Honestly, I've lived in Silverado Ranch area for over 10 years. I don't know why I never stop by here. On 2nd floor of South Point hotel this place has a great Happy Hours. With full bar, great margaritas. One the best margaritas I had in a while. The decor of Mexican inspired. The staffs greeted me right away. Got seated without any wait. I ordered the hot wings, street corn and the margaritas. All for $16.69. Price was so reasonable. Hot wings was so fresh. Perfectly seasoned. I'm definitely coming back.

This place is your 90's ish Mexican restaurant. Reminds me of when I was in high school and we'd go to the Rio or Gold Coast for Mexican food! Tried and true, just all around good for what it is! Service was top notch. Our server was friendly and the food came out fast, especially for a Friday night.

This Mexican restaurant inside South Point casino is large and has lively decor. The service was fantastic! All the servers plus hostesses were very attentive and sat us rather quickly without a reservation. The food was good. The potions very generous. Two fish tacos came with a large piece of fish in each. The dips appetizer was good. The guacamole was fresh. The salsa was just okay as well as the bean dip but the chips were tasty and crunchy. The prices are reasonable. Happy hour long necks are $3 each and their are margaritas on happy for the same price. The margaritas seemed to be the popular option judging by other tables. A nice Mexican dining option off the strip.

We arrived shortly before closing but were welcomed and were not rushed through the meal. Restaurant has a very Mexican vibe and comfortable feel to it. When the food arrived we were all pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. This restaurant is the best at Southpoint by far.

With another couple, Diane and I came here for dinner. We began with Queso Fundido, with Chorizo on the side. It was a good cheesy batch, but a little liquidy. We were also presented with complimentary and very good Guacamole, Bean Dip, and Corn Tortilla Chips. For mains I had a Shredded Beef Taco and Beef Taquitos accompanied by Charro Beans and Spanish Rice, while Diane opted for a plain Quesadilla with cheese and shrimp. The Shredded Beef inside my taco had been marinated, which I do not prefer. Our friends enjoyed Beef and Chicken Fajitas, plus a Blue Margarita. The ambiance was colorful and festive Old MeHIco. And service was fine and helpful. Iced Tea refills were brought to our table without request.

I haven't been here in a long time and went with a small group. When you sit down they bring you chips, salsa, beans & guacamole. It's unusual to get guacamole for free with your chips. I started with the Fideo soup which a lot of places don't have. It was a bowl which was a nice surprise and was really good. I had the chicken and steak fajitas and as You can see there is a good amount of meat a vegetables. I've had this lately in other places and they don't give you a lot of vegetables which to me is odd. I was at a different Mexican place a few days ago and had the fajitas and just no comparison, this place was amazing. The service was the best I've had anywhere lately. The glasses were never empty, we were checked up on often and we were not rushed. The prices are very reasonable and this is a place I will go back to more often than not. I'll take the drive because the food and prices are good. I had a margarita which was a decent size for only $7.25. Great price!!!! My sister had a Shrimp Dorado and another person in our party had seafood fajitas and everything was really good. We had a reservation for 5pm and it was not too crowded when we got there but by 6pm it was packed inside and out. I highly recommend this place, they do have a happy hour so make sure you make a reservation and enjoy great

The Food at Bad Miguels was not what we expected. Unfortunately everything was bland and generic. Chips tasted like Tostitos from the bag, Salsa was like Pace out of the bottle and the meatballs in the Albondigas were frozen not fresh. We had two Chicken Street Tacos that were dry and tasteless. We ordered two Cadillac Margaritas and they were spot on,!! The Service was Incredible from the Greeting to the End. Restaurant was lively, clean and comfortable. Food was a huge let down. We did not use a Coupon or ask for anything for Free, we just left hungry and disappointed!

This is my first time here at Southpoint, decided to go to Baja Miguel's for dinner. What a fantastic place that Service was top-notch. My wife decided to get the nachos and I got the chicken and steak fajitas. The food was fantastic. I can't believe the pricing here. I guess it used to be on the strip. It is well worth the trip to come out. Try the gambling and try the food. You will not be disappointed.

I visited this place recently..the service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything from being seated to getting our drinks felt smooth and welcoming. As for the food... it was just okay. Nothing really stood out. My California burrito and Danielle's Carnitas tacos were lacking a bit. They didn't taste bad, but it didn't leave me wanting to come back for the food alone. All in all, this is a decent spot if you value friendly, reliable service. But if you're looking for standout cuisine, I'd say it doesn't quite hit that mark.

