Plus, the woman getting sprayed had left her stuff all over the one chair, open handbag and everything. The tan itself didn't really look like much, except on my face, which was really dark. She took the time to talk through different shapes with me -- it turns out I like the straight shape look -- and showed me how I could get there with a growth encouragement product at home. Rosana showed such incredible expertise too, drawing out the symmetrical lines I should strive for to achieve the look I wanted. I absolutely appreciated the time she took to make my appointment successful. They have good covid measures in place too right now, with a temperature check at the door, a big jug of hand sanitizer on the front desk, and masks required all around. I'd be happy to go back to see Rosana again.

Result: Severe skin damage requiring immediate medical attention, resulting in prolonged physical and professional inconvenience. During the service, I experienced clear indications of improper technique and negligent care: Excessive Heat: The applied beeswax felt excessively hot, indicating an improper temperature setting. Aggressive Removal: The removal of the wax sheet by the esthetician was noticeably aggressive and forceful. Immediate Pain & Acknowledgment: Immediately after the wax removal, I informed the esthetician, Treasure, that the areas above and between my eyebrows were extremely painful. Negligent Aftercare: I questioned whether a proper post-wax cleanser (such as rubbing alcohol) had been used. Treasure confirmed that "No" such cleanser was applied. I was only advised to use a generic ointment and Vitamin E oil. Upon returning home, the painful area above and between my eyebrows became severely red and inflamed. I subsequently confirmed that the skin in these blotches-on both sides above the brow and between the brows-had been physically lifted and removed (skin abrasion/burn). Current State of Injury: The damaged area has progressed from red to pink and is now a noticeable brown/hyperpigmented color. Permanent Damage: The injury to the skin, particularly above the left eyebrow, remains visible even after two professional consultations, indicating permanent damage and a high risk of long-term scarring. Personal and Professional Impact: I have been forced to stay indoors and rigorously avoid all sun exposure to prevent further hyperpigmentation. This has caused significant personal and professional inconvenience, including the cancellation of scheduled appointments. Initial In-Person Follow-Up: I returned to the salon to show the extent of the damage. I spoke with an employee named Emily, who confirmed the owner / manager was unavailable. Broken Financial Commitment: The business owner promised in written format to reimburse all current and future dermatology visit fees related to this injury. However, the owner failed to follow through on this commitment, and all subsequent attempts to contact them regarding payment have been ignored. This salon is the best salon around this area. I used to go to Paradise, but it was always too crowded. Unlike Paradise Nails, this salon is very relaxing and very clean and brand new. This salon was previously Galaxy Nails at Rockaway. Here, I had an amazing pedicure. They have an excellent pedicure chair including a glass tub. When they moved to Randolph it took several months (for permits, contracting, etc.) and I had refused to go anywhere else, my nails were pretty gross without a mani. I also got the dip powder manicure and that was $50. The total before tip was $85. I was planning to use this $5 off coupon when I checked into Yelp but they said they have nothing to do with Yelp and they will not honor it. That was a let down. They should talk to Yelp and take that down so it's not misleading. I gave her a nice tip because she was patient with me. Overall, she did a pretty good job. Would I visit them again? I'm not sure. They were a little pricey. I may check other nail salons in the area before going back.

Wha a shame! I've been going to Abby for the last couple of week to be told she can no longer do a…read moremani. I'm giving my nails a break for the month of May and June. So now my appts make up a mani AND pedi, however that's not enough money for them and so I got denied an appt. They won't do it. I asked "just so I'm clear, you aren't interested in my business, even tho I tip very well and have been consistent every two weeks." She said "No, we can't do it. Abby doesn't do manicures. Meanwhile she's been doing it for the last month. I give her a $20 tip as if she did gel. Here, a client isn't a client unless they are paying at least $50.00 plus. Good to know. That reason alone, I am out, never to return. They don't deserve my money.

My first time here for a mani-pedi. The place was quiet with instrumental music playing in the…read morebackground. I was seated right away once I picked the hue of polish for my toenails. I asked if they had the same color for my nails and they certainly did. I got my pedicure done first and the male nail technician did a good job. The water jets wasn't as soothing to my feet as I've experienced at other nail salons. While getting my feet done, a female technician came over to me and began to work on my gel manicure. Once my pedicure was complete, I went over to the manicure station to finish the rest of the gel manicure process. The male technician did a really good job on my nails. I liked that he put three coats of color polish on my nails. Other salons I've been to only does two coats. All was done within forty-five minutes. I was quite pleased. They will be seeing me again.
