The food is incredible!!! The shwarma moist and flavorful. The bowl full of humus, chickpeas and spice. Served in a Togo bowl it doesn't seem like much food, but it was filling and more than enough. One pita wasn't enough to mop up all the hummus. And the rose water lemonade, while tart and lemon with great aroma, was also half ice. Next time will order the zaatar pita. No chips or fries which would have made the meal complete. The food was good enough to encourage people to travel here! Might be a food court the food is clearly outstanding.

Ordering online and picking up is best. Food is delicious adequately seasoned without being too salty. 4 stat because packaging could be more sustainable.

Delicious meal at Lashuk Street Food. Highly recommend the hummus bowl with za'atar chicken - everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful - the hummus was creamy and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu!

3.5! LaShuk is definitely a casual workday lunch place in the middle of a food hall. I was looking forward to try it because of the raving reviews on the chicken, but i felt like the chicken didn't give what it was supposed to give. Nothing about the chicken was really 'Zatar', and felt like the chicken was super dry and even burnt? However all the carbs around it like the pita and rice stood out to me. The pita was very stretchy and soft like mochi and it was the best pita I've ever had in my life. I also appreciated how the rice was slightly sweet. I also ordered a side of falafels that were okay when hot but somehow even better when cold? Overall not a bad place but it was okay. If the chicken had been better I would've given it a better rating

Great place to get Middle Eastern food in the Revival Food Hall. It's only open on weekdays, which is the only bad thing about it. LaShuk is another of those places where there's long ass lines. For sure it's worth waiting awhile. There's meaty options like shawarma as well as vegetarian choices such as falafel. Came in the last time and it was busy. It took a long time it seemed to get to the counter. This was a sign this place is good though. After eating, I can say it was a good idea to wait around. The food may be kind of expensive, but you get a lot. I got the Falafel Platter, which was a pretty impressive amount. It's about $14, but you get tons of food though. Falafel was crispy without being burnt. There was also hummus, pitas, and tahini. For sure one of the best options in Revival Food Hall. It can get pretty busy sometimes. There's good choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

I ate here for lunch during the week. It's in a hall with about a dozen restaurants. It gets busy around noon. I had the chicken Schwarma platter. The rice has a slightly sweet like clover flavor. The chicken was just okay to me. The cucumber tomato salad was fresh. It came with hummus, pita and a side of creamy garlic sauce. The hummus was thinner than I'm used but it tasted good.

The grilled Za'atar chicken rice platter (Za'atar spiced chicken over rice with cucumber and tomato salad. Served with hummus, pita and side of tahini) was delicious. The chicken tastes like it came off a charcoal grill. The falafel was okay but it looked almost burnt on the outside.

Super good falafels and serving size. Hummus was more tart/sour than I would've preferred but a solid meal. Good venue with lots of seating options.

Ask the Community - LaShuk Street Food

Is there really outdoor seating? Listed as such.

    Do they alcohol or byob?

LaShuk doesn't sell alcohol (from what I recall) however there's a big bar in the middle of the food hall that serves alcohol. You can order from them. It's all shared seating.

    Is the meat halal?

It might be interesting to see if kosher meat (say the chicken) would handle both and maybe increase sales a bit ?

Stylish Fulton Market Brunch with Great Food and Service…read more Booked brunch for two on OpenTable at Aba in Fulton Market, and it's easy to see why this spot is so popular. The space is beautiful--open, bright, full of natural light, and stylish without feeling overdone. We ordered the Short Rib Shakshuka, which was flavorful with just a hint of spice and a generous portion size. The warm, soft pita served alongside was perfect for dipping. The Steak and Eggs was also excellent--the steak and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the fried potatoes were a standout: crispy on the outside while still moist and tender inside. Portion sizes were just right. We also tried both of the recommended brunch cocktails, and they were strong, flavorful, and well balanced. Service from Mike was great--friendly, efficient, and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, Aba delivered a polished and enjoyable brunch experience. Highly recommend, and based on what we tasted, I'd absolutely come back to try dinner.

Overall, the experience fell short of expectations.

