I have been consistently getting my lashes done so when I compared LaLa Lashes to other lash lounges in terms of how long it stays, this place loses. Lashes started coming off the next day but it was just a couple so it didn't impact the overall look. After 1 week, the lashes look messy - going in all directions. If this was my first time, then I wouldn't have any expectations but it isn't so I am quite disappointed with the results. Maybe this is the norm in Toronto but the ones I've done in Boston and New York stayed on and in a manageable fashion for weeks.

There are different technicians, but everyone is excellent. They're perfectionists and meticulous. I can tell them what I'm looking for - and they'll definitely deliver. Unlike other eyelash extension places, they always understand what I want before putting lashes on me. Best of all, these lashes LAST. The full look lasts around 3 weeks for me (Which is a miracle. Heidi made sure to explain the process fully and carefully created the colour that I was looking to achieve. To help her with the colour I had in mind, I brought the lip tint that I normally used. She then crafted the colour with her pigments and ensured that I was happy with the colour prior to applying it. Keeping in mind that everyone's pain tolerance level is different, I did not feel uncomfortable or in pain during the actual process (numbing cream was used before the process begun). Heidi made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire lip blushing process. Upon completion, she thoroughly explained the healing and aftercare process. Again, keeping in mind that everyone's skin will react differently, my lips were pretty swollen after. However, as advised by Heidi, the swelling subsided after 2 days and the whole healing process took about 6 days for all the scabs to come off. Thank you Heidi for doing such a wonderful job!

While browsing places to get microblading done for my mom, I came across Oh My Lash and Brow on Yelp. What stood out the most, were the before and after pictures of Heidi's previous clientele. Add in the $250 for $450 voucher and the relative close distance to my house, and I was sold. Next, it was easy calling in and making an appointment for the next day; and Heidi gave useful directions over the phone, for getting to her unit number within the plaza - she is located on the second floor; & once you get up the stairs, there are large signs above each door in the hallway letting you know of which business is which. The overall process took about 3 hours, with the majority of the time being spent on the pre-procedure tasks including: initial information session on microblading, consultation, and sketching of the eyebrows. My mother is a very picky woman so they had to be perfect before we could move on haha - I appreciate Heidi's patience. The actual procedure took anywhere from 30-60 minutes and a lot of numbing agent is applied to the area before and during the procedure to eliminate any pain sensations. Heidi also continually checked in with my mom asking her if she was ok and/or feeling any pain. Another great point to mention was Heidi's obvious knowledge and experience performing this procedure. She gave us plenty of information in the beginning regarding risks, signs of infection to look for following the procedure, and she was sure to explain the sterility of the microblading tools she would be using. [Cool to note that she even staples the freshly opened package to each client's consult form.] With my mom and I both being nurses, we were very happy to see that detail and attention were put into the health safety of the procedure, which involves needles and the breakage of skin, therefore carrying a high potential of transmission of infections. Overall, my mom and I were very happy with the results, the entire process and this wonderful microblading experience with Heidi. She gifted us with another voucher to help spread the word and I will definitely be sure to pass it to a friend. It is well worth the time and money spent! Bio-Gel Refill - $40 cash ($45 if you use card) Mr. Manager asked me if it was my first time and i replied yes, he then informed me to next time make an appointment because they are an appointment only nail salon. True, still very few women beauticians are brave enough to invade man's private parts for the purpose of man-scaping, but some younger generation of beauticians don't subscribe to that stigma. One such ladies, a unique lady in her field in my opinion, is R i t a . A young woman who really loves what she does, Rita has no hang-ups when it comes to dealing with men's genitalia. She treats those private parts as you would other members of the body: hands, shoulders, ears, etc. And, more importantly and rightfully so, she is proud of her results. I've been having my back, shoulders, underarms and Brazilian waxed regularly as I travel a lot, mainly to naturist establishments. The woman who waxed me was super professional, loved her work, and did a great job. But I found myself always trying to space out the treatment sessions. Now I know why: the pain of waxing. Waxing in some areas of the body feels like torture. Thankfully, once upon a time, a couple of months ago, my travel plans changed, and I needed to wax on a Monday and fly out on Tuesday. I discovered that my wonderful waxer didn't work on Mondays. I had no choice but to surf the web, in search of someone that inspires trust and who works on Monday.
