Found this place on a whim needing to get my nails done in a hurry before a wedding. They were able to take within a few minutes of walking in, which was nice bc it was a little busy. As I sat down and waited for her, I asked the girl next to me how she liked it here and she said her usual person wasn't available and was trying this guy out. I then checked yelp and was a little scared to see the rating was so low. I had even started to leave and stopped when the owner say I take you now. I showed her the design and color I wanted and she went out of her way to try to match the color perfectly. I was skeptical since I'd never gotten my nails done in acrylic dip in so long that I really wasn't sure what to expect. Let me just say she really went above and beyond to give the style and shape I wanted. She was very particular, that I didn't even have to comment. The nail tech argued with me on what "round" nails meant and when her limited skills produced a "squoval" shape, she again argued with me about the shape I wanted. She was gruff and aggressive and kept pulling my arm into the UV light until I finally had to tell her to not to pull on my arm again. She laughed. I will never go back and I will warn people about this place until the day I die. read more

While I get there are cultural differences you can always pick up when someone doesn't respect your business. It's 2021 and it's time out on patronizing a business that treats you like you don't have options. I gave this place 3 opportunities to give me just good customer service and they continued to disappoint. Specifically the older women that sits at the front. 2 of the 3 times I went she provided my "service". Apparently that was 2 times too many to provide what should have been given off the rip. service was horrible. from the way they treat their clients to the service itself. they messed my nails up so bad she kept trying to fix it to the point it hurt. she then gets mad and start to get loud. they went on to charge me 45 of the 50 they charge. it was horrible. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Everybody in there was complaining the entire time. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt being that I have been several times. First she turned the water all the way hot to the point my feet were burning when I said something about it she turned the water all the way cold . Then the whole time during my pedicure it was rushed ....... She didn't scrub the dead skin off of my foot and had an attitude during the whole pedicure. New Business owners 2023 and the lack of respect from the nail techs, I've had a tech named Peter do my nails twice since they have new owners and he doesn't even speak when spoken to..... the lack of courtesy that I've experienced here in the last month that I've been coming here I'm really not impressed. The feel of appreciation is not here, like putting on the cuticle oil at the end, they just put it on you and you go. If only I could use zero stars. Went to this nail shop and was treated with blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism. After the tech, Linda Nguyen, treated me in this disrespectful manner, another tech came to me to explain that she's ( Linda) is having a bad day. If she was having a bad day, I don't feel that she should take her stressed out on the customer and completely explode on the floor in the mist of myself and other customers. There was no manager on hand to diffuse their employees meltdown. That being said, I'll never go to this nail shop ever again and wouldn't recommend that anyone else does. read more

my nail tech attempted to steal my phone and proceeded to lie about him not taking it until I pressured him by threatening to call the cops. he magically took my phone out of the drawer after asking him if he found an iPhone. I tried this salon twice and walked out feeling uncomfortable both times. It is a really unsettling to feel disrespected or unappreciated. The younger workers seem to gossip and look down on customers negatively. Did I mention the owner is never onsite or available? This place has the WORST customer service!!!! There are so many nail salons on Atlanta that shouldn't even waste your hard earned coins to come here. The ONLY good thing about this place is that they're open on Sundays. There is this one guy who does pedicures who will leave your feet feeling and looking like heaven, but everyone else sucks. Stopped coming for a while, because of customer service and this lady leaving my nails bleeding. Came back almost a year later. They updated their decor, but did not update their work ethic. So I won't make the mistake of coming here again unless they have new management, because she is the real issue. I've really tried with this nail salon, but now I'm over them. NEVER AGAIN! Nail 21 cannot give you what you ask for without trying to nickle and dime you. It begins to feel like a really sleazy transaction. I sat down for a regular pedicure and was giving the upgrade price sheet which I politely declined. The worker asked me a total of 4 times..talk about pushy. I started to put on my shoes and just walk out but I needed my feet done. She seems upset now and I knew from then on it was going to go down hill. She rushed through my pedicure at top speed, skipping over most of my nails with the file and buffer, barely touching the surface. She knew I was unhappy, and I guess I could have spoken up more, but I decided to use Yelp as my voice no warn others. The owner doesn't care either, you can just tell. I went there today and the young lady did an excellent job on my feet. However, the woman who did my nails did a horrible job. My nails were bumpy and it took her over 2 hours just do one hand. Another nail had to fix my nails that took another 45 minutes after she cut my cuticles deep multiple times. Needles to say, I won't be returning. The only thing this place is good for is waxing eyebrows. That's about it. I'll give them that. My eyebrows always look flawless, but I'll never get anything else done by these people. I have gone to them twice for acrylic gel nails and both times they have managed to mess my long healthy nails up. Which is the reason I only ever get an acrylic overlay, because my nails are already long and healthy. WELL not anymore. Mind you I PAYED for gel nails and polish has begun to smudge and chip within days. Also my long and healthy nails are now nubs. Never again with this place get my money. I really like the nail salon . The prices are very reasonable, staff is very nice and it is very clean (very important to me) It was one person who was very pushy about getting other things done that I didn't want done but I sternly told her no and she didn't ask again.! The guy who did my pedicure was soooooo nice and worked very hard, and did an excellent job! The lady who did my eyebrows did a good job .! I think this will be my new nail spot .! read more

They can do better and stop cutting corners. People dont mind paying for good service. I do like that they use the plastic liners on the pedicure bowl. They are very pushy and push services on you. i went in for pedi and lip wax. i came out with an additional brow wax. my brows have been burnt off about 10yrs ago and do not grow back, i told her this and she said, ïts ok".no it is not ok, she waxed my minimal brows,then charged me for something that i did not auth. read more

This nail salon is terrible. The owner, I assume, sits at the first station and is very rude. She was a little rude from the beginning but I didn't want to go far since I was just getting a polish change on my toes. It took about 40 minutes just to get that service done. After I left, I dropped a kids chair on my big toe which smudged the polish so I came back to get it fixed. I went in to her since she asked what I needed. I said to her, I dropped something on my toe.... before I could finish my sentence she rudely said "you'll have to wait!" I said I know that! I was just letting you know what I needed! Like???!!!!! Terrible customer service. The first time I went there, I stood in the doorway for 6 minutes! Nobody even acknowledged my presence. The second time I went, I was overcharged for a full set, the acrylic wasn't all the way to the end of my nail (making the set not last), and they cut my cuticles up.
