My most recent visit was the Saturday before Christmas, and even during a busy holiday weekend at the mall, I only waited about 15 minutes, which is the longest I've ever waited there and totally reasonable. The service is always fast and efficient, no matter who is working, and I'm usually in and out in no time. I've taken some time before writing this review, but I feel it's important to share my experience. During my visit to Bellevue Brow Arc, I felt uncomfortable with the behavior of an employee, Nadia. She repeatedly stared at my partner in a way that felt inappropriate and unprofessional. My partner also noticed it and mentioned feeling uneasy. This is a salon, and clients should feel respected and comfortable not concerned about boundaries being crossed. Nadia is a grown woman that should know more, Im disappointed. That experience left a very negative impression on me. I would advise others to be mindful when visiting, especially if you're coming with a partner. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. This was disappointing and not what I expected from a professional environment. I would strongly advise not letting your partner or anyone you're in a relationship with come here alone. I was extremely disappointed by the behavior I witnessed. It felt inappropriate and unprofessional, especially considering this is a place of business. What was most surprising is that this behavior is coming from someone who should know better.Instead of maintaining professionalism, it felt like the job was being used as an opportunity to flirt with male clients, which is completely unacceptable in this setting. Today I came in after work, already tired, to get my face service, facial, eyebrows, by the manager, Hojar. She did my eyebrows, unfortunately there was a strong odor that didn't smell clean, that made it difficulty for me to breathe. I do not mean to be rude, but proper handwashing with soap after using the restroom is important, hand sanitizer alone does not remove odors or germs. Because of this, I felt very disappointed. I planned to get a facial, after seeing this and I noticed she does not seem to know much about my skin type for the facial. Which is essential before preforming a facial. She did not demonstrate sufficient knowledge about skin or skincare. I felt is was necessary to leave this review. If you choose to get a facial here, please be cautious, as proper skin analysis and hygiene should be a priority. read more

I have big dark eyebrows that have taken me months to grow out. I went in to just get them cleaned up. I sat down in the chair and specifically said "please do not thin my eyebrows, I just want them to be cleaned up. I love my eyebrows to be fluffy and thick" the woman nodded her head and started doing my eyebrows. I noticed it was taking longer than usual and started to get concerned. She handed me the mirror and I tried not to cry. The woman who did my eyebrows took it upon herself to completely reshape my eyebrows and thin them out to the point that there is a bald spot on the top of my right eyebrow. It is going to take me months to correct what she did. I think if you are threading eyebrows you need to understand the trend of eyebrows now and that very thin eyebrows are no longer in style (unless someone asks for that). I would not recommend as I was very clear about what I wanted. read more

Update:- I went back and spoke with Ghazal who advised me to call the headquarters. I did call and spoke with Sonny who was super helpful. Today I went back after Sonny called me again and told me to go back so we can process my refund. I need to let everyone know that my review is about Mona only. Not the whole company or the other ladies. My daughter does uses Ghazal for eyebrows threading and never had any issues. As for my skin I did end up at urgent care to get medication for the face burning sensation as well the cuts I had on my face. Thank you to Sonny for hearing me out and acting right away on it. ..............................................................,, I am so mad as my inner voice kept telling me don't go there for some reason and I went anyway. I asked the lady (Mona) for kinda full face threading and she said let's do waxing and the eyebrows will be threaded. I told her avoid my neck and she heard it yes for the neck and before I had a chance to say anything she put the wax. She waxed my cheeks all the way to under my eyes. She was very rough and putting the wax all over even on top of my lips and my hair. She waxed spots I don't want her to wax and when I told her why are you waxing there? She replied with don't worry it's not your hair line. Anyway damage is done by then. Then she started pushing for the membership which I ended up getting but honestly I am going back today to demand they just charge me for yesterday and refund me the rest of the money even tho they should refund the whole thing for the skin burn I had from her waxing. She literally ripped my skin. I am so so upset and I don't know how I am going to be out in public like this. I am definitely avoiding going there again after I go today and demand my refund for the membership cuz I am not going there again to have my skin ripped again. What a shame!!! read more

Nafees is AMAZING!! After just the first threading i decided i was never letting anyone else touch my eyebrows lol. I have a scar in the arch of not one but BOTH of my eyebrows and have always struggled to keep them looking the same shape or even similar at all and Nafees knew exactly what to do!! She is so good at what she does and is so so nice and funny too! I just came to see her early before a trip and even though we are trying to grow them out and she was able to give me exactly what I wanted for my trip without compromising the work we've been doing. If you have ever struggled with your eyebrows you will understand why I'm literally writing a novel. People have been asking me if I got my eyebrows micro-bladed, NO ITS NAFEES!!! I visited Brow arc on this Wednesday and received threading from Ghazal. She used both thread and tweezer but not only spoiled the shape of my brows but the skin below the brows was bleeding. I had asked her clearly whether she knows threading or not and she told me confidently that she knows it well. Attached is the picture of multiple marks I am left with now. Later I visited the Salon again and Mona fixed the shape for me. I arrived at the salon and the woman was sleeping in a chair. Fully asleep. She woke up and I told her I needed my brows done and she pointed to a chair. She didn't not ask me questions or explain what she was doing. She started threading my brows and I immediately realized her hands smelled. She did not use any type of hand sanitizer and her hands smelled like poop. I was too embarrassed to say anything so I let her finish and paid. I went straight to Sephora after and used makeup remover all over my brows and eyes because I felt her hands got bacteria on me. I would expect way higher quality service in downtown Bellevue.