I called them because I wasn't sure if the online version would be too slow. We were a group of three that came in Saturday night at 7 pm. It was moderately busy. The staff were all welcoming with smiles on their faces and attentiveness. Prices were fair for the amount of food you receive. Food portions are colossal so I would recommend one appetizer and one entree if you are a couple. They give you a complimentary dish. We ordered arayes with meat, meat toshka, mixed grill with baba ghanouj, fillet of basa fried, and mint lemonade. They also offer you fresh Arabic coffee before you leave. This is about a 4.5-5. -arayes with meat 4 - this was not bad. It's like a tamer version of the meat toshka. -meat toshka 5 - I prefer this over the arayes because they add the Syrian cheese. This one was bursting with flavor the moment you took a bite out of it. The minced beef and lamb just melt in the mouth. -mixed grill 5 - this came with 3 big skewers (shish kabab, kufta kabab, and chicken tawook. It also has tomatoes and onions to help cut down the meat when digesting. There are two heaping portions of biryani and saffron rice and baba ghanouj. The baba ghanouj was creamy and flavorful. It goes well with the pita bread. The meats were cooked medium well unless you want something. I think next time I'll ask for the shish kababs to be cooked medium rare or medium for a more juicy taste. The chicken tawook and kufta were both succulent. -fillet of basa fried 5 - the two pieces of basa fillet were astronomical. It also comes with two different kinds of rice. The fish was flaky, moist, and seasoned. Make sure you add the lemon and eat it with the sauce. -mint lemonade 5 - this was very refreshing after eating a heavy meal.

The pomegranate on top perfectly complements it. -Arnibit (Cauliflower): People like this one a lot, but I personally think it's just the presentation that is appetizing. It tasted like a regular cauliflower, and I wished the sauce complemented and infiltrated the cauliflower more. It felt like I was eating two separate things. -Mixed Grill: the chicken and the beef were juicy and well made. The kefta was the star. It was soft and so well seasoned, and every time I order it I wish we could have more. My only comment would be that we wish the portions are bigger, considering the price was pretty expensive. This could only fill one person in my opinion. Nevertheless I love it. They also have very specific and unique dishes that you don't normally see at bigger restaurants. After another friendly greeting, we were seated and given a quick explanation of the options for our meal and for drinks, as well. One of us ordered the #7 cocktail, sa'baa, which we considered to be medium-sweet, as far as gin-based, fruit-forward cocktails are concerned. Perfectly balanced, in the opinion of the primary drinker. (Me!) My favorite gin cocktail in a while. (#7 SA'BAA COCKTAIL, 5/5) Another member of our party of 3 ordered the #0 N/A SIFR cocktail, which I felt was perhaps the only underwhelming flavor of the evening. However, the order-er of this cocktail thought it was good. (#0 N/A SIFR COCKTAIL 3.5/5) We debated the merits of a la carte versus tasting menu, and went with the tasting menu for all three of us, given our level of late-Friday hunger. Prepare the have ample left over if you opt for the tasting menu without an appetite to match. TASTING MENU OPENING COURSE: Hummus, 4.5/5 For the opening course, we were served the hummus and pita. If you prefer a sturdy amount of pita with every spoonful of hummus, do yourself a favor and order an extra pita per person. The hummus is beautifully seasoned, with just enough oil to provide a sumptuously-smooth texture that delivers the pepper and other flavors with perfect balance. Delicious. (HUMMUS w/ PITA, 4.5/5) TASTING MENU SMALL PLATES COURSE: Scallops (5/5), lamb kebab (4.5/5), maitaki roasted mushroom (5/5) The server and kitchen collaborated nicely to delivery each course perfectly-cooked and perfectly-timed. Despite our late seating, we never felt rushed. All three diners at our table, myself enthusiastically included, felt that this second course was the strongest out of the four courses offered with the tasting menu. Scallops are delightfully and delicately seasoned and briefly flame-kissed, served on top of a luscious, peppery orange sauce. Good lord, what a bite. We wanted five hundred of these. (SCALLOPS, 5/5) The lamb kebab can really only be faulted for how little we were given. I'd hope for a bigger portion. If you know you'll love it, which you will, just order a bonus order of this. (LAMB KEBAB, 4.5/5) Maitaki mushroom. Whew! Just getting started and hitting it out of the park with this one. I strongly felt that this was the strongest bite of the entire meal, though my companions landed firmly on the scallop for this title. A mushroom of this quality cooked with this skill is genuinely difficult to find in all but a few high-end spots, so consider this a rare opportunity and treat. ORDER THE MAITAKI! I will have words for this restaurant if this particular preparation of this particular mushroom ever departs their menu. (MAITAKI, 5/5) TASTING MENU ENTREE COURSE: Ravioli-type Manti-and-morel-mushroom thing (4.5/5), branzino (5/5), lamb shank (4/5) Not as much to say about this course. Obviously delicious, but the branzino was a standout. Maybe if we came again we'd order JUST the branzino from this list, especially if we weren't as hungry. It's so good. Not overly-salty like many fish dishes prepared in this manner. Wow. TASTING MENU DESSERT COURSE, toasted strawberries and cream (4.5/5) This is served cold. It is better that it is. It is very good. Quality berries and quality cream were used. SERVICE WAS SO GOOD! Whoever from the restaurant sees this, if anyone does, ought to track down whoever it was that was serving Nidhi, party of three, on Friday, 06/19 and give them a medal or something. Service like this is a class above what I'd even expect of a restaurant at this price point.

