I couldn't tell. BUT, we double checked o line & it was open. Haha. We were greeted right away, & sat down. It wasn't busy at all at first, but as time went on, more & more people came in. Service was great. Fast. & attentive. Ambiance was great, I enjoyed their playlist. Drinks were good, kind of syrupy for the margaritas, but it was fine. Their happy hour had good options as well. This was actually my fourth time visiting nacho Daddy, and like all the others it was a very pleasant dining experience. As soon as you walk in you're greeded, and as you're coming up to your table, the people behind the bar greet you as well. The decor and the place is nice, I would definitely not say upscale but I wouldn't say super casual either. It actually was very comfortable with plenty of seating options as well as a very large bar area to sit at. We ordered the chips and guac, and the happy hour queso as well. Both were super delicious, and if you are lacking self-control I suggest you watch yourself cuz you want to save up some of the appetite for the main course My girlfriend ordered the Southwest salad and I ordered the burnt end tacos. Both looked very tasty and my tacos were absolutely delicious. I did order a margarita, it was one of their specialty ones. It was a blue hibiscus Margarita with an extra shot. I was a little stunned that it came out to $22, but hey, everything's expensive these days. Overall we had it very pleasant meal, and I am sure we will be visiting back again. Bottom line? If you are ever out and about and are looking for something different, I highly recommend not show Daddy. Supreme Tostada Nachos ($21.95). The plate was heavily coated with sauce, lettuce, beef, and a nice scoop of guacamole. It's a huge portion and definitely enough food for two people. ​The flavors were good, but because it's so loaded with sauce, the chips get soft if you take too long to eat them. My one recommendation to the restaurant would be to serve a side of extra crispy tortilla chips with it. That way, you have enough crunchy chips to scoop up all those heavy toppings at the end. Also got a margarita that came in a very large goblet. One order of nachos and margarita and tip will be $60+. $$$ read more

Came here as a family for the first time this past weekend. Parking was ample, only a few parties seated, and we encountered no wait. We asked to sit outside since the weather was nice. Service was ok, we ran out of drinks at one point and had to wave our server down, and again for a box and the check at the end of our meal. The menu was plentiful - lots of apps, classic tacos/burritos/enchiladas, their nacho selection, desserts, drinks, and a kid's menu. We shared a burrito covered 1/2 and 1/2 in both sauces, filet nachos, corn off the cob, and a kid's chicken quesadilla. Portion sizes were great, no complaints here. My daughter found her quesadilla a bit lacking, both in flavor and in temperature. The burrito was also lukewarm, but the flavors were good and I enjoyed the green sauce significantly more than the red sauce. The nachos were LOADED and very flavorful; somehow they never got too soggy with all the toppings. My personal favorite was the corn off the cob (elote bowl?), but it definitely needed Tajin to up the flavor. Overall we thought the meal was OK, no issues but nothing really outstanding. If we go back I'd probably just focus on sharing nachos and the corn. read more

We came for father's day which is also my brother's birthday. We're 3 adults and a 6 year old, and were told my niece couldn't bring in food. We explained she has allergies doesn't eat anything here. Hostess gave us attitude when we asked if she could check with manager, went and asked someone who wasn't the manager and came back to told us we could wait for the manager but they would probably say the same. read more

This is by far the best location I've ordered from. Usually consistent with take out through Uber Eats. My one and only complaint is they can put a few more chips with the nachos. When you eat a couple from the top the bottom ones are stuck to the foil and get a little mushy. Otherwise no issues. read more

