He was able to get someone to come by the apartment (even though I gave them short notice) and I thought the price quoted were pretty reasonable. Damon was also very responsive and answered any questions I had quickly. The cleaner who came by was nice, professional, and got the job done well. The apartment looks great! I plan on booking with them again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if you're looking for a cleaning service.

Although initially upset, we actually hit the jackpot. Marilyn arrived on time and went right to work. She was extremely professional and pleasant. She cleaned methodically and thoroughly. This was not an easy job because the house had been neglected and vacant for some time but Marilyn was not deterred. I would definitely hire Green Maids again.

It had been a while since this place got a thorough cleaning, so it was time to bring in some professionals. It was easy enough to set up an appointment via their website. You can pay via Paypal. When I had used them previously, they did not charge extra for cleaning the refrigerator or for me having two pets in the house. Now, it is $10 extra for the refrigerator and $15 per dog. I just arranged it so that my dogs would be gone to their grooming appointments during the time the cleaning service would be in the apartment. I paid the extra $10 to have the refrigerator cleaned and oh, they also charge an extra $10 to do dishes which they did not charge extra for in the past. I have a dishwasher, so I just made sure the dishes were clean and that the sink was clear. Anyway, the ladies arrived on time. They did not bring any cleaning supplies (even though they do give you an option to have them bring their cleaning supplies on their website form). You must have a mop, broom and bucket for them to use. They did not bring gloves or any other cleaning supplies. Good thing, I do have my own stash as well as sponges and rags for them to use. We left them to their work. Oh and before I left, I had to sign some sort of time sheet and which had a spot where you rate the service...this has to either be filled out BEFORE they complete the cleaning or after but in front of the cleaning lady. No..I just left that part blank. Plus, since I was leaving the apartment and not going to be back before they were done, there is no way for me to know how long they were actually in the apartment. The agreed upon price for 4 hours of cleaning is $80 plus tax and then the extra $10 for cleaning the refrigerator out. That came out to approximately $97. I came back later on to an apartment that was definitely cleaner than the way I left it. They did an all right job, but the floor was not as shiny as I expected it, I still saw a couple of smudges that I had to get out myself on the wood floors. Also, they did a half ass job on the dusting as well. There's still quite a bit of dust left on the the entertainment center. The worst part was the refrigerator. How is it that the refrigerator had a putrid odor coming from it after it had supposedly been cleaned?? It did not smell at all before I left, how is it that it smelled after?? We investigated closely and found that some rotting food was left in there and they did not wipe down or clean the refrigerator thoroughly. I had to do that myself AND I paid extra for that! Not good. Overall, they did an all right job, the bathroom was cleaned well and so was the bedroom. I wasn't impressed though and will probably just try out the cleaning service my building recommends for the next time.

I paid for a spring cleaning and I certainly did not get that. Spring cleaning was to include the emptying of cabinets fridges etc... These ladies got around to only surface work (washing dishes, cleaning the tub and sink, mopping, folding clothes) that was pretty much it. I don't think they moved slow... I just dont think that 3 hrs was enough time alotted for a "Spring Cleaning". I truly wanted a meticulous team and they just weren't it. They didn't put things back in their place. The folding was like that of a 5yr old just learning to do chores and the dishwashing... Lawd... Might has well just left them dirty. Overall, my place "looked" neat but that's not what I paid for. Andrew's responses were friendly and prompt -- even on a Sunday -- and he scheduled his handyman, Derrick, to perform the requested tasks within several days of our introduction. Derrick was punctual (he buzzed our apartment at 10:01am for our 10:00am appointment), was thoughtful in his work (he offered excellent suggestions when I was undecided about the placement of certain items), troubleshot issues (like when we discovered that The Container Store -- or I -- had calculated the wrong length for the Elfa Easy Hang Standards), and maintained a genuinely friendly demeanor over the course of 7 solid hours of work (despite working straight through lunch). He took his time with meticulous tasks, but I never once got the sense that he was lingering. I am pretty understanding and had no time constraints so I was not bothered by the late arrival ( approx 15 min), but I was a little shocked when she started wrapping up early ( she didnt want to be late for her next client....lucky them) So technically, I lost about 20-25 min of service time. She pretty much did everything I asked, except for inside of the fridge. Nothing was perfect, but a good job none-the-less.
