Most painful pedi I've ever received. The man who did my pedi cut me around several of my toes. He would grimace, look and me and say "ow." Everything he did was so fast he made mistakes and made it miserable. He scrubbed my feet so hard that it was absolute torture. He twisted them very hard too. I kept asking him to be more gentle. The paint job is sloppy too. It's the day after and a lot of my toes are in pain. First let me say, I did contact them about this. I took my daughter here a few weeks ago for a manicure. She had SNS with tips. A few days later her fingers start hurting a lot and we're turning red. She couldn't even hold a pencil at school. We immediately cut off all of the nails because it was at night to see if that would help. Turns out, she had a staph infection. They said if antibiotics didn't help she would have to see a hand surgeon. I called the store and was very nice about it but was just letting them know and they got extremely defensive and said it wasn't them and she was just allergic. After telling friends about this they said they've heard the same thing about this place and they're cleaning practices. Beware. read more

Visited salon three times with my daughter and husband, not going back. I debated for a while if I should post my experiences. So here it goes. While the salon is chic, their customer service is below mediocre. Everything is very rushed, because there is always the next client waiting. But what about me..? I came in to relax, not to be part of an assembly line. The person doing my pedicure was nice, but clearly very new and had no clue on some steps, I had to tell him what/how to do. Next day had to come back and get color job fixed because it looked like 3yo did it. My manicure was also very poorly done by the owner Sam - got cuts on two different fingers while trimming cuticles. I was told they were very dry and I needed to care for them better. Well, how about soaking my fingers longer than 15sec and maybe in warm (not cold) water too. I think that would help to soften up the cuticles. My nail edges were left very sharp and uneven, I had to file them myself when I got home. My daughter got shellac pedicure and it was the sloppiest job ever. Pedicure part lasted under 10minutes - yes, she is a teenager, but if I pay full price for her, I expect her to be treated as any other client. The color was very streaky, one toe looked like it was a completely different color. She actually went somewhere else to get it fixed. If I spend that kind of money, I want to feel it was worth it. Don't really care for all the bling and wine (which I was never offered), if quality is not good. Very disappointed. :( read more

I've been going from nail salon to nail salon because I keep getting broken nails within a week or peeling nails, which shouldn't happen with the type of nails I get. I keep getting my favorite manicure here. I know it's easy to go to a nail salon, or any salon at all and complain about bad service, but that has never happened to me here, and I'm sure the multiple people that are at the salon getting their nails done all the time aren't always the ones posting a good review; because let's face it, people love to complain. At the Nail Bar I received ...poor quality of service for a manicure. The Nail Bar ambiance was great, other patrons were nice...Manager rude and not much assistance when asked to explain what I needed done to my nails to the nail tech during my service . My nails were half manicured. I asked for my cutiles to be cut well and for the polish to be redone and not just in the middle. The manager spoke to her and she told me my nails ..its good, I have other customer. The Nail Bar is a nice salon,but the service I received was mediocre and incomplete. Great customer service! I initially had my nails done but was less than satisfied with them. I called the salon and spoke w/ Sam, he was extremely pleasant and ready to help. I was greeted by Sam when I went back in and he agreed that my nails were not up to par and apologized. He had Mindy redo my entire set and it was AMAZING! They both thanked me for coming back and letting them make it right . This goes to show that they do care about their customers and doing a good job is important to them. I will be back! I've been to many terrible business establishments in my life but have never once felt moved to write a bad review until now so I'll give this salon points for that. Don't come here unless you want to leave in pain and with an infection of some sort. While the pedicure I got looked decent in the end, the woman working on my feet cut my cuticles in the most excruciating manner I have ever experienced, and I've been to more nail salons than I can count on my fingers and toes (one of which is now infected thanks to the pedicurist's incompetence). I had to clench my teeth in order to keep from letting out a cry of anguish and my cuticle on my big toe (where the real damage was done) was still bleeding for about 2 hours after leaving the salon. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so now to conclude Nail Bar's well deserved review, I leave you with a photo of whatever infection they gave me. If you want to be unable to walk for days or wear shoes and socks or any sorts I can't reccomend them enough! read more

