Little bridge with lava formation on both sides. A sight to see and it's right next to the Hana Cafe.

Cute (not so) little place in Hana. The coffee cafe has everything from locally grown fruits, fresh baked goodies, sandwiches and specially curated souvenirs. The lady manning the shop is really sweet, personable and informative. She gave me a little background to how this place came to be, how local mango wood was repurposed into the tabletops right outside the door for visitors to enjoy their coffees, and she makes an amazing cup of coconut latte! When in town, definitely make the stop and enjoy your time here. It's well worth it.

The cafe supports a group of local farmers, and crafters in one location easily accessable to all. There are sandwiches, and salads in a small cup, drinks, smoothies, clothing, crafts, and root beer floats all supporting local businesses. Face masks are required for indoors. There are picnic tables in the shade, and outhouse available. The lady running the shop, and the Barista were very friendly and looked out for the comfort of the customers. She asked man with his car running roadside by the tables to move so us customers wouldn't be enhaling the exhaust. The food, and root beer float was very good. I normally don't eat eat banana nut bread, but the chocolate chip banana nut bread was delicious! My wife and stopped for a bite with driving Hana Hwy.

My new favorite stop along Hana Highway. Came for the delicious coffee, stayed for the adorable piglets and goats. My (city) kids got the thrill of a lifetime when Mike allowed them to feed the piglets bananas.

This is a hidden Gem in Hana. The drinks are great. They have farm animals. You can visit like pigs and goats. Mike is great and let the kids see the pigs . Everyone loved the dragon fruit and the drinks. The Arnold Palmer was my favorite.

Stopped here on our way to Hana. So glad to see it, too!!! I needed coffee and bathroom break after driving all those curves in the rain. The place felt super Hawaii-- very open with lush plants. They sold local food and products. They also had ample parking and WiFi. Enjoy your pit stop!

Hana Harvest was a cool stopover on our way to the end of the road. It serves as almost a halfway point where you can get on Wifi (the main priority here), grab some pizza or smoothies, and relax your tired feet from stepping on that break pedal so much. The area is very quaint and they bake their own pizza over a wood fire. While prices weren't necessarily the cheapest given you're on an extremely touristy road, it was really cool to still enjoy some Hawaiian pizza in a jungle feeling cafe environment. We certainly didn't plan well to bring food ourselves on this trip so pizza is what we got to suffice. Service here was very friendly and casual and I appreciate the staff chatting with us and recommending other spots to see on the way to Hana. Can't miss this on your way to Hana.

Compared to thirty years ago, there are now quite a few food stops on the way into Hana these days, but not all of them are good or fairly priced. Many of them are overpriced - taking advantage of hungry tourists who didn't plan well enough to bring food with them - and the food quality is just so-so. You'd be better off making sandwiches at home and eating them on the road than planning on finding great food stops on the road. However, there are exceptions to this, and this place is definitely one of them. For $7 a slice of pizza, this was very, very good! It was a large slice. I had whole baked garlic cloves, cheese, and tomatoes. The whole garlic cloves were unexpected but it was delicious. It was thin crust, fire-baked and super fresh. The staff was very friendly and the surrounding area was clean. NOTE: This was not clear to me, perhaps because our cashier was speaking a bit fast, but after you pay at the cashier you must hand over your ticket to the cook. If you don't, your pizza doesn't get made. I am used to other food establishments where your ticket is your pick up ticket, not the food ticket but their system is a bit more old-fashioned than that. I should have figured; I mean, after all, internet is hard to get on the road into Hana, so why would I expect a food truck to have a computerized kitchen system? It was the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat on the way into Hana. I would definitely eat here again. In fact, I was planning to eat there on the way OUT, but we found another great place to eat, and so woefully passed by this place, wishing we could stuff ourselves on their delicious pizza one more time.

Pizza is great. For $7 a slice that big is commendable. Drinks are seriously over priced. The affogato is tiny and is $10. Good but 10?? Citrusade has vague hints of pineapple not no lemon really. Maybe add something to make it have a punch. Will have to try the banana bread at home ($7.5 so reasonable) On the Hana highway and there's parking :) brilliant location, lots of spots for sitting. Oh and nice touch to keep sanitizer bottles everywhere!

