2nd reply to owner: Donald- Lina contacted me for payment I called her and left her a message--- because again, no one picked up the phone. Yesterday there was a slight mix up where the cleaner had trouble getting in my building. I was in the phone with Lina trying to figure out where she was. When I found her I asked Lina to hold on while I got my credit card. She said let me call you back. When she called me back she asked how the cleaning was going and if I wanted the additional hour. I said no that I didn't think It would be necessary. She said ok and I offered her my groupon and was ready to pay the balance, she took the groupon and said thank you and that was that. read more

I bought a Groupon for Wholly Cleaning because well I am for lack of a better word a Slob and I just walked into my apartment and it looks unbelievable. Don was helpful and e-mailed me well in advance that to clean my messy apartment it would take longer than two hours, I was unfortunately on the road an unable to get back to him in time and I can only imagine what this place would look like if they had more time. As a guy in Manhattan - I might have the cleanest bathroom in NYC right now. Below par cleaning experience. My roommate and I have some friends visiting and wanted to make sure our apartment looked sparkly clean when they arrived. We found this place on Yelp and gave them a call. Don answered the phone and was so sweet and helpful which made us really excited for the service. We used the Yelp deal, which is a steal (50 dollars for 4 hours of cleaning). He scheduled our cleaning for the next day. The lady (I didn't get her name) came today to do the service. I will say that she did a good job of cleaning the floors. The bathroom was cleaned to a bare minimum, hair left in the shower, window seal not wiped down, etc. She ended up cleaning the kitchen well but it's a bit awkward that she asked if we wanted it cleaned. If my roommate wasn't here to answer her what would have even gotten done. To name some things that weren't even touched: window seals weren't even wiped clean of dust, mirrors were not cleaned, furniture was not wiped free of dust, beds not made, etc. I feel like all we paid for was floor cleaning, a quick cleaning of the bathroom, and a kitchen cleaning that we had to ask her to do essentially. We bought a LivingSocial to use this weekend before our guests arrive on Monday and we're so glad we picked Wholly Cleaning. Lucy arrived bright and early this morning and she did an amazing job. Our bathroom, despite the presence of a large space craft shaped litter box, is sparkling. She did a great job on our floors and improvised with what we had on hand. I can't say enough good things about Lucy. The whole process of booking was simple and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a deep clean. read more

The worst. Got the groupon. Was impossible to schedule, and got no confirmation of the time I proposed until an hour before. The person showed up an hour early and refused to scrub floors, clean refrigerator, clean chords, or clean the microwave. She broke my brand new mop and was texting on the job and had a horrible attitude overall. I would never use this service again, stay away. read more

I bought a Groupon because trying to manage my 13mo old daughter while being 8 months pregnant means my home looks like a war zone! I wish I had bought more. The price was just right and the service was awesome. They always showed up on time and cleaned everything that I asked! I'm a cleaning buff myself I like everything perfect they came into my house and I have a couple of businesses as well I had them clean they were great &They were very professional i didn't have to stand over and watch them. Customer service is absolutely fantastic! I was so impressed with their help and commitment to customer satisfaction. I was not originally happy with my cleaning and called Don. he was very quick to correct and eager to give a second try. They will literally make sure the cleaning is done to your complete satisfaction or-they will keep coming back. Really terrible Cleaning experience . . . Wholly Cleaning is very very unreliable. Good luck scheduling any service -- they will take your money (via LivingSocial) - and sit on it for weeks, without confirming an actual date to provide home/apartment cleaning. They have left me hanging 4x since my original voucher purchase -- one of these occasions was before a large Super Bowl party, when a thorough cleaning was agreed to, days in advance. I couldn't be more disappointed. Please avoid this service at all costs -- super super flakey. Thanks. read more

Wholly Cleaning cleans on our office every 2 weeks for over a year now. They have sent several different people through the year who have been professional and diligent with cleaning. Russell is our main rep and is easy to work with if you need extra cleaning or if there is a scheduling change. I recommend the Deep Clean service they offer-we get one every few months. They send 3 or 4 people and clean absolutely everything! Then the regular cleanings keep an overall polish. read more

I got a deal for Wholly Cleaning through Groupon and was very happy with the cleaning done in my apartment. The gentleman who came was very professional and did a very thorough job. I appreciated that before moving onto a new area he would ask if I was happy with the one he just finished. He expressed that he and the company have very high standards for a job well done, and I think it really showed.