Went for happy hour...wanted to see if it was going to live up to the hype. Entered about 5 pm, and nobody was there, just a few people. The server came over and was very sweet and helpful. Hub wanted some queso with beef and I thought I would try the enchilada mini nachos...both of these went with some nice Mexican lagers. The food was quite good...the queso was great. The mini nachos were good, but I would have preferred the fresh jalapeños vs the pickled ones. I ended up stealing my husband's fresh and pulled off the others....the dish is much better that way. I've lived down the street from Nacho Daddy for so long. I'm not sure why it took me so long to come try it out. We ordered a whole bunch of everything off the menu. Everything was really good. My favorite was the salad. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Oh... just a heads up... the hot sauce has actual scorpion in it not just scorpion peppers. I honestly really enjoyed this food. Maybe it's because I was on a road trip, but the surf and turf nachos were really good. I was worried about getting steak but it was very tasty. It definitely could've used more salsa so we got some more on the side. It was an extra cost which they didn't mention. That was very weird to me since a side of sour cream was free. The person I shared with did not like the nachos as much as I did though. Those are the reasons why I won't give 5 stars. But the apple pie nachos were to die for. It was amazing. The apples were the perfect cook and the flour chips were the perfect edition to make this an amazing dessert. I will probably go back just for that. The host wasn't the friendliest but the server was great. It's not the most family friendly restaurant which is expected in Vegas, but keep that in mind depending on what you want your kids seeing on the TVs. I tried this place for the first time today, and it was a pretty good experience. There were 5 of us, and we were allowed separate checks, which is always the easiest with a group. Our waiter was Anna S. She was very polite and checked on us often. I ordered the french toast, a side of fries, and the mango tango mocktail. The food was pretty good, but that Mocktail was amazing!! Everyone else liked their food and their margaritas. At first, one of my friends ordered the Makers white wine. She said it was terrible, so she took it back and got the watermelon margarita instead, which she said was a lot better. Not a bad first experience. Second time coming here. I love the idea of this place and the scorpion theme is really cool (they have real scorpions kids can look at with black light and my wife also took a shot with a scorpion in it) it makes for a cool vibe. The nachos them selves were very underwhelming. I order the filet mignon nachos as my server said those were the most popular nation wide. Kinda wish I picked something a little more niche. Our server was attentive, friendly, and efficient, which made for a great start to the meal. I ordered the Supreme Nachos. They were very traditional and straightforward tasty overall, but a bit light on the meat and heavier on the beans than I would have preferred. The extra beans caused the chips to lose their crispness pretty quickly. My husband ordered the vegan nachos. The plant-based chicken had a surprisingly good texture, and the vegan queso was flavorful, though slightly runny. The toppings were generous, but unfortunately all the moisture made the chips soggy. I think I would try Nacho Daddy again but try a different type of nacho. I tasted my friend's Thai chicken nachos and they were tasty. The daddy's buffalo wings were pretty good, but I'm not sure they're worth $20 for 8 wings. Maybe come for them during happy hour when it's only $10. As for the surf & turf fajitas, it was awful. Just got into town and saw the "Nachos" sign. Had an inkling for decent nachos. Tough to find good nachos nowadays even in San Diego. Anyways, showed up 10 minutes before closing but they were kind enough to get me a seat at the bar. Ordered their "best" nachos and a lemonade. Very generous portion with lots of toppings. Was expecting carne asada or shredded beef but the "beef" was chili con carne. It was actually very tasty and came with guacamole, sour cream, beans and lots of cheese (canned type not shredded). Service was fantastic and so happy they fed me at closing. My fresh made lemonade stayed full as did my water glass. I'll be back just for the service and hope to have more time to peruse the menu. This was the first time that we went to a Nacho Daddy since the West Sahara location closed, and let me tell you, it surely did not disappoint! We ordered the Nacho of the Month (which came with a free bottle of sauce to take home), Surf & Turf Nachos, and the Queso Dip. I liked that the service was fast and that we were constantly checked by the workers and the manager. The restaurant itself had a great ambiance, and they lowered the lights while we were eating, which made it a calming experience. She gave a clear, easy-to-understand overview of the menu and the restaurant, which made it simple for a first-time guest to decide what to order. She struck the perfect balance of being friendly, attentive, and engaging without ever being overbearing. We were there for lunch but also working, and Wendy seemed to pick up on that right away. Th restaurant seating area seemed a little busy so when they asked us, we chose the bar to save the tables for families. We were sat quickly , but we just sat. Finally we ordered drinks, ordered this pitcher of marg, tasted good but was clearly not a " in house mix"... For food : we ordered tacos to share and a nacho plate ( the waitress was unimpressed) but we weren't starving and then the bar wasn't staffed. I'd go back if : our nachos arrived and waiter said we well get you share plates that showed up when we were done eating. Stop by to pick up an order of nachos and they were really good. They do take a bit to make but I think because I ordered steak. They weren't busy when I got there. You can count the people there. They had 2 big groups and a few by the bar side. I would say be patient don't expect food right away I only ordered one of the nachos and they weren't busy. I want to begin this with the biggest and best take away from our experience at Nacho Daddy. Our server. Our server's name was Liz and she was the star of our dining experience. It's rare nowadays to find good service and Liz knocked it out of the park. Her energy, recommendations, and attentiveness must have guests coming back for more. A guest would be lucky to be sat in her section. Liz you are Ana amazing person!!! I personally loved the open air aspect of this restaurant. The garage door style near the bar and patio made it feel open but the restaurant inside was a perfect temp. The inside was decorated for Halloween and I loved that too. From the yummy $5 margs during happy hour to the spicy shrimp nachos all the food was on point! We also appreciated all the vegan options for our vegan diner.
