Good eating. The service was excellent since we did sit outside. They never forgot about us. It was nice to have a patio to sit in that was not so crowded.

We wanted soup and an appetizer for dinner, we stopped by Naan Indian Restaurant. We went on Saturday evening, and the restaurant was quite busy. We got seated, but it took about 10 minutes for the server to bring the menu. After looking it over, we waited another 10 minutes before server finally took our order. We ordered the Chicken Man Chow Soup, Street Style Fried Rice, and Nimbu Soda from the menu. First, the Man Chow Soup and Nimbu Soda arrived. The Man Chow Soup was really good, delicious, and tasty. The Nimbu Soda was also great. Both soup and soda were good. Then we had the Street Style Fried Rice, which wasn't quite what we were expecting from fried rice.

I was craving Indian food so tried Naan for the first time during lunch on a weekday. Service was very friendly and food came out piping hot. I got a vegetable samosa, dosa, and mango lassi. The mango lassi was sweet and creamy - always a treat! The vegetable samosa was nicely fried, large in size, and packed full of vegetables and potatoes. I enjoyed the sauce it came with. This was my first dosa and it was definitely a show stopper! Huge lentil crepe and sooo crispy, filled with seasoned potatoes, and delicious dipped with the chutneys and curry. I love the lentil flavor and it's so satisfying to eat. I would love to come back - great food and great people! They definitely deserve more business.

I picked up take out from Naan over the weekend. I sat at the bar while waiting for the food to come out. The whole restaurant was quite nice inside and the bar area was cool. The staff were very friendly as well! I got the paneer butter masala - it was very good and creamy. I ordered spicy but it wasn't too hot, if you like spicy I'd suggest to pick something a level higher than you normally do. Overall I really liked Naan and next time I'll plan to eat at the restaurant.

The butter chicken and jerra rice were delicious. The staff was so nice and polite. The ambience was cultural and fitting for Indian cuisine.

This restaurant is delicious! Stumbled upon it over the summer and made sure to go back tonight while we were in town. They are the only place I know from here at up to Wilmington that has Dosas! I used to get Dosa's in NY all of the time. Once we moved to South Carolina, I never saw them again in a menu. This place has amazing food, great service and a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely return!

We've been to Naan multiple times now, and truly enjoy the authentic Indian food. Their menu is large and has many options for all. The restaurant has a nice outside seating area that is very appealing and the inside is pleasant. My favorite appetizers have been the samosa, pakora, and okra fries. Sadly the garlic shrimp disappointed as the shrimp were not crispy (ie: fried) but just sauteed. There are multiple entrees to choose from, and we've enjoyed the street style fried rice, Andara chicken curry and lamb Rogan Josh. Be sure to order a side of naan or roti. The -1 star is due to service, as it's never been engaging and the service lags out on time. But Naan is a great local Indian restaurant and you should check it out.

Naan in Mt. P is fantastic. Our server, Nikita (hopefully the spelling is correct!), was amazing and made sure we were comfortable the entire time there--big shout out to her! We had 6 people sharing dishes--from the top of my head I remember: veggie samosas, gobi manchurian, dosa, goat curry, chicken biryani, fish curry, garlic naan, chicken korma, and rogan josh. Pictures attached below in case I got it wrong. All the dishes were delicious. I hadn't eaten goat for years and was super excited to try to the goat curry--it didn't disappoint. Highly recommend this place. Also--the dishes heat up quite well for leftovers if you can't finish them. I recommend coming with friends/family and sharing everything!

Naan was a great place to try all things Indian! They went above and beyond to make sure service was excellent. The staff was attentive and helpful. The menu is so big and a little overwhelming so don't be afraid to ask questions. We sat indoors and it was nicely decorated. We tried samosas, butter chicken, and garlic cheese naan! Everything was fantastic!

Butter chicken. Chicken Tikka Masala. Naan. It's ALL amazing! All the dishes at Naan are authentic and full of flavor. The portions are generous and large enough to be shared if you get an appetizer as well. Make sure you make a reservation or go early, because this place fills up fast. If you like Indian food, or haven't really ever tried it, Naan will not disappoint!

AMAZING!! This was the best Indian food we've ever had. The vegetable samosas were the only ones I've ever had that compare to what my coworker's Indian mother makes. The chicken biryani was so tender and flavorful, the best we've had. The baigon bharta was also excellent. The service was friendly, and it was very well decorated inside. We will be back!

Tucked into a shopping strip, naan has a cute curb appeal and an outdoor eating patio. Make reservations for weekends as their indoor seating is limited. We enjoyed the butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassi! Will be back to try their other menu items.

