I ordered banana bread and a coffee. And I must say, this place deserves all the hype. The banana bread was absolutely delicious, perfectly moist and flavorfu, and paired so well with the coffee. Aunty Sandy's is a must-stop when you're doing the Road to Hana.

Wow! Warm delicious banana bread! Don't be afraid of a line it's worth the wait. The staff was so nice l. We sat at one of the tables and ate our food. Parking can be hard but just wait for a spot and one will open quickly.

We stopped here on the Road to Hana and it was in a beautiful location and came at just the right time when we were all hungry. We got a pulled pork sandwich and banana bread. Our group actually got the last piece of banana bread! We got there around 1:00pm. The sandwich was good and the banana bread was big and served warm! We enjoyed eating our food and watching the waves. FYI there are no bathrooms here so plan accordingly.

Of all the food stalls and stands to stop at on the Road to Hana, this one is the most recommended for a good reason: they do a dang good banana bread that makes you question if you'll ever have banana bread this good again! Coming here on a Tuesday morning, there was only a handful of other people parked and no line waiting to get the bread. However, it can definitely fill up and be crowded during busier times, so plan accordingly and bring your patience! There's no seating area- it's all to-go. The staff is super chill and attentive, and you get your order quickly. I got a loaf of the banana bread. For $10, given the heft and size of it, it was a great value. The bread was super moist and just perfectly sweet without being too unbearably sweet. It was warm and super soft as well. Bite after bite, you can taste the cinnamon and vanilla working their magic with the banana to give bite after bite of warm bready goodness. Be sure to eat it soon after you get it, as it will get cold pretty quickly after. Overall, this place is definitely worth the stop! The remaining Keanae Peninsula is a bonus, with breathtaking ocean views while you hang and enjoy some amazing banana bread.

Aunty Sandy's is a family-owned business near the Keanae Peninsula in Maui. It's conveniently located just off the Road to Hana near mile 18. It's near the Keanae Lookout at a small walk-up window with a few parking spots. We stopped by for their famous freshly baked banana bread ($9.55) which was warm when it came out. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was flavorful, not too sweet, and not too banana-y. We also ordered the kalua pork sandwich which looked simple but was juicy and soft. It honestly didn't look that appetizing but it actually had a decent amount of flavor. I didn't know what to expect when coming here but I was impressed and surprised by how good the food was. Maybe I was hungry after a long drive but it was a good snack. Note that they're closed on Sundays and they close at 2:30pm so ensure you get there before they close. You'll be missing out on some delicious banana bread!

Warm fresh banana bread yes. Was it anything out of this world? No. $10 for a loaf but can be Shared. Personally don't understand the hype but wished there were walnuts inside for texture. Very popular spot on the road to Hana. No place to sit tho. It was a grab and go place and seemed to be continuously busy. Other than that, beautiful vibes and atmosphere

Okay, I get the hype!! This banana bread tastes like it was just baked at home.. super fresh, warm, moist, & dense in the best way. It's nothing crazy or over-the-top, but that's what makes it special. Simple, classic, & comforting! I wouldn't say it's life-changing or anything "brand new", so don't expect too much? But it's def a perfect sweet treat while driving the Road to Hāna. Worth the stop if you're passing by! *btw no public restrooms here okay, it's just a small little bake stand!

Aunty Sandy's Banana Bread is known for exactly what it's named after: banana bread. This place was recommended by so many different sources so we had to try it when driving the road to Hana. We stopped here on a Friday morning and it was easy to find, easy to park, and the line moved quickly. It might be tough to find parking during busier times though. We ordered Sandy's Smoothie and one loaf of banana bread at the window. The smoothie was refreshing, but on the sweeter side. The banana bread was hefty. It was so moist, but not too moist to the point of being soggy. Flavor was good. It wasn't too sweet. We enjoyed the banana bread and tried to savor it through the rest of the drive to Hana. Overall, giving Aunty Sandy's Banana Bread a 5/5. Staff are friendly and patient. Service is quick. There isn't really a place to sit and eat, but the Keanae Lookout and Peninsula area is a few minutes away and a beautiful spot to hang out. Would come back again and would recommend to others.

