Great addition to Nexton. Good date night vibe and generous servings for takeout. Delicious food, though a bit bland given the varied, street food inspired menu. Excellent service with nice people.

My mom and I had a reservation, but when we walked in at 5 pm it was pretty empty. Though, quickly as the evening went on the restaurant became packed. The inside of the restaurant is decorated nicely and added to the experience for sure. There only seemed to be two-three workers working as both servers and hosts, but they worked very well and made sure everyone was attended to. Our server was able to give menu recommendations and accommodated my request to add chicken to my dish after I already ordered. My mom and I ordered the Shrimp Korma, Chicken Saag, and Garlic Naan to share. She also ordered a Masala Chai that I sipped and was in love with. All the dishes had incredible flavor, and both the chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The rice was not the best basmati rice I have had, but the dishes themselves were exceptional so I did not mind. The portions are also sizable, which is great for sharing and for leftovers. Considering the prices, you do get a lot of food for your money, which is great. I highly recommend trying out Naan at Nexton if you are in the mood for a tasty and unique meal!

Definitely a great spot. It's not a beautifully decorated as the Mount Pleasant spot, but still very nice. It's clean. What's really cool are the staff. They were so friendly and nice. I loved talking to our server. She was lovely! The menu is the same as the other Naans. Great food! My favorite are the meat samosas. So good! I'm glad Nexton has an Indian spot!

My hubby and I were in our way to eat next door at Ruby's bagels when we smelled the delicious smells coming from Naan. We quickly changed our minds and saw a large buffet with a huge variety of Indian foods! My favorite was the chicken masala paired with roti! I tried dishes I never heard of and they were all delicious. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were seated quickly! Def recommend!

As previously married to an Indian husband, and being well versed in the yummy food, I can tell you this place is legit! My ex-mother in law would have approved. The samosas and pakora apps were spot on. My biryani and garlic naan were perfect. The others had a paneer entree and butter chicken that were prepared very well. We were full and skipped dessert and came home w plenty of leftovers. Service was timed well. The waiter was able to help steer decisions and determine spice level. And the atmosphere was great. There is nothing negative I can even say! I will definitely be back.....this week, I'm sure!! Since I need some halwa and gulab jamon!!

Great addition to the Nexton restaurant collection. Opening day celebration with a great buffet Being customers of the Northwoods Butter chicken is my favorite but all other item in the menu are just as good Will become a regular This place is going to do well in this location unlike some others that are popping in the area. Can't say much about service because I went for lunch but apparently they were ready for a crowd on opening day. There is a full bar and I didn't count but there must be about 15 tables and maybe four or five stools at the bar, the place looks clean and inviting

Spice Alert! I absolutely loved this experience and everything was packed with flavor. There's is so much to explore, I'll be coming back for more. I just want to warn anyone, if you do not like any kind of spice.. this is not a place for you. Their least spiciest dish is the butter chicken and my guests still found it to be too spicy for their pallet. They do ask your spice tolerance when ordering but that may still not be enough.

I've been to the original location but this was newly open in Nexton so we came here for date night. We were pleasantly surprised by this experience! The dining room is clean and beautiful. They offer a lot of seating and it wasn't super busy for a Monday night. Their menu had so much variety and dishes I've never heard of before but was excited to try. I picked out a white and red for us to try, Indian which I've never had before as a Somm. Personally, I do not recommend and did not enjoy the flavor profiles of them. However, they were drinkable and didn't ruin our experience. The dosa, OMG - HUGE! Crispy, light and flavorful. You get little bites of diced onion, garlic and herbs on the inside and all the dipping sauces offered. It was a great appetizer to start with. It was so hard to pick but we went with the chicken tikka dry with the sauce on side along with the Vindaloo curry. Holy cow I was in flavor town heaven. Every bit was packed with tons of spices and flavored perfectly. Then you take a piece of the garlic naan and dip it into the sauce and I was in heaven. One critique I do have is at times I would bite into these chunks of anise or some clove of some sort and that was overwhelming. But overall they cook some amazing Indian food here. The staff were so friendly and did a great job throughout our experience. We cannot wait to go back now that this location is so much closer to our house!

