I was not impressed. I ordered the Baja Fish taco and the Don'tCry4me taco. The Baja fish was supposed to have "crisp cabbage slaw" and citrus mayo. The only thing inside the stale taco was a few small pieces of fish and the mayo. The Don'tCry4Me is supposed to have "marinated grilled steak with onions, pico, fresh chopped cilantro, and squeeze of lime". As you can see from the picture, it only contained a greasy mixture of minimal meat and what I took to be grilled onions. 4 Stars for an airport restaurant/bar If you happen to be flying either United or Spirit, you will probably experience some form of a delay! While dealing with our 4 hour United delay, we chose this restaurant to both relax, kill some time and avoid the peanuts on the plane. Yes this is an airport restaurant but it's not your typical one! Small nice menu combined with diverse beers and mixed drinks. We chose the fish taco and the Ring of Fire quesadilla. Both were more than we expected. Recommend ordering more than one taco. Airport food is usually it's own experience, but I can always look forward to the MYR nacho hippo when I get there too early and have 2 hours to padiddle. They are respectful of your time and check in often in case you need to run, but also understanding if you have time to kill and need somewhere to sit for an hour (if you buy something obvi) Here I only got the quesadilla, which was bomb ofc, but as a local I've gotten the hippo many o times and can verify that everything is good. Good margs too! And TV's if you're into that kinda thing ;) ofc prices are higher bc you're eating in an airport people, cmon. read more

A good 4 stars. We stopped here on Friday around 2pm prior to our 4:30pm flight and were promptly seated. My husband got a beer and I had the spicy margarita. Actually I got two of those because they were so delicious and definitely were going to help me cope with our two children on that plane ride, haha. We started with the holy guacamole, it was alright. I had the shredded chicken/cheese quesadilla which arrived piping hot. I think due to it being so hot, the moisture caused the underside to get really soggy and difficult to pick up to eat, but it was flavorful. My husband enjoyed his burrito, our little one devoured his cheeseburger and our oldest liked his chicken fingers. I asked our waitress for a few of their signature plastic cups (because I collected them from our last trip years ago and I wanted a new stash). She brought me a few wet/recently washed cups. Due to a time crunch I only got to try a couple of tacos but this is one of those places I'd come back to when traveling to try more options! Service was good, food was ok for airport food. Do not waste your money here. Terminal B has a restaurant that is MUCH better and the staff is so kind. Nacho Hippo airport staff at the Bar are INCREDIBLY rude. I watched them make fun of a woman and talk about making her drink " undrinkable" because she didn't like the way they made her margarita. He laughed as he added a cup of hot pepper to her drink. He then smirked at his coworker who laughed. This is obviously something they do all the time. The woman was nice , didn't drink her drink ,and left. I wouldn't have been so kind!! It's smothered in a cheesy sauce that's quite tasty, I put on hot sauce to kick it up a notch, and added black beans and veggies. WHY THERES 3 STARS WHEN SHOULD BE 1.5 is: Gunner Johnston- (the only reason for such high stars) he is a 15 year old young man that has INCREDIBLE work ethic!!! (Would've liked some Buffalo sauce for my "kickin Cauliflower appetizer".) Now, the food: ----"Veg head taco" 10/10 (ordered hard shell) ----"Buffalicious taco" 6.5/10 (ordered hard shell) ----"Kickin Cauliflower appetizer"-- 2/10 pretty terrible. No Buffalo sauce offered which seems to be something you should get with "kickin" in the title, just heavily breaded cauliflower. The blue cheese sauce does NOT have blue cheese crumbles, it's plain liquidity dressing. Also, should note last call for alcohol is 8:45, last call for food is 9. It's 8:57pm and I've had 1 appetizer, 2 tacos, 2 margaritas and ZERO notifications of any last call for food or beverage (I would've ordered dessert to go). Yes. Some people are die hard Chick Filet fans, but next door is a hidden gem. Service was mediocre but pleasant (during a difficult pandemic period), but these waitresses never stopped. Steady stream of customers. Hostess that seated us was pleasant and polite. Her conversation with us was sweet priceless. Menu is simple and straightforward. Drink menu is also simple and perfect. We did wait 20-30 extra minutes for our main course, but it was worth every second. We ate at 2pm and I'm still full at midnight!!! Note to self: if your chair is a little wobbly just grab one at a nearby table and switch it out. I'm glad we got to the airport 4 hours before our 5pm flight. For an airport bar, this place is pretty good. Service is a little slow, but if you have the time, the food is better than the grab and go options. I had the Nacho Hippo Grande salad and asked that they put the slow cooked shredded chicken on it instead of the grilled or blackened options. It was fine. The avocado ranch was tasty. We saw this place at North Myrtle Beach but did eat there until we got to the airport and saw it there on our way back home. My wife had the pork nachos and I had two baja fish tacos and a Carolina kid taco plus we ordered their Three way chips and salsa. The chips came in a cool funnel container and gave us three types of salsa. The mango salsa was amazing!!! I could have ordered lots more of that. My tacos were great, such great flavors. So I first want to start this review with some reality. Reality is, for the most part, you aren't going to have the best meal of your life at an airport. Food in an airport is a means to an end. Ok, now to the review. This restaurant isn't the worst airport food I have had but definitely isn't the best. Their guacamole wasn't bad and their chips weren't stale. So me and my partner come Into Myrtle beach International, there isn't many choices at all. This place seemed like it would be good. We got a couple local ipa beers. Then we ordered the three way which is Chips and salsa with 3 different salsas.. mango habanero, fire roasted salsa, and tomatillo salsa. They were all so disappointing.. I gave it it 3 stars because the manga habanero was just slightly good, it had a little bit of spice but it could have used a lot more considering the name is habanero. The fire roasted salsa was just not appetizing at all and neither was the tomatillo for me. The fire roasted was sweet, not spicy at all, and too Smokey which is not a normal thing for salsa.. if it ain't broke don't try to fix it. The tomatillo was tangy, sour, and not spicy at all... if I was to come here to this airport again I'd most likely stay away and stick to the pavilion bar and grill. read more
