up here on karaoke night and while we didn't sing, we had definitely had fun listening to everyone else. This is a pretty basic neighborhood bar, but the food was surprisingly good. My husband and I got a selection of deep fried bar bites and they were all good. We tried the Onion Rings, Chicken Fingers, and Jalapeño Poppers and enjoyed all of it. This is a small bar, and apparently pretty popular, so you may have to wait a few, but it's worth it and definitely a fun night out. read more

Came here during the Autumn Tippler event to try their signature cocktail, The Bad Hombre. My first time ever trying a jalapeño infused cocktail and it was delicious!!! I also ended up ordering the fried pickles to go along with my alcoholic beverage. The pickles were crunchy and juicy ( perfection). I stayed long enough to finish my drink and to order a burger to go. Only outdoor seating was available and the weather was chilly ( not quite enjoyable for me.... after all I'm a summer baby). While I waited for the burger to cook. I decided to redeem the check in offer of a free shot to warm myself up. Definitely was needed. Bruh. So boom. I record a podcast with my homegirls every Wednesday night from 10 pm- 11:30 and afterward we head over to the deep end for them 50 cent wings. I'm black black and I'm very particular about my wings... these are literally the top wings in all of NYC!! Also, Wednesday nights are Karaoke nights!!! The DJ is always super lit AND the singers are sometimes REALLY good. Last night was a blast. Can't wait to be back in a week. I ordered from delivery on Seamless so this review is reflective of that. I ordered 2 beer battered fish tacos and a side of chips and guac. Fish Tacos came with the box dented. Once taco was hanging out of the box the other one was completely flipped upside down with its contents spilled out (see pic). The tacos tasted pretty good. Comparable to Tacombi which you have to go into the city for. My only complaint was there was more batter than fish in the taco which after the way it was delivered further ruined the experience for me. Chips and guac was good. Guac is nothing super amazing on its own but it is tasty (I added cayenne and some more salt and it was poppin) and they give you a ton of chips that are fresh so definitely worth the value and I can appreciate that aspect. Overall I'm not sure I would order delivery again from here even though the food is tasty. Tacos were salvagable but I would hate to see what a burger would look like. read more

I came here for the first time my friend was DJing for St Patrick's Day. It had a great atmosphere and we all had a great time. I later came for Tacos and I was in heaven. The carnitas, peanut curry pulled pork and the Beer battered fish taco were all amazing!!! My favorite night to go there is Taco Tuesday, they have 2 tacos and a margarita for $10. I had my 40th birthday there and everything was perfect! I booked the bar for my private party- it was the perfect size for it. I have no experience with throwing parties. Jon (the bar owner) was so accommodating. All correspondence was efficient and he always responded in a timely manner. His initial emails were full of information about the venue and options available. There is nothing worse than pulling teeth for details. I was allowed to add my own themed decor for my party. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I'm currently writing this review in between vomiting that's how bad it was. I ordered Southern Comfort Sandwich and slice of cake. I have no idea how the cake tasted, I gave it to my roommate. I never got a chance to make it. The chicken breast was dark. It looked burnt, when I bit into it I could tell that they cooked it with the heat too high. The actual meat was dried out. Between that and the breading. It tasted like actual dog food. It had like a pound of pickles wrapped in in a blanket of mayo. Just gross. After two bites (I took all the pickles off and gave it one last shot) I tossed the food out. Fast forward to 4 am I wake up with the worst pain ever. By 4:30 I started throwing up and currently (it's 5:26) I haven't stopped yet. I'm going to the hospital. I came here on a saturday night around 9pm. We just happened to stumble upon it while driving looking for a place to eat and maybe have a drink and listen to cool music. I yelped it and saw great reviews so we decided to check it out. I dont know if a cover charge is just on the weekends or if its a regular thing but I took off a star for that, it was $6 per person and $10 after 10pm..now I would understand a cover charge if the place is packed full with people but there was nobody in there, so to charge people a cover is kind of ridiculous. We had already parked the car and were starving so we just paid but I dont think we'll be coming back. I really liked the food, i ordered the chicken tacos and my boyfriend ordered chicken tenders with curly fries and it was super delicious and the service was great but I just dont want to spend $12 to get in to just eat food. read more