We were so happy to see this place off the road to Hana. There isn't another spot around for several miles and it had WiFi so we were happy to check where we were on the map. We got a loaf of banana bread and some drinks, so we weren't just using their Wi-Fi and the cashier seemed irritated that we were there at all. I couldn't tell if she didn't like us or just people in general, but it seemed to us like we were putting her out. We tried to be friendly regardless, but she gave zero Fs. Banana bread was ok and the service was awful. The outside was super cute though, photos attached .

I don't recommend the overpriced mediocre drinks or food here. But, it has wifi. And, it has a bathroom. Clutch.

Bottom Line: Friendliest service on Hana Highway and strong, quality coffee. I was ready for a break when we came across this friendly roadside stand. Hana Harvest had me at the word "coffee" but they really impressed me with their genuinely friendly and upbeat greeting and conversation. My husband and I each got an Americano and the friendly barista made us single shots just to our liking. We also each got a little loaf of banana bread. He got a plain loaf and enjoyed it over several days. The chocolate chip loaf I got was disappointing so I didn't eat it. Even though the banana bread wasn't my favorite, Hana Harvest is definitely worth a stop for locals and tourists alike.

What I appreciated was the farm to table concept, since they supply many restaurants along the Kona coast, with their plump, sweet, non slimy, or gritty tomatoes. Mike and Tricia have read and gained wisdom from the professionals on how you can adjust the sweetness of the tomatoes, which I was dumbfounded and never knew that you could tweak a tomato. This is a business that involves all of the ohana and is done so with passion and a commitment towards quality. Mike and Tricia have a heart to share their knowledge and wisdom with other farmers as well, to build them up and see them become fruitful. There is a push towards bringing the community together and truly getting to know your neighbors. They have gone out of their way to share what they have with others, those who can afford it and to those who have run into hard times. I wish everyone could try their tomatoes, then you'd know what I am talking about, and draw your own conclusion, to this heavenly fruit (I still consider it a vegetable, no matter what). I live on Oahu and so anytime I visit Kona, I make sure I stop at the local open market in Kamuela to buy these. When you go look for the Wow Farm sign and their red palaka shirts, strike up a conversation and enjoy buying some of these delicate treasures. Omg, if you're on Oahu you can get these at the local farmers market on certain day's. Tuesday's and Saturday's Kapiolani Community College Wednesday's at the Neal Blaisdell open market Thursday's at the Kailua open market Sunday's at the Mililani open market This is a great way of supporting local and small businesses! Our tour guide, Brett, was fantastic--knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly passionate about organic farming and growing the most delicious fruit. The tasting experience was incredible. We sampled the most delicious papaya, mango, pomelo, mountain apples, and several other tropical fruits--many of which we had never tried before. Every bite was fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. It was not only a treat for the taste buds but also very educational. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the land and the dedication it takes to grow organic produce in harmony with nature. We also took a box of fruit with us to enjoy during the rest of our trip, which kept the experience going for days afterward. If you're headed down the Road to Hana, make sure to stop here. It's more than a tour--it's an experience. We would absolutely go again!

We got to try out papaya, bilimbi, caviar lime, pomelo, sweetsop, durian and so much more! The drive was gorgeous, as always, and Nick is a fantastic guide. We took our 9 year old, and she absolutely loved it. The tour was never tedious or boring for her, and is one of the highlights of her trip. Nick packed us up with fruit to leave with, and we shared it with friends on the beach as part of Thanksgiving. What a hit! Everyone was so amazed by the variety and quality of the fruit, even nearby beach goers stopped by to ask where we got it from. I think Ono will be on the itinerary for many people in the future after that beach outing. The tour is also great for people with limited mobility since most of it is on a golf cart. If you're on a multi-generational vacation here, this is definitely something both young, old and in the middle will enjoy. Also, a review from our child, "I like Ono farms because I got to taste each and every fruit that was in season. It's better than video games. I like the fruit they send us home with. I've been eating it all day, every day since. Thank you!"