I've had Naan before at a baby shower I attended so I knew that everything would be amazing and it WAS! The service was awesome! And the restaurant itself was beautiful. When my daughters and I walked in the door, we were greeted not only by the hostess but also the aromatics. It smelled devine! I'm a gluten-free girly so I was thoroughly excited to see so many GF options. I hadn't been feeling well for about a week so the Man Chow Soup (the veggie option) is what I chose to start off my dinner and it was indeed the RIGHT choice. Your girl's belly felt AUH-MAZING! I felt like I could have been home sitting on my couch, wrapped in a blanket watching sappy movies as I sipped on my soup in other words I felt COMFORT! My oldest daughter had been to the Northwoods location before so she ordered a little of everything for us to eat and we weren't disappointed! Can't wait to go back!

Stopped here for dinner on our way to Columbia and had a great meal. We tried the malai kofta, dal makhani, and chicken curry--all were flavorful and well-prepared. The ambiance was warm and inviting. There was a long wait, which is probably expected on a busy Friday night--we waited about 40-45 minutes after putting our name down. I asked for a side salad of raw onions with lemon and chili, and they were kind enough to accommodate the request. The service was attentive, and Mayur even stopped by to check in on our experience, which was a thoughtful touch. Both Mayur and Sharad (I understand is the owner) were very hospitable

We absolutely love Naan! The food is fantastic whether it's take out or dining in. I crave their butter chicken often!! If you like Indian food this is a must try.

Decided to try this location as I am a regular at their location in North Charleston. Figured it would be the same, but I was surprised to see that it wasn't. On arrival, we stood around for a few minutes while it appeared the hostesses were trying to figure out togo orders. We were then sat at the table closest to the host stand which was not a good location for a table. The wife kept getting bumped and nothing like having people waiting for a table being next to you. The food took some time and didn't taste as good as it did at their other location....I give it grace for being new, but it will be a while before I visit again to give them time to work out the kinks!

Looking for a Chinese buffet today, the map gave me a buffet choice of Naan. I'm very happy that I tried it, because it was truly amazing. Not just the flavors in the taste, this Indian buffet with straight up only Indian food was delicious. I will now drive home in a near comatose state in need of a nap. If you are on a health kick, and you are only eating one meal a day (OMAD), which I am trying to get into the routine of, I can see myself coming here again for my one meal!

The Chicken Vindaloo had good spice, but the portion was disappointing -- I only got three pieces of chicken and two pieces of potato. The app tacos appetizer also weren't the same as they used to be. They previously featured a fried wonton wrapper with Chicken saucy Shizusan chicken, but whatever changes were made really missed the mark and ruined what used to be a favorite. Overall, the service could have been much better. I'd really love to see the restaurant return to the previous menu and quality. We won't be back.

Cardamom whispering secrets in the corner. Menu too big. Brain too small. Butter chicken staring at me like it KNOWS me. Vindaloo threatening my future. Saag paneer glowing green like it's radioactive but in a comforting way. I order too much. Always too much. Curry math is fake anyway. Food arrives. Time stops. Sauce everywhere. Rice soaking it up like a sponge that trained for this moment its entire life. First bite: boom--warm, rich, spiced, comforting, slightly aggressive. Second bite: why am I sweating? Third bite: I would defend this curry in court. Naan shows up late but forgivable because it's soft, pillowy, and clearly designed to shovel curry into my face faster. Garlic naan specifically--because I respect myself. Curry on the naan. Curry on the plate. Curry on my soul. Everything is curry now. I am curry-adjacent. By the end I'm full, euphoric, mildly confused, and absolutely convinced I could eat here twice a week and never emotionally recover--but in a good way. Taste of India isn't subtle. It's not quiet. The food was okay, not bad, but not particularly memorable either. It satisfied the craving, but it wasn't my favorite Indian food in the area. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself left a lot to be desired. The outside looked fairly rundown, and the open sign wasn't even on despite them being open. Inside, there were only 2 other customers, but the restaurant felt a bit neglected. I noticed some areas that could have been cleaner, including what appeared to be mold on part of the ceiling. The staff also didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, which made the experience feel less inviting. Overall, the food was decent, but the atmosphere and service made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. I don't regret trying it, but I'll probably stick with Spice Palette when it's open.
