I visited Egg Works in Henderson, NV [10839 S Eastern Ave] on Monday, 03/23/26, around 10:15 AM during breakfast time. I opted for the Works Chili Omelette, which was a 4-egg omelette with onions, chili, cheddar cheese, and jack cheese. I got the seasoned potatoes and the housemade banana nut muffin to complement the meal. The chili omelette needed a side of sour cream (because I always eat chili with sour cream) and the Blackened Prime Rib meat pieces. Both toppings enhanced the flavor of the omelette even more! All in all, I loved the generous portion of the plate and the overall taste of everything. The interior of the restaurant gave a family-style, cozy environment. Nicole was my server during the dining experience, and she was super pleasant. The price points of the food and drinks were reasonable. This restaurant even offers an outdoor dining patio area and dog treats for dog owners, which is lovely. Spontaneous non Dicing breakfast--was down the road at a store and my 1/2 brother (who is my ride, well I did buy him something to take me) was like, I am hungry, lets get breakfast--eggworks is just down the road. Luis (spell check) is the new manager which is great, he is a well deserving person, super friendly and always has a smile, you can tell when someone is happy to be somewhere--Great customer service. Got a bloody mary--delicious. The classic--eggs over easy, seasoned potatoes and Vegan Impossible sausage. Brother got the sunrise something or another, I don't pay much attention to stuff other people order sadly. He loved it. The waitress checked in on us many times and was great. The ONLY reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that there was a slight order mix up where the person who delivered our food (Not our waitress) delivered it to a different table, I saw her lay the food down in front of 2 people who then said, this isn't ours and she said oh, its theirs and she brought it to us.....Luckily the 2 people didn't touch the plate or anything but still... It bothered me just a bit but no big deal I guess... but still... Had a visit here about a week ago with a large party. The place was really busy which is always a first good sign. Definitely family friendly, and the staff was very kind and patient with all of us. I ordered a garlic mashed potato stuffed omelette and WOW.. I really thought it sounded a little out of the ordinary and was hesitant to try it, but I really stood corrected. We had the most filling breakfast this morning! I am super excited about the 1/2 portion breakfast they offer! We had the half country fried steak and the half corn beef hash! It was so perfect, usually we share a plate since the portions are so huge! This time we were able to enjoy our own! The service is like a mom & pop style friendly and sweet! Nicole was on top of everything, our drinks were filled without having to ask and an abundance of napkins were placed on our table too! It was perfect how she allowed to enjoy our food checking in on us the perfect amount of times. Not like some places where they over do it lol! This place has soo much style and flair. From the art walls to the train around the restaurant. Everyone was friendly, it was not too busy when we went. Ask our waitress what she recommended since we had not been there before. We went with the chile relleno omelet recommendation, it was great! I also had the fried steak, mmmm I can taste it now! This Egg Works location is subpar compared to others. The service here is noticeably lacking with minimal check-ins and it often feels like you've been forgotten once you're seated. I guess that explains why there's never a way to be seated at this location. The food is fine, but nothing special enough to make up for the service issues. If you want consistently awesome service and great food, do yourself a favor and go to the Egg Works on Sunset & Eastern instead. That location is far more attentive, better run, and actually makes you feel taken care of. Same brand, very different experience. read more

Stopped in at Egg Works around 8 AM on a Sunday morning (August 24). Surprisingly, the place wasn't really busy at that time -- maybe everyone was still at church. Food? Excellent. Service? Excellent. No complaints. I ordered The Classic -- scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and sourdough toast. Normally two eggs never feels like enough for me, so I asked for a third. Well, turns out Egg Works must be using ostrich-sized eggs because three scrambled eggs took up half my plate. Not that I'm complaining -- I love scrambled eggs -- but if you're not an eggaholic, stick with the two they recommend. My wife ordered the same Classic, but with sausage instead of bacon and just the two eggs. Total before tip was about $51 for the two of us, which feels about average (maybe even decent) these days. Bottom line: great food, friendly service, fair price. We'd definitely eat here again. read more