Please come here!! This is easily one of the absolute 5 star places from all the food we tried in Maui. We were so glad they were open on a Sunday. We were even luckier that we got there right when they opened at 8:30 AM. There was already a line and a sign that they close once supplies run out, so definitely go early! Everything was freshly baked and warm, which hit perfectly on a rainy morning. Unlike other places that add nuts, this one did not need anything extra. There is just something about it. It was unbelievably moist, the banana flavor really comes through naturally, and it does not need any extra sweetness or toppings to shine. My friends and I even bought extra to take home. They also sell small snacks. We grabbed some coconut candy, and it was surprisingly good and super fun to snack on during our drive to Hana. Ambiance: simple and straightforward. It is mainly grab and go to help with the limited parking situation, which makes sense. Easy to find, friendly staff, and they accept Apple Pay, which is always a plus.

Aunty Sandy's is the famous midway point on the Road to Hana where people stop for their banana bread. As you pull up to Aunty Sandy's, there will be parking right in front. However, if it gets too busy you will have to drive down a little further. When we got there around noon, there was already a long line almost to the welcome sign. Don't worry! The line moves very quickly and the servers are very nice while taking your order and preparing your food. There were other items that you could order, such as coffee, chili dogs, and other hot items from their kitchen. Although those all sounded very good, we did not get any and just stuck with the banana bread. The banana bread was hot and tasty and the bread just melts in your mouth. You can tell that it was made fresh. Overall, we would recommend stopping to check this place out. It is definitely one of those things you don't want to miss as you embark on your Road to Hana.

YUM! Make this one of your first stops on road to hana so you don't have to worry about them selling out. The bread comes out warm and they give you a knife to cut it. The bread is pretty dense and will fill you up so it's perfect to share! We paid $10/loaf. Also, pretty unassuming but they also have the juiciest kalua pork here! Priced at $10 for a little square box, it's a bit pricey but if you're hungry definitely get it.

Another Road to Hana staple worth the drive. Specifically for their banana bread. Which did not disappoint. We arrived fairly early given recommendations we received to get here as early as possible to avoid the let down of them selling out. So we did just that. The location itself was not hard to find one bit. And once found, we realized they offer a more extensive menu than just banana bread. Although banana bread is the name of the game. And well worth the drive, they also offer smoothies, sandwiches and other snacks to keep you well fueled during your days adventure. The banana bread was fresh and home made flavored, if that's a thing. You can even ask them to take it a step further and request it warm (vet move). Aunty Sandy's was the perfect first stop on our adventure to Hana and should be yours too.

Such a perfect little snack on the drive to Hana. The banana bread was so moist and fluffy. I usually like my banana bread with nuts because I like the crunch so I personally missed that. Smoothie we got was amazing! It hit the spot. Flavor was good. Chili was good and very filling. Parking is limited but we were able to squeeze in and find a spot. The service was great. The staff was kind and fast. They moved through the line quickly.

Mouth-Watering Savories & Pies It's rare for a bakery to completely master both ends of the spectrum, but they strike an incredible balance between decadent sweetness and rich, savory comfort: The Quiche: Getting a morning slice with a perfectly flaky, buttery crust and a rich, velvety egg custard is the ultimate savory breakfast comfort. The Key Lime Pie: A masterclass in balance. Decided to pick up a few sweet items and went with the cinnamon rolls, the coffee cake and the bread pudding. The savory case was filled with house made empanadas of various proteins and vegetables, they looked amazing but figured will have to return for those since we were heading out for the day and had no way to keep them until we got back to the resort. The cinnamon roll was very good, the perfect amount of sweetness combined with cream cheese to make the ultimate icing, and it's not drenched in icing so the ratio of dough to icing was spot on. They are good sized so you could actually share it and still feel like you weren't shorted of deliciousness. The coffee cake was prepared with blueberries and had a streusel type topping, cake was light and flavorful. The bread pudding was tasty, dense and not too sweet, we tried a few bites but will enjoy it more when we get back to our resort and can warm it up a bit.