This is a really beautiful restaurant, visually very attractive. There's outdoor seating, an indoor dining area, and a stunning bar. The food was not bad, a little on the spicy side, but flavors were pretty standard Indian from my experience. Nothing particularly stood out to me, but all was good. Portion sizes are quite large. I would suggest to the restaurant to offer some lunch specials. Service was a bit on the slower side, but I'm not complaining if things are made fresh to order. Staff was kind.

To start the interior decor and vibe is beautiful, with multiple seating options and a quaint bar. We started with the crispies sampler, which had 8 different sauces to try. Their cocktail menu is full of original drinks, and the Udyana was my favorite. This delicious cocktail has Jiji Indian dry gin, with tamarind, and pomegranate honey. Another favorite cocktail enjoyed was the Holi trinity, a unique creative twist on a margarita. Our dinner was fabulous, it is just that easy. For starters we enjoyed the tandoori oysters, pan seared meen fry, and the best one was the cauliflower manchurian. Our table then had the Dhaba lamb curry, prawns pista korma, cochin scallops, and butter chicken. We each shared bites and were blown away with each dishes flavor. It was a great way to experience the different flavors each dish had to offer. Service was top notch all night. The best part was the owner(or manager) was present and visited out table multiple times. We appreciated the cordial service and followup to our experience. Rivayat is an original in Charleston, and serves well crafted, elevated Indian food that all can enjoy. Just like Spice Palette, we would recommend this restaurant to all to enjoy.

We ordered drinks which were enjoyed and had fun variations from their original counterparts like the Chai espresso martini topped with cardamom pods. For the food, a must is the tandoori oysters. Coming from someone who is not a fan of oysters, I tried it and was blown away and would order again and again. I actually enjoyed this oyster! I paired my last piece with some of the kulcha and just wow. The kulcha had a nice garlic flavor and you can't go wrong with melted cheese. Lamb vindaloo was delicious, not as spicy as I was hoping for but it was a good spice level for the others who have a more mild palette. I'm usually not a fan of butter chicken either but this was very tasty. Another fan favorite was the Jhinga Mast Mast. Large crispy shrimp with a nice little fresh slaw on the side. I usually eat shrimp tails if they're fried / crispy and these were great dipped in the sauce of the lamb vindaloo and butter chicken. I will absolutely be back!!

The food was okay, not bad, but not particularly memorable either. It satisfied the craving, but it wasn't my favorite Indian food in the area. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself left a lot to be desired. The outside looked fairly rundown, and the open sign wasn't even on despite them being open. Inside, there were only 2 other customers, but the restaurant felt a bit neglected. I noticed some areas that could have been cleaner, including what appeared to be mold on part of the ceiling. The staff also didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, which made the experience feel less inviting. Overall, the food was decent, but the atmosphere and service made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. I don't regret trying it, but I'll probably stick with Spice Palette when it's open.

Upon…read moredoing research, there really isn't much choice when it comes to Indian food in Myrtle Beach, as there's 2 places that have been around for years, but only seem to have mediocre reviews. Google reviews for Ginger Garlic seemed great, so decided to roll the dice with them, and am glad I did. The owner/waiter was super friendly, and explained that they had just opened in August 2024. The interiors are a bit plain looking and the walls could use a bit more decoration, but are otherwise welcoming and clean. A great selection of Indian music was playing in the background to add to the atmosphere. We went with vegetable pakoras, palak paneer, paneer butter masala, & a naan. All the food items were spiced just right, freshly prepared, and were tasty, vastly exceeding my expectations for a Myrtle Beach area Indian restaurant. We also had for dessert rasmalai and gajar halwa, and a masala chai. They also hit the spot (neither of the desserts were too sweet) and were the perfect way to end a delicious meal. Service was attentive and seemed genuinely appreciative of our business and feedback. Even though this restaurant is newer than the more reviewed Indian restaurants in the area that have been around for years, I'm glad I went here as the cook here really knows how to serve up good food, and they're doing all the right things to establish their customer base, setting the bar higher in the Indian food game in the area. I'd definitely recommend Ginger Garlic to others looking for fresh and tasty Indian food in the Myrtle Beach vicinity.

What's with Indian restaurants and their lack of staff? Anyway, we ordered- * Egg fried rice: simple yet tasty * Chili chicken: indo Chinese style dish which was good- 4/5 * Chicken biryani: well, it's not a typical biryani (like dum cooked or any other variance), it's more like chicken pulav (gravy mixed with rice type)- but it was sumptuous. 4/5 They have spicy levels up to 10 and I choose 8. Surprisingly, the food was good, no doubt about that.
