This review applies to both terminals 1 and 3. So far, I haven't tried terminal 2 yet.
The good: Its a nice airport, clean, well lighted, and upscale. There are plenty of places to grab a bite while waiting and people are very friendly.
Now the bad: Why are there so many employees around? There is a good number of employees simply standing around, or in a group chatting with each other. While walking around, I saw this man sitting on one of the benches playing with his celphone. That same man was still sitting at the same spot, still playing with his phone, when I walked back, 45 minutes later. Another problem is security. No, its not the lack of security but actually the unnecessary security. First, my luggage had to go thru an x-ray before I could enter the airport. Then, I went thru the normal security procedure when I went thru security on the way to the gate. The overkill part is when I had to go thru the same security check when I went to the departure gate, which is enclosed in a glass area. I normally buy myself something to drink and fill up my water bottle before I board the plane. But I had to empty my water bottle, and get rid of the juice, that I bought INSIDE the airport, before I can go wait at the departure gate. Once you're in the 'glass' enclosure by the departure gate, there is no where to fill up your water bottle, and if you need to use the restroom, you will have to get out of the enclosure, and go thru the security process again to go to the departure gate. THAT IS RIDICULOUS! I have been to so many international and domestic airports and this is the only airport that does that. That is simply an overkill, and again, proves my point that there are way tooooooo many unnecessary employees in that place. read more