New to the area. I gave One (1) star because I had to wait 20 minutes. They should tell you how long the wait is instead of seating you and saying someone will be right with you. Another reason I am rating them low is I was cut 3 times which caused bleeding because of over aggressive filing. The manicurist was trying to break a speed record. All she has to do is slow down. I told her she should throw the file away since there was my blood on the file. Unfortunately, I did not see her throw the file away when I was done. The shop was busy so I guess their business will continue without me. I will not be using this nail salon in the future. I had high hopes. read more

Was going to Nail Bar for acrylic nails every 3 weeks, they tuned me on to dip nails, which I then started getting every 3 weeks. I had to stop going to Nail Bar because I always had to wait a long time to be served and my nails would break the day after leaving. When you pay about $50 for a set of nail, they shouldn't break the next day or week. I feel like they rush. The place is cute after the renovation, but not worth the time or money. read more

They always accept more customers than they can handle and then keep everyone waiting - I was going here regularly and got gel manicure every time. One of the times, the owner was removing my old color and said "this is regular nailpaint". I had gotten gel manicure at this same place 2 weeks ago and was assuming it was gel that they placed since they charged me for gel but apparently the tech who worked on my hands couldn't find the shade I was asking for so she put regular paint on my nails and pretended like it was gel. Great location if you live in Circle C or environs. The bad: Overpriced. I can spend $5 less at Golden Nails and get a pedicure *with* callous removal (it costs $5 extra here, which makes the entire cost $10 above what I pay at Golden Nails). Personally, I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I'm not the type to leave bad reviews but this was the worst experience i've had in a nail salon by far. Was asked countless amounts of times what I wanted, and told the staff multiple times i needed my powder dip taken off and would like hard gel/shellac. After picking out my color and waiting for thirty minutes, which waiting is not the issue, I was questioned on why i even wanted shellac. Dead set on my color, I insisted on shellac but reluctantly gave into the staff and went with the powder dip again. Now, had to pick out a new color with foil on my fingertips (not easy at all) could not find anything to my liking. Any color I did find that I liked, they would bring me something totally different than what i had pointed to...come to find out they were not even giving me colors to choose from that were in their powdered dipped selection, i had waisted 15 minutes choosing from a different set of shellac colors again which they had given me to choose from for the "powder dip". ended up just getting my powder dip taken off, and went to another nail salon. highly disappointed and annoyed. read more

:( I generally won't leave a negative review unless I feel like people truly need to be warned. Forgot something on my burger? I'm not going to review it. Cashier didn't make me feel like gods gift? I'm not gonna review it. Receive a full set of jacked up nails and my eyebrows almost waxed completely off? Must review. Staff is very nice, but my full set is not what I asked for. When the nails were put on I told her they were too long and she told me she would file them down. She then refused to file them down after the gel was put on because she said that the shape I picked needed long nails. Nope, I have had this shape before and had nails in a length that won't gouge my eyes out. Further, she added a completely warped nail form to my full set that I asked her to remove. She said it would be fine but I'm left with a jacked up nail that looks like some sort of crazy sea creature. See photo. They then asked me if I wanted my brows waxed and initially I said no, but after checking them out in the mirror I thought I could use a cleanup. Half of my eyebrows are now gone. Heading home now to attempt to fix my nails before my trip tomorrow and stocking up on brow filler. Not the way I'd like to spend the night before traveling. read more

This was such a great find. This is in the same center as KidSpa so I can drop my children off for a little mom time and walk over to get a mani pedi. They sometimes have live music and offer great beverages and snacks to make your time there as pampering as it can be. I am little bit of a nail snob. For a year I was driving up to 2222 and 360 to get my nails done because all the nail salons I would go to would cute my fingers are cuticle to the point of bleeding. I have never had this happen at Nail Bar and they can do any design or nail art that you want. I came in the other day with a picture I found online with a marble design and they matched it perfectly. This is definitely my go to nail spot. read more