On a Monday night, my fiance & I spontaneously decided to go out for dinner on our way to grocery…read moreshop, so we were a bit underdressed compared to other patrons lol. In hindsight, it would've been a great opportunity to dress up & make a more formal date out of it but we had fun nonetheless. We called to ask if they were taking walk-ins but the person who answered seemed a bit unsure. We decided to check it out anyways and were able to be seated at the bar. The atmosphere was neat, modern, with sleek lines. Service was fine but nothing remarkable. It was our first time dining and I do wish they explained the menu to us. For example, we were unaware that the meat dishes did not come with rice until later. Additionally, it was difficult to ascertain how much food we were ordering and if we were ordering "correctly." Keep in mind some of the cocktails are pre-batched so you're unable to adjust certain aspects. For context, I am not a huge fan of Mediterranean food but my fiance is and we always enjoy exploring different dishes and cuisines. We spent about $120 and left full (take our fullness with a grain of salt because we did eat a few hrs before). For our spread, we got the Eggplant ($18, gf, nuts) which had Tahini Yogurt, Mint, Pine Nuts. It came with a single pita bread so we ordered an extra. The Eggplant spread had pomegranates which was surprising and added a refreshing tartness to the dish. I enjoyed it, but don't think I would order it again or find myself craving it. For our small plate, we ordered the Grilled Asparagus with Smoked Labneh, Hazelnuts, Urfa Chili Crunch ($22, dairy, nuts). Now THIS...is something to write home about. 10/10. Amazing. It was tender with a little crunch, perfectly smokey and sweet, and addicting. Vegetable dishes can be "just fine" but I would consider this comparable to the satisfaction you get from an entree. I WILL be craving this (my fiance also agrees). For our side, we got the Batata Harra ($12, gf, v) which were crispy fried potatoes tossed in a spicy sauce. Usually potatoes can be very plain but this was very well seasoned in the sauce, a little too much in my opinion. The sauce had seeped into the potatoes to the point it became very soggy and almost too salty despite the plain potato interior. Rice probably would have been a better option. From the grill, we got the Lamb Kebab ($26, gf, halal) with Tzatziki and Sumac Onions and Tiger Prawns ($26, gf) with Toum & Harissa Emulsion, Lemon, Dill. For the price of the lamb kebab, it came as a single skewer which was pretty steep for the price. Fortunately for us (and unfortunately for my fiance's wallet), it was some of the best lamb we have had. It was super tender, flavorful, not gamey, and you did not even need the tzatziki which is a big compliment in my book as a Sauce Girl. There were 2 Tiger prawns and although they were big, I wish we were aware it would only be 2. Once again...we loved it. The prawns were well cooked with a nice tenderness and subtle snap. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. I am not sure if I would return, but it was a fun experience and I can definitely see myself ordering the grilled asparagus for take-out.
