Here is the review: I went to the new El Cerro at 108 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach SC for lunch today with my daughter and son in law. Their flight back home was cancelled yesterday due to the weather, so we were enjoying a bonus day. Nice casual atmosphere and we were very happy with the service. Very friendly and attentive. The food was great and I thought it was reasonably priced. They both had margaritas that they said were really good also. It was my first time at El Cerro and based on that experience, I will definitely go back.

Again - this is not the norm and my great experiences outweighed this last visit, but consistency in the long run will be important. I'd also agree with the reviews saying they like to charge for upsells and they are pretty good at pushing them. I love their house hot sauce but paying a dollar for hot sauce at a Mexican restaurant seems a bit absurd... Overall worth a try and we will continue coming back but there is some fine tuning for management!