I finished the Red Rock Canyon Half-Marathon in 3:08, my fastest time to date. I swear it took me two days of feasting and 3 different sound baths to recover. It was by far the hardest fitness event I've completed. Luckily for one of the spots, my new post race tradition, I found the CHIPOTLE PORK BREAKFAST BURRITO at Egg Works ( @eggworkrestaurants ) [ A flour tortilla stuffed with homemade chipotle pork, diced onions, diced green chilies, diced jalapenos, fresh cilantro and Cheddar & Jack cheese. Grilled then topped with chipotle hollandaise and a dollop of sour cream. Served with a side of Habla Diablo seasoned potatoes. ] I added extra cheese and chorizo!!!! I've said this before, and I was shocked my friends, but this feast won number one for breakfast burritos in town. OMG! I had to post the cleared plate as proof. Perfectly cooked. I've always come to have breakfast here because we love the food and the service. The first time I've been here where I sat down and no one approached me to ask for our drinks. Mind you it wasn't even busy. Then I turned our egg yellow and Gave them the benefit of the doubt but when they sat a party next to our table the server immediately approached them for their drinks that's when I told my family it was time to leave. When I asked for a manager and explained my disappointment and informed her my egg was yellow and not 1 person approached us, which is supposed to grab their attention but that's not what happened. She was trying to make up for it but at that point it was too late my kids and husband were already waiting in the car. We ordered Country Fried Steak with banana nut muffin ($18.50 cash/$19.06 credit) and Loco Moco ($16.50 cash/$17 credit). Both entrees were good, and the banana nut muffin was yummy. We are seniors & long time customers. We are so disappointed that you have discontinued your Value Menu, which made it possible for us to go out for breakfast. You could at least offer a senior discount! The Value Menu has been removed from the online menu and when my husband recently called that location was told that menu was discontinued. We have also inquired about a senior discount in the past and told it is not offered there. This is in contrast to what the manager is now saying per his response to this post. read more

I'm writing to this remind me not to come here again. In the past I remembered the food being salty. Today when I came with family I ordered the biscuits and gravy and asked for the potatoes plain. When we did get our food no one came to check to see if we even got our full order. My fork had old food crusted on it so I was planning on asking for a new one. We waited and I flipped the egg on table to get help. Only after that was flipped did the server come and ask what we needed. I asked for my potatoes -that hadn't came- and a clean fork. When I finally got the potatoes they were covered in salty seasoning. I didn't even bother to flip the sign again and we didn't see the server until she dropped the check. Our server was awesome. My review is in regards to the food. I left feeling pretty disappointed with today's experience. Egg Works has been my favorite spot to get breakfast for years. I would always get the Works Fruit Plate which included a plate full of sliced fruit, toast or muffin, yogurt or cottage cheese, bottomless coffee, AND orange juice. They have completely changed that. It is now a "Works fruit BOWL". Which includes a small bowl of chopped up fruit, yogurt or cottage cheese, and toast or muffin. The variety of fruit isn't even the same and the size of the bowl is slightly bigger than their side of fruit size. This was definitely not worth it. read more

A country lite motif and raised model train that circles the restaurant greets you as you enter Egg Works. Paper menus that resemble looking through a country newspaper lead you to a good ol' fashioned country breakfast. My husband had the Classic Eggs Benedict and said he loved it. The servings were hardy and the potatoes were great and crisp. I had an unlimited coffee which is served with a carafe for the table and the Hawaiian French toast. The French toast was a standard order with thick Hawaiian bread slices, apple compote and syrup. I'm pretty sure the syrup was warmed as well. It was a classic French toast. I loved the Diablo potatoes side order. They were crispy and well seasoned and did not come with onions and peppers. All in all it was a reasonably priced breakfast (even more with a Groupon) with great skillet country servings. We will be back. Ps. The worst meal from here EVER and the worst Huevos Rancheros ever!! I used DoorDash, as I have many times. I didn't expect authentic Huevos Rancheros but I did expect a reasonable facsimile. Instead, I got a pile of canned refried beans -- horrible, no taste, no chorizo, nothing but somewhat runny refried beans -- topped with two poached eggs and melted cheese. Just a whole lot of refried beans. Should have come with flour tortillas. I specifically had to choose "flour or corn" and I chose flour. Didn't get any tortillas. Just a whole lot of refried beans which they are calling Huevos Rancheros. Shameful. I ordered the Mexican omelet for my husband. He didn't especially care for it. When he saw it, the first words out of his mouth were "Why is it white? It's never been white before." Well, it was white because I chose Jack Cheese. Here's what sucks about their on-line ordering system. In the store, each dish has a recipe. You're not asked to choose a cheese because the cheese is already determined. But, to order on-line, every dish requires that you choose a cheese! I don't know which cheese. Use the cheese in the menu description. So I'll try to find the description and then choose that cheese. Which is a helluva effort, especially first thing in the morning. I couldn't find the cheese that is used for the Mexican omelet so I chose Pepper Jack which was a mistake. It didn't go inside, it went on top and made the omelet white. So, flour tortillas are MIA. I didn't get Huevos Rancheros; I got refried beans with melted cheese and poached eggs. Hubby didn't love his omelet because we eat with our eyes first and he'd never seen a white Mexican omelet before. At least, for the first time I think, they noticed "no utensils." Not the first time an item (in the past, banana nut muffin) was missing from the DoorDash order. But it is the first time EVER that we ate a little breakfast each and then threw the rest of it in the garbage disposal. Normally, we each eat half of our breakfast and then have the other half either that night for dinner or the next day for breakfast. Not today, it was pure garbage -- and that's where we put it.
