The last straw happened a month ago. I went in and bought a lottery ticket and he went into a tirade about how I only buy lottery tickets when I'm in his store. On and on. Of course, it wasn't true, but it doesn't matter if it's true or not. No one should treat customers like that. There is another convenience store the same distance from my house and 2 more just a bit further. None of the other stores mistreat customers. Well, if he's unhappy with me as a customer, I solved his problem - I'm never stepping foot in there again.

But what it does offer...is a very good selection of wine drinkers' wine, an owner who will give you great advice and offer to order most bottles on your wish list, awesome prices and an excellent case and half case discount. It's not pretentious inside, but the staff is helpful when you need them. The layout is pretty structured (the lower shelf stuff doesn't clog the main aisles). It's just a really solid, inviting place to shop regularly for bottles you love, and bottles you have yet to try. I've been to the majors in the area - Kappy's, Marty's, Gordons, Harrisons, Wegmans, etc. and Westford Wine & Spirits offers me better pricing on more of the bottles I actually buy and is much more convenient. I even had 2 corked bottles that they refunded without question. If I had to nitpick, I would like an expanded Australian section or South African section.
