I feel bad to give such a low star review considering the average, but I have to share my honest experience. I found Eva Jewel from Yelp based on the reviews and decided to try it out for lash lifts ($85). I emailed and texted for an appointment based on her website, didn't hear back for awhile, followed up via email and heard back after my 2nd try. I made an appointment easily via email and sent her the $70 deposit, which goes toward your appointment. I showed up for my appointment and she was not there - I called, she was running late. Not a huge deal, but would have been nice to have been contacted ahead of time. She started my lash lift right away and it took a little more than an hour, which is longer than other lash lifts I've had. I also had an allergic reaction to the product she uses and my eyelids felt sore and a bit swollen/red. I've had at least 30-40 lash lifts in my lifetime and haven't had this reaction before, so was pretty caught off guard by it. The lash lift itself also was not great - my lashes are curled to the point that they touch my eyelids and honestly look clumpy. I did mention the reaction and how uncomfortable my eyes felt, but wasn't offered much beyond an after care sample cream. Overall, not a good experience and won't be back. Not sure what happened given all the positive reviews, but considering I've had many good lash lifts in the past, it's not a good match for me. 10/28 Update - Eyelashes still look wonky and a ton have fallen out. I think that the treatment was left on for too long and caused a ton of damage to my lashes. Definitely not going back and would caution others, especially if you are trying your first lash lift! read more

I just wanted to add a few more words after having my retouch done! I was impressed with my eyebrows the first time but during the retouch Jewel went above and beyond to create a style that suits my face. She asked me for my opinions but honestly I know nothing about eyebrows and just went with what she said - and omg, I love how they look! She is truly an expert. My friends that have never had microblading ask me where my brows were done and I've been telling them about Eva Jewel. They all have the same anxiety of wanting to get microblading but not knowing what it's like, who to trust, and what kind of style to get. She's very meticulous and detailed! I was surprised that she used a ruler to measure out my face proportions to find a design most well suited to me. I asked her for korean-style straight brows, and she gave me exactly that and a slight arch since I have a circular face and the arch would be more natural. The photos are right after getting a retouch and I am more than satisfied! Jewel did a meticulous job measuring and making sure my brows were drawn evenly prior to Microblading. She did inform me that due to my bone structure my right brow appears shorter than my left brow-however, I may still want to fix this because I don't want my bone structure to make my brows look uneven and hopefully she will be able to fix this so that they look more even. I was not satisfied with the initial tattoo, she provided me free touch up until I was satisfied with the colors and looking!! For the healing process, I experienced tolerable pain for the first two days after tattoo, then I didn't feel any pain, sting or whatever after two days of the tattoo. I was happy with the healing process. Eva provided me some healing ointment, and it helped a lot. For the eyeliner healing process, I didn't actually feel pain after the tattoo, only slight soreness on the first day of the tattoo. I found Jewel through a blogger and I was so impressed with her work that I knew she is the one who could fix my botched microblading from almost 3 years ago. I emailed Jewel with a picture of my brows and she responded promptly with her suggestions. She told me it would take 2 sessions to correct the previous work. I am from out of state, so I flew to Bellevue to see her. She is beautiful, sweet, and kind. She drew what my brows would look like before getting to work. She also explained in detail what she would do to correct my ugly brows. It took about 3 hours ( brows and eyeliner) and I was so impressed with her work. She hid the old ink by mixing an sink that matches my skin color. The eyeliner was a bit painful but the result is so natural, just a thin line. The result was amazing! Even my husband was impressed! I also want to mention that it was not painful at all and during the entire healing process, it only flake very little. The result was very natural and I got alot of compliments. Eva has no communication or customer skill whatsoever! She's not punctual. One time she was over 40 minutes late because her daughter was locked out of the house or something. Two other occasions I had to wait 30 minutes each because her previous customers ran late. I NEVER complained or said anything! Because, sometimes life happens.. When I tried to reschedule my appointment 36 hours prior, she told me she'd be taking $70 off of my package and I had to reschedule. When I expressed my disappointment since I had to wait for her on multiple occasions, she got angry and defensive right away and told me her time was valuable. I'm not one to trust people with procedures regarding my face but Eva really impressed me! I first reached out while I was still a bit iffy of whether or not I should even go through with microblading. She assured me instantly that the pain would not be nearly as big of an issue once I saw the results and she was right! From start to finish, Eva made sure to make me feel as comfortable as possible and I personally loved her interior design as it was warm and inviting. She went over the process and gave me an extremely informative analysis of my face shape, style, and features. I felt like she knew my face better than I did! As for the actual procedure itself, she uses a numbing cream to make sure you feel as little as possible. She even made sure to stop in between to ensure I wasn't in pain.
