My friend and I made appointments for pedicure. 45 minutes after our appointment time they started on my friend. Then they did mine. I'm not sure what the point is of making an appointment if you aren't seen in a timely manner. To make it worse, there were children running around the salon the entire time we were there. This was the worst service I've ever received at a nail salon. Ethan did my nails and he was terrible. When I walked in he wrapped my nails in foil and left me sitting there for an hour. When he finally got to me he ordered pizza while he was doing my nails and got up 7 or 8 times to go do other things. He then got up to EAT pizza in the middle doing my nails and tried to offer me a slice. It was completely ridiculous and I do not suggest ANYONE come to this location unless you want to spend 3 hours of your day here. Horrible!!! Edit in response to OWNER: Are you kidding me? I was told that they "couldn't guarantee" our time which should have been my first indication that this was a sub par business but I gave it a try. We showed up at our requested time the next day and were not even greater when we walked through the door. 10 minutes passed and still no acknowledgement until I asked when they could do the girls nails. Poor customer service. This place is about the volume, not quality. Earlier today, I made an appointment for a pedicure for my boyfriend and I. I called 2 hours in advance to make sure we would be seen at 4. I said there would be the two of us. When we walked in, I noticed there was only one tech available. So we sat down by the entrance patiently waiting for the other tech to be ready too. At some point, the first tech came out and pointed at the chair for me to sit. My boyfriend was sat next to me. I saw that the other tech was still working with another client. I asked her, "what about my boyfriend?" She said that the other tech was almost finished and would be right with him. Long story short, she finished with me while my man was still sitting next to me unattended. She just turned on the water for him 5 minutes before she finished my pedicure. He was sitting all that time with his jeans rolled up, waiting. For about 45 minutes... The whole point of having a couples' pedicure is to do it TOGETHER! When we realized that he wasn't getting service any time soon, he just got his feet out of the bowl and dried himself. The tech didn't even bother to ask or offer any kind of resolution. This is not how you do business. I don't know if my tech was the owner or not but I certainly hope she wasn't because otherwise it goes to show how much the owner of this place cares about their clients. I made sure to tell her we needed a pedicure for two and she just didn't care. She saw that the other tech just started with another client, she just chose not to care. I stopped coming over a year ago for this same reason and I see nothing has changed. She, then wanted to argue with me because I didn't like what I received. Bellevue has lots of options for nails, but Nailvana is currently my go to. I get the dip manicure about once a month and they have a great selection of colors. The salon is always nice and clean and they tend to have Marvel movies up on the tv, as opposed to the usual home improvement network which get s big thumbs up from me! I've had my nails done by Ethan, Nikki and Nina and they've all done a great job on my short nails. My manicures have lasted about 3-4 weeks each time. Their price point is actually more reasonable than many of the other places in the area and they have a great assortment of services. I have yet to get a pedicure here, though I've seen them advertising a jelly pedicure which I am very much looking forward to trying in the near future. If you are in the area and looking to get your nails done, I would definitely recommend stopping in to see them. read more

I came here drawn in by a 'Vegas style, byob' nail salon. This nail spot was very regular. Nothing about it wowed me. I came in to get my nails painted and honestly they did a pretty awful job. The paint was streaky and even though he filed my nails, there was a chip in my nail that he left. Another thing I didn't like was the manager of the place was sitting next to me getting a pedicure. He was directing the girl in what he wanted. It was very unprofessional. It seemed like he was training her, but I think that should have happened when there are no costumers in there. I started going to Ethan over a year ago. He suggested I make his nail bar my new nail bar. I went there for pedicures and powder dips. I was very happy with Ethan and was going along fine with him doing my powder dips. Then, a new employee by the name of Lu came on board. Lo and behold, the next thing I knew he was my new manicurist. He started off fairly well. He forgot to put top coat on my left toenails on one visit, causing the pedicure on that foot to not hold up well. The last visit he was all over the place with my powder dip. He would forget and skip over a finger every now and then. He was frustrated when I would call this to his attention. He left off one coat on my powder dip. The