I went in one day after lunch about a year ago and was completely overwhelmed because everything looked so good and I didn't order a thing. Stopped by yesterday and now I'm hooked! If you read my other reviews, you'll see where I tried another bakery's cinnamon buns twice and just was not a fan. Biggest critic was the lack of cinnamon in the cinnamon bun - this one is the opposite. There is cinnamon in every single bite - they even do the cinnamon-sugar on the bottom of the pan to ensure the crusty sweet goodness on their buns! This is definitely in my top list of cinnamon buns. The dough is so good and soft, the icing is to die for, and you know you'll get cinnamon in every bite just by looking at it! This is where I'll be going from now on when I don't want to make a batch at home! I also got the cookie butter cheesecake - how have I lived my life this long without trying this? Cheesecake, caramel and cookie butter in every bite! The cheesecake is super fluffy and I can't wait to try more of their flavors. I got my husband an ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie and we were both delighted with the flavor - it's the perfect balance of browned butter and bittersweet chocolate! He can't wait to give their oatmeal raisin cookies a try. For five in the evening, this place was hopping by the time I left. There was initially one person ahead of me and one behind the counter and as folks came in, two more came out the back to help! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The shop itself is cute! I love walking in to see display case after display case of baked goods - all of them looking amazing! They also sell ice cream and coffee here! Definitely a bakery I will be frequenting often!

I was pretty taken aback by how many dessert options they had. Not only did they have a plethora of types of desserts, but they had sooo many flavors/varieties of each one. A dozen different variations of cheesecakes, several cupcake varieties, a dozen different kinds of macarons, several different cakes, tiramisu, tres leches, banana pudding, edible cookie dough, more cookies than I could name, brownies, eclairs, and more that I'm sure I have forgotten. If you can name it, I'm sure they have it. I've been looking for somewhere nearby to get a proper macaron (as opposed to a hard, macaron shaped cookie without the traditional texture) at a reasonable price point. This definitely met those criteria, so of course we tried a flower shaped macaron. It had the perfect, delicate cookie and that classic, light almondy flavor. We also had a brownie batter cookie, which was delicious and reminds me of something I would have saved on Pinterest a decade ago but never gotten around to making, much less as well as they do. Though there was a line inside, we were served super quickly by friendly staff, and found a nice seat outside in the sun. They also had abundant indoor seating. Maybe I'm the last one to hear about Sweet Dough and everyone else has been a fan, or maybe it's a true hidden gem. Either way, I will 100% be back.

I have only had one thing there so I can't speak on everything but my Lychee tea with black bubbles was delicious and refreshing. The interior was interesting and felt somewhat eclectic. I cannot say for sure whether it was under new ownership at that time or not. That said, I remember enjoying my beverage, a half sweet mocha milk tea with some nice slightly chewy boba, and an order of their popcorn chicken with sweet chili sauce. The mocha was just right for me at half sweet, as I usually find most of these drinks overpowering in their sugar levels. The popcorn chicken had a crispy outside, tender inside. Just what you want. The space inside is an interesting mix of decor as others have pointed out, and really, that suits it. If you want to take photos for your socials you have a lot of choices. If you want a work area with more rigid seating and a table, they have it. If you want more comfortable lounge seating, they have some of that too. It can't hold a ton of people, but for what people look for in their boba and tea places, this seems to fit it. I'll admit, my boba travels aren't extensive! This isn't my absolute favorite place for a fruit or milk tea in Greensboro, but it's definitely the closest to where I live making it more likely for an impulse snack.

We got the Bianca and one of the salami pies and both were excellent. The Bianca is the sleeper pick. No sauce, just fior di latte and big spoonfuls of ricotta with crisped basil and olive oil. Rich without being heavy, and the ricotta stays cool and creamy against the hot cheese. The salami pie was the opposite energy -- wide, spicy slices that render right into the sauce. Crust on both had that leopard-spotted char and real chew. The space is half the appeal. Old mill building with exposed brick, wood ceilings, long communal picnic tables, Italian flags, and a powder-blue Vespa parked by the door. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and they call you up. Casual and loud in a good way -- great for a group. Fair warning: no half-toppings, no substitutions, and everything comes well done. Lean into it. Also worth noting they'll sell you a frozen 12-inch to take home.

Don't dress up for this casual place, they serve wine in little juice glasses. Just like my Italian relatives did. The pizza itself was as close to NYC pizza, but it does miss the boat with the distribution of ingredients. We ordered the Livorno pizza. Each slice was a venture, some had sauce, some didn't. You may or may not get sausage. One slice had the golden ticket, sauce, sausage, cheese and basil! The crust was delicious, just like the pizza I ate 5 days ago in NYC. The sauce wasn't as good in comparison, but it was still very good. We may be back again.
