I used the Yelp feature of getting bids from multiple companies. I wasn't sure it would work. It turned out better than expected. I conducted the entire transaction via text. Spotless was not the cheapest choice; I discarded that one. But it was priced reasonably. They showed up a bit later than expected, but it was fine. I assumed if I wasn't the first appointment, I should build in leeway. I wasn't in the unit. They sent before and after photos. I went back the next day. They did such a good job, I wanted to tip. After finding Spotless Cleaning through the Request A Quote feature, I spoke with the owner Ada and confirmed the cost for my space and we booked a time for 2 ladies to come to my apartment. The women who cleaned my apartment were punctual (actually early!) and very friendly. They loved my cat! They worked for about 4 hours and did a very nice job. I didn't give a full 5 stars because although my apartment is very nice and clean, I specifically was looking for a deeper clean which I don't think I received. I would certainly use the service again because they did excellent work, there was just a disconnect between what I would consider to be a normal cleaning and a deep clean. read more

They worked amazing, honestly will be booking them again for when I have to do another deep cleaning. So far, I have used the service three times. Once for deep cleaning and twice for biweekly maintenance. I am very satisfied with the thoroughness of their work. My stainless steel appliances GLEAM! I have wood floors that I have tried to clean myself, and always have footprints. I don't know what they do, but there aren't any footprints all the way up until the next time they come. I contacted Ada for a deep clean as we have an apartment that needed work done prior to the arrival of a new tenant. We specifically mentioned to Ada and the cleaners that we need focus on the interior and exterior of the refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. Ada's crew came on time and were very friendly. They brought all of their own materials which was also nice. I reminded them of the areas that needed extra focus and let them work as I didn't want to hover the entire time. An hour or so later I went to check in and it looked like they were making good progress. There were a few areas I spotted that needed to be looked at again and asked if they can let me know when they're done so I can take a look at the work. Another hour or so later and I realize that they left without letting me know. No worries, so as long as they got the job done. Unfortunately this is where things take a turn. Upon inspection of the areas I told them to focus on I see very visible grease stains, dirt that was never cleaned, on areas that were substantial and large that it baffles me how they could ignore it - just to reiterate this wasn't a few small areas. At this point Ada texts me asking how the job went and I relayed the message. She kindly mentioned that she would be happy to resend the cleaner the following day. I appreciated the gesture but just given the lack of attention to large areas I didn't want to take her up on the offer. We ended up spending an extra 2-3 hours cleaning ourselves - that's about the amount of time they spent on the entire job. So to summarize, Ada and her staff are friendly folks but the cleaning is definitely not spotless and not worth it given the cost. I hope the photos paint the story. read more

Ada reached out to me after my previous review, offered to send someone out to finish the job, and scheduled it promptly. I figured this time, they know exactly what they're in for, so no excuses, and I promised to evaluate them and update the review accordingly. I can fairly say the apartment was cleaner than the first time, especially the corners and windowsills. But while the kitchen and bathroom got a lot of attention, the issue *here* as I noted before really was the dust, and I just can't say that dusting is this company's forte. At the end she was asking if she missed anything, and it was like, well, the radiator is full of dust bunnies, the window tracks are grimy, this shelf hasn't been dusted, that other shelf hasn't been dusted, this table was dusted but not under or over the items on it... all of which was addressed, but eventually I gave up trying to point things out and decided to finish the dusting myself later. I mean, if I have to spend this much time on it, I might as well be doing it myself. (I also found after she left that the kitchen sink looked a bit stained, which I easily fixed with the correct product--baking soda--in about 30 seconds... it's all about paying attention.) To be clear, the apartment is an old unit with lots of nooks and crannies and crookedness; it will never look perfect. But there's a difference between beat-up and dirty, and I'm just looking for it being clean and beat-up rather than dirty and beat-up. I'm giving them an extra star for the effort and for easy scheduling, but my honest evaluation is that while they might be fine for day-to-day cleaning in an uncluttered modern apartment, and are a good option if you need someone scheduled quickly, I can't recommend for a deep clean of a lived-in old apartment, particularly if it needs dusting. read more

Spotless Cleaning Services did a fantastic job cleaning my apartment and lived up to their name. They were very responsive, gave me a fair price, and were on time and very professional. The unit was free of debris but pretty dirty, so the standard cleaning of wiping everything down, mopping, cleaning all bathrooms, and degreasing the kitchen and appliances was done. They went above the call of duty as they removed all soiled floor areas of doghair and removal of pet smell. Had to buy some cleaning liquids and paid a bit more for cleaning walls but overall very happy given my situation as the place is absolutely cleaned. Her team member was there on time and did a beautiful job deep cleaning the apartment. Very disappointed. Have used cleaning companies many times and this one was way overpriced for the terrific job they did. When I called customer service to so if there would be any retribution. The Manager went on for 20 minutes about cleaning and their 24 hour time limit to report any dissatisfaction. I purchased a home and when the seller left, I just wanted it cleaned, top to bottom. I now have to clean everything over again as they did a terrible job. Sometimes it's good business to understand the customer is always right. read more