If you're looking for Mexican food close to Las Vegas Boulevard or if you check in to South Point, Baja Miguel's is a great spot to go to. Once you go inside you feel like in Mexico because of the decorations and design of the wall. The food is amazing and it's huge, I couldn't finish it. I like everything we ordered but my favorites are birria tacos and chocolate leche flan. Customer service is amazing. One staff member refills the drinks and one person will come to ask if you need anything. For sure I will come back and bring my family and friends.

Eleven years since I last reviewed Baja Miguel's. 5 star review then - 5 star review now. Nothing has changed. We were there for a meal before a show. The restaurant honored our reservation for a crowded Friday night. Soon after we were seated, our server, Nayda, brought the chips and dip and got our drink orders. Service remained excellent throughout. The complimentary chips came with sides of guac, salsa, and refried beans - each very good. My wife and I decided to share the chicken fajitas ($26). It comes with 2 plates. One plate with the chicken, sliced peppers and onions. One plate with the guac, sour cream, refried beans, pico de gallo, and rice. Plus they brought extra tortillas because we were sharing. Huge portion that we couldn't finish (lunch tomorrow!!!) These are some of the best fajitas we have had anywhere (including some high end Mexican restaurants). Great service, really good food, fair prices. Definitely coming back again soon.

Great little place for Happy Hour. Conveniently located on property at South Point Casino. It was a little frustrating finding a table as many had reserved signs on them. One server said no worries you can sit there and when we did, we were redirected by another server. Drinks and starters are very responsibly priced. Chip and Salsa was outstanding. After the seating debacle we found the staff to be very friendly and attentive.

We went there because it was recommended to us by friends. Nice ambiance, we were seated quickly around 4:30 during a week day. Foods tasted good and portions are generous. Lucky we party of two didn't order appetizers since we couldn't finish the main course. We were served with on the house tortillas chips with 3 delicious dips. It's worth the price which is hard to find in Las Vegas these days. Recommend!

They have a Loteria drinking game, with each card matching a drink on the menu. Fun idea, but when explained seemed confusing. The drink was ok, too sweet for me and a little small for the price. Menu highlights for me was The dirty corn, salsa flight, and my (2) taco plate. The dirty corn was a standout with elote-style corn in a bowl, topped with chicharron, chorizo, and spicy mayo. It delivers that street corn flavor, but with a good mix of textures and spice. My tacos were delicious. I tried one grilled shrimp taco and one carnitas taco, served with rice and beans. The blue corn tortillas were a nice touch and pillowy soft! The carnitas were amazing, great flavor and super tender. I shrimp tacos were just as good and when topped with their habanero, verde, and roja salsa, that heat and flavor depth gets elevated! Overall, it's a dependable neighborhood spot with a fun atmosphere, creative touches, and good food that makes it worth a visit if you are in the area!

I can't remember the name of my meal, but it had steak with chimichurri, fried plantain, pico, avocado, beans, rice and an egg. My favorite part was definitely the steak! It was perfectly cooked and the chimichurri added the best brightness that the dish needed! There are so many spots in Vegas so I'm not sure I'd come back but I definitely enjoyed it.

Every food item on the Happy Hour menu is $12, which makes it a great way to try a variety of dishes without spending a fortune in Vegas. We ordered the shrimp tacos, CHICA nachos, Firecracker Wings, quesa-birria empanadas, potato flautas, shrimp ceviche, and ahi tuna bites. Everything was absolutely delicious, and there honestly wasn't a bad dish in the bunch. One thing to keep in mind is that these truly are small plates. Don't expect a lot of food with each $12 dish. They're perfect for ordering several different things and sharing, but if you're really hungry, you'll definitely want to order multiple plates. The Firecracker Wings had a really nice kick to them. We loved the spice, but if you have a lower spice tolerance, be careful with those! Also, a heads-up about the shrimp ceviche: CHICA's version is more tomato-based rather than the bright, lime-forward ceviche you might be expecting. It was still really good, but if you don't like tomato-based ceviche, that's definitely something to know before ordering. For drinks, we tried the CHICA-Rita, Palomita, and Tommy's Margarita. They were running a 2-for-1 drink special for $21 total, which was such a great deal, especially for Vegas. Between the absolutely delicious food, fun atmosphere, and Happy Hour pricing, we really enjoyed CHICA. It's a great spot if you like ordering a bunch of small plates for the table and getting to try a little bit of everything.
