Our first morning in Nashville called for a hearty breakfast before scouring the area for our next place to call home. We weighed our options and ended up visiting Nadeen's Hermitage Haven based off of the positive reviews as well as wanting to visit somewhere local. Nadeen's is charming inside and out. The parking lot is small but there were plenty of spots open on a mid-week morning. We were greeted warmly and sat at a booth. Nadeen's feels familiar and comfortable. Our waiter was fantastic the entire time, he was gracious and hardworking. My husband ordered the Southwest Scramble and I had the Farmer's Skillet. Both were delicious but we both agreed that mine was the better of the two. The biscuit was baked perfectly and was so fluffy. The gravy and potatoes were delicious, too. We came here after taking a major hiatus from Nadeem's but not for any reason. It's great to see they are still quite busy. Good to see that even being busy the service was still good. I will say the drinks were strong. I accidentally ordered a margarita instead of a Bloody Mary so my wife drank that. I tried it and it was strong. I ended up getting the single bloody instead of double and glad that was the case. The food was good. I had the Diner Breakfast with cheese scrambled eggs and country ham. With tow signs around the corner for parking anywhere other than their parking lot .. apparently the peed off or on the neighboring business with their customers parking just anywhere. Moving on We put our name in and I stayed in the parking lot the whole 42 minutes while we waited to be seated and 8 minutes later we were seated. The Grub. I came to the table fast. Nadeen's has your typical diner food. We went for breakfast and really enjoyed the sausage and the biscuits, the eggs and hash browns were exactly what you would expect at a diner. The tea and coffee were fresh and delicious and the service was great. It was pretty loud on a busy Saturday morning. Wheelchair accessibility: there was only one accessible parking spot that we saw. The entrance has about a 1 inch lip that some wheelchairs would get stuck on. The exit was much more accessible. There was plenty of room to navigate inside and multiple seating options including booths, low tables, and high tables. However there isn't an accessible bathroom. The doors to the bathrooms are narrow and there's no turning radius inside. They do have grab bars but even a tiny wheelchair wouldn't be able to turn inside the bathrooms. read more

One of my favorite Nashville restaurants. Nadeen's is exactly what you want to find when you go looking for a local joint where nice people serve really good food in a casual setting with a full bar! Breakfast here is really good and it's served all day. I recommend the Chicken & Waffles and the budget friendly Diner Breakfast. My wife and I now have a go-to lunch order here. We start by sharing the large Poitine. If you're not from Canada, that means hand cut french fries with cheese curds covered in house made gravy. When you're there, it's hard to find a table that isn't sharing the Poutine. My Wife & I LOVE the Wedge Salad. She orders hers with a large piece of boneless fried chicken and I add the Nashville Hot Chicken. It's more than a meal for $14, with bacon, red onions, blue cheese crumbles and cherry tomatoes. I ask for an extra blue cheese dressing, my wife does not. It's the best salad with fresh made chicken for the money in Nashville. I highly recommend Nadeen's Hermitage Haven. First time here- came here for late lunch in a Sunday afternoon. Note- DO NOT park in the Arby's lot next door, park in Nadeen's lot to the right of the building.
