We heard about this BBQ spot that had some tender ribs so here we are. The spot setup for drive thru but you can of course park and sit outside. They literally have the smoker and store food on site. The menu offers platters, sandwiches and meat by pound - a la carte plus sides. If you're not sure, ask for a sample taste and they're happy to oblige. All the staff are very hospitable. We ordered 2 meat platter: wings and ribs and 1/2 lbs of brisket with green beans, potato salad and extra side order of smoked Mac & cheese. Our order was delivered within 10 mins, hot. My mom ate the wings, which were delicious.. smoked tender with good flavor. The potato salad & GB were very good. The M&C fell short, there wasn't any flavor to it.. not even smoke flavor. I asked if I could get something different and again, I got a different side. I asked if the mashed potatoes were real or instant. I was told real. Unfortunately there too fell short and they tasted like instant potatoes. While we ate, the cook stopped over to see how it was and we let him know the BBQ was delicious and IT IS. Not only was this the worst BBQ I've ever had, it was one of the worst meals I've ever had in my life. As an LGBTQ couple visiting Tennessee, I've never felt more fearful of our safety. Most of the brisket was extremely dry and chewy and tasted like cardboard. The mac n cheese and coleslaw were fine, but you go to BBQ for the meat that should fall apart with a fork. This place is great. One of the very few remaining places where you can feed 5 adults for around $60-$80 and be full and love the food. They stay open late (at least the night we went they were open way past the 8:00 on the website). The ribs and brisket are wonderful. The smoked Mac and cheese and smoked baked beans rock. The only meat we didn't try was the chicken, so that's next. Friendly, quick service. Drive thru available but order there and eat outside undercover at the picnic tables. After you are done, go check out the 210 produce market. There are some great finds there and the only fruit available is in season and delicious. read more

The sides are okay for the most part, I enjoy the potato salad and don't mind the green beans. My partner enjoys their smoked Mac and cheese as well. The pork has become extremely salty. We used to enjoy it but it's almost inedible now. :( The bbq sauce has always been pretty good in my opinion though. I usually enjoy a potato, unfortunately the past 3 times me and my partner have went there's only been 1 potato left. This most recent time after already paying extra for a potato that was supposed to be 1 of 2 sides, they had ended up having only 1 left again. Which was inconvenient considering we both had ordered a potato. He sacrificed and got a loaded mashed potato instead. It was supposed to be a "ton" and we got a small dish of mash that turned out to be instant mash!! So my partner received then only 1 of the 2 sides that came with his $16.99 meal and an extra $8 charge for the a potato that was replaced with honest garbage. Had we been informed the mashed potato wasn't real we would have found another side. We paid $48 for 2 meals with the extra charge of the potato we weren't aware of until I looked at the charge on my phone and did the math. The prices have gone up and food quality has just gone down hill. It's not worth the cost. The produce isn't any different from what you'd get at Walmart. Strawberries used to be so fresh years ago, they're literally the same as Walmarts now. Most of the time the pickled items have no crunch to them either sadly. The rest of my party went with sandwiches and 'Tater specials' which meant plate-sized fully loaded baked potatoes with your choice of toppings + smoked Mac n cheese + BBQ meat on top!
