I asked them if they could help me out, and they swapped it out for me with an order of their delicious Hummus, no charge. This Naf Naf location is clean and service is fast, but the food is lackluster. My chicken schwarma was bland, and the garlic sauce didn't have that nasal-clearing potency you expect from good toum. In any other area Naf Naf would be a great addition, but with Falafel Express just across the street on Wabash, not to mention IDOF on Jackson, there are just better options nearby. read more

I've been to a few fast food Mediterranean places like this. The pita of this place was good, and from what I read it was handmade in the store. When I bought the food, I thought I'd like the spicy sauce. Which I guess spicy is a relative term, but this was so spicy that my face was completely red and I ended up throwing away the meal. I like spice, but I don't like to burn off my taste buds. They could've at least given me a warning, but instead they poured it on. Waste of 7 or 8 dollars. read more

It's the Mediterranean version of Chipotle, but much better. I loved the chicken schwarma bowl: tender and flavorful chicken, good toppings (especially salad and onion), and interesting sauces. This is an excellent place to go if you want a quick, tasty, and reasonable priced meal! read more

Let me start this off by saying that this is a franchise or chain. They have great customer service. very trusting, but also because they had to. The day we went, their system went down. So they still allowed people to order food. Once ordered, they either ate their and paid later or just told people to come back later. Which is awesome, to show trust and appreciation. Food was good. I don't think I've ever had poor quality or bad tasting Mediterranean food. But I've also not had mind-blowing food either. I've had better such as Halal guys, or other local mom and pop shops. Not saying that this place is bad, its good. It's quick and easy. Also, it offers a variety of ways to build your wrap or bowl. The hottest hot sauce doesn't go well with the food. But the jalapeño sauce was excellent. Paired very nicely with it all. Nice place for a M-F lunch, but nothing crazy for me to come back for. read more

This place is not an authentic middle eastern food it a franchise . The food is blan over priced $11 for a sandwich and a drink. You can walk 1 block to 17 n Wabash to Oasis or Falafel island 60 e Adams. and get twice the amount of food for 1/3 less . I had a large plate for $7. I had a chicken shawarma pita to-go for dinner and thought it was really delicious, filling and fairly priced. Could've been served hotter. The staff member helping me had conjunctivitis though and that was a bit alarming/off-putting. Also this particular location always looks so sad with the meh decor and lack of people dining in. This was my second trip to Naf Naf and something in my bowl was WAY, WAY too salty. Just tasted like straight salt. I suspect that if someone hadn't gone ham on the salt shaker it would have been fine, but as it was I could barely taste anything. read more

There are many choices for a good healthy and hearty meal along this block now but the top choice is Naf Naf Grill. Tonight it was my dinner choice after several months of not being in this area. This place is A-OK. Nothing compares to Pita Inn in the suburbs, but since Pita Inn is not in the city, this place will have to do. The chicken shawarma is good, but the optional toppings is not the best fit. At Chipotle, almost any combination of ingredients melds together cohesively, here - it's very hit or miss. They don't give you enough chicken, especially if you are just getting chicken and hummus with toppings. The flavor of the chicken shawarma is good but just a tiny portion. The only good thing here is the falafels - probably the best I've had in Chicago. Another upside is their hot sauces, so so so good and actually really hot, just the way I like my sauces. The fire sauce is the red hot sauce, which is a winner! It's really flavorful and spicy, may make your nose start sweating. And their green hot sauce is like a spicier version of an Indian mint chutney, full of fresh herbs and spice. The garlic sauce is very creamy and garlicy, not the best sauce there. But their tahini is actually pretty good. I would recommend only coming here if you want a good falafel (with various sauces)! read more

Beware of this place. I ate there twice in the first time my stomach felt upset. The second time I got food poisoning! I'm not sure why I went back but I did. I'm not sure if the owners are even aware that people are getting food poisoning but hopefully they will after this review. Sorry to have to give you a bad review but you should make sure your workers know how to prepare the food properly. And make sure the workers don't argue in front of customers either like they were doing both times I was there. read more