pedicure was great and the woman who did it was excellent and personable. However, Danny who did my nails ruined my experience. The moment I came to his station I was given a look and not even a hello. I asked him twice that I would like my nails short. On the 2nd time I asked his response was he knows. After the dip was done I asked again for them to be shorter since his last response to me was he knows and he used a file (which was fine). I asked that my left hand nails were made shorter like that right and he uses a nail clipper with 5 layers of dip on it! This was truely to be spiteful. He then asked if this was my first time getting my nails down. No, I've been getting my nails done for 20 years but this is hands down my worst experience. Please check out the awesome job I was left with. I am currently at the beauty store to try and figure out what I need to clean up this mess. My sister and I were so in need of relaxation and pedicure. Called Nailvana and they could take us both as soon as we could arrive. We got set up right way and were enjoying massage chair and wine in no time. The woman taking care of my sister was friendly and engaging. However the gentleman taking care of me Thanh, was didn't respond when i ask how he was doing I realized quickly that this was because he was on his phone with Bluetooth earbuds in. He walked away several times during my pedicure and at on point fussed at me for splashing some water! As my feet were sitting in paraffin, he left for a long time. My sister was almost done with her pedi. Another employee went outside and found my guy and they came in arguing and continued to argue for several minutes while each were working on their customers feet!! My pedicure which was supposed to be relaxing ended abruptly with quick polish and he was gone. Another employee checked us out and the was no apology for the unprofessional behavior. I realized I didn't get top coat done when I looked at my toes and polish was rubbing off some toes and dull finish on others. Horrible experience for me that cost me $40! When I first went here I wasn't super impressed with it. Everything was just OK inside and there was a nail tech bothering the person doing my nails about some form she had to fill out. It was really annoying to me and it was clearly distracting the person working on my nails. BUT my nails ended up turning out really great..shape was right, the length was right, and the dip wasn't too thick. So I decided to go back, well this time I got a lady (the first time was a guy) and my experience wasn't great. The girl was friendly enough but my nails look terrible. I thought I had found a decent nail salon and have had pretty good results for a while. Unfortunately, I had the same tech for the 2nd time. He is nice & my nails look ok. However, he is rough in his technique & the manicures were painful- - I bled both times. After cutting my finger from bottom to top & after I pointed it out several times, he kept scraping the same area he had cut. I probably will not go back. My finger is throbbing tonight. I wish I could give it a 0. I have been here to get a pedicure twice. The first time, I had a nice pedicure, but there was a violent movie playing very loudly on the big screen TV. No one would turn it down. Today, when I went to get a pedicure, the nail tech scrubbed the inside of my foot so hard, it left me with a large bleeding scratch on my foot. I have been getting pedicures for 20 years, and I have never had that happen. Not only was I in pain, the tech and the owner proceeded to blame me and tell me it was there before he started my pedicure. Im glad I only paid $30 for that wack a*s pedicure. I would have paid more had they even offered me a up service. Feet was in plain, luke warm water, no nothing added to it. Toe nails were not cut evenly. And didn't even scrub my feet or legs but put a warm towel over my legs. I have never in my life had such a bad pedicure. This was my first time coming here and I had a pretty good experience. The staff was friendly and I really liked how they pulled sterilized tools out before beginning my pedicure. The pedicure chairs were also very nice and easy for my short self to fit into. My fill was done well but I've definitely had better. I think the place is a little more expensive than most. If cost $40 for a fill with gel polish and $30 for a basic pedicure. My only complaint is that they had the TV on the news and literally all it was talking about was politics, immigration, and sad stories. Apparently they charge $25 extra for gel. I always get gel everywhere else and never experience such an unexpected increase. There is nothing special about this place; typical nail salon. No extra massage, nothing fancy - yet the most expensive pedicure I've had in three years in Nashville. Well I did not go to get my nails done, I went with my mother and her friend. They are very sweet as soon as we walked in they greeted us and asked if we wanted anything to drink. My mother ask for a dipped color that was difficult for some reason, but Ethan let her know ahead of time, and he did it in the most nicest way possible.
