This is one of my favorite nail spots in the Nashville area. The people are so kind, and the clientele are all so laid back and friendly as well. The ambiance always feels welcoming and low-key unlike several other nail locations I've been to elsewhere. There's no ego here, and everyone is welcome. I got a French pedicure with a hibiscus scrub, and the staff who did my nails was so considerate and meticulous. She asked me if the shape was alright several times while painting and even took the time to ensure my clothes were out of the way as my feet soaked. They have lovely massage chairs and TVs positioned everywhere if you prefer to zone out as they work on your nails. The pedicure was one of the best prices I've heard in the area, less than $85 even with the upgrade of the scrub and French tips. The nails have also lasted such a long time since they are gel applied correctly, and I've felt so presentable whenever wearing any type of open toe sandal. There's a giant shared private parking lot since it's next to Starbucks and Kroger. Love it! read more

I have had good experiences at this place before, so today's bad experience threw me off a bit. But I'll give 2 stars as an average. Had a 4:30pm appointment for a pedicure. I walked in a couple minutes before my appointment time and held the door for another lady to come in behind me. We both had 4:30pm pedicures. The owner told us to pick our nail polish colors and have a seat. About 1-2 minutes later, a family walks in for 2 pedicures. I thought I heard them say they had a 3:30pm appointment, in which case they would have been an hour late. But I could be mistaken, so I'll assume they had the same appointment time as me. I noticed everyone in the place was busy and figured they might have overbooked slightly, but since I knew I was one of the first to be waiting, I figured it wouldn't be long. I went and put my things down in the seat next to the lady I walked in with and went to the bathroom. When I came back, they were just starting her pedicure and put a sanitary bag in the foot soaker for me. She didn't turn the water on, I'm assuming so it wouldn't get cold while I was waiting, so I sat with my feet up under me and started reading my book. A moment later, the family sat down for their pedicures. Less than 5 minutes later, a nail tech finished with her client, went and got the family menus and started setting them up with sanitary bags and water. Considering I was the first person to walk in and say I had a pedicure appointment, this rubbed me the wrong way and made me start to pay more attention. So I put my book away and looked around, waiting for someone to let me know they would be right with me. 5-10 minutes later, the man who spoke to us when we walked in saw me looking around and came to fill up my water. He checked on a pedicure that was nearest to be finished and said something to the tech. He then told me she would be about 7 minutes. About 10 minutes later, she is finishing up and another person comes up to give me a menu (finally) and ask me what type of pedicure I want. She goes and sets up the station for me, but I don't think she does pedicures, so I'm waiting on the other lady still. The lady who was supposedly coming to me next then cleans up and goes to the back room to start someone's eyebrows. At this point, I've been sitting there for a little over half an hour and though the lady next to me was nearly done, I had about enough. I have no problem waiting if they accidentally overbooked or whatever. My issue was that I was skipped over more than once and the only people who tried to check on me couldn't actually do anything about it. Not to mention that there were no apologies for the wait until I asked for a towel to dry my feet and leave. If you need me to wait, I will. However, if it's not a first come first served basis for people with the same appointment slot, that needs to be explained. Otherwise, I'm left to assume it was intentional. Unimpressed. Came in and got a pedi acure and manicure. The pedicure was nice. I got the deluxe. I liked that I could pick a smell. The person didn't talk to me but that's ok. Wished the massage portion was longer. The manicure someone else did. They also didn't talk to me. Ok. I sat and waited for them to start that for 10 minutes. Ok not a huge deal. I will admit my nails are hard to deal with. They are short. But I don't think they did a good job. I did the dip and you can see where it doesn't cover the whole nail. Also how he shaped my nails are uneven and ugly. The upside the massage portion was really good. He didn't even ask he just did. All after tip it was like $135 for simple stuff. I have been visiting this salon for about three years. I have had many great, positive experiences that has kept me coming back. A dip manicure is my favorite and my go-to! They have great color choices (OPI Let's Be Friends is my personal favorite). Everyone is very nice and all of the techs are very professional and seem to care a great deal about the quality of service. My nails are always shaped to perfection and my dip lasts a very long time. It is nice that they take walk ins and can usually get you in very quickly. One time, I had an issue with my service (that has only happened once) and I came back within a couple days and they replaced my nails for free. read more

I have been going to CN nails for a few months, but I have decided to stop going for 2 main reasons: 1) Price Gauging: be prepared to spend 10-20 dollars more than you were told. They will nickel and dime you, and not tell you something was "extra" until after they have done it. For example, I received a full set, but I was charged an extra 15 dollars for the removal of my old acrylics and a mysterious "shaping" service. All this was on top of the $60 base price. 2) Employee attitudes: I really care about how my nails turn out since I am dropping quite a bit of money for them, thus I often vocalize when I want something changed/fixed. However, when I do this, the nails techs always argue with me and try to convince me the thing I dislike is "fine" or "just the way it is". Even if they do agree to make an adjustment, they act as though it is such an inconvenience. But here's the thing: I am the customer, and they are my nails!! My friend had to ask her nail teach to physically hand her the file so she could make her nails look how she wanted. They also have attempted to argue with my friend and I about the price of our service. All that to say, the only way to get nails you are satisfied with requires you to put your foot down and subject yourself to attitude - both of which I am tired of doing. read more

I've been here one other time, so I didn't mind driving since the manicure was decent. This time, someone has started on me and someone else finished with the painting. The manicure was great until they switched and he painted. Would not recommend. I would rather stay in germantown and pay $100 than deal with a bad manicure. I would have been better if I had painted them myself with my left hand. He didn't bother to file on the sides after painting so it looks chunky and uneven. My thumb didn't take with the gel so it's smudged. And my other hand.... Paint isn't even to the cuticle! read more

What a waste of money. I didn't get the name of the person who did my nails, but her chair was closest to the door. She filed my nails crooked. I had to make her fix it. She was so distracted with the door, other customers, her conversation with a coworker and everything else in to room that she barely paid attention to what she was doing. She cut my cuticles and kept grabbing and yanking with the little tool. It's sharp. No yanking is required. Several fingers are now sore. One bled. Then she polished them with polish that was so thick that they were never going to dry. It's more than three hours since my nails were done and they are still not close to dry. They have no drying machines. You just sit there and wait. Of course, my nails were ruined before I got home. I'm sorry I didn't catch it, but I don't get my nails done often so I'm not savvy. This has become my new go to place for manicures but my last visit was not great. I asked for a French dip with blue. The base was dip but the line across was done with gel polish. I have never had that done before. It's usually both done with dip powders. The lines are not evenly shaped (I know that can be tricky but he went over to correct the lines with acetone, which i feel could damage the product already on..My cuticles were not cut, I asked for round shape and was given an almond shape, the gel polish color does not cover my entire nails, and unfortunately wasn't given any oil at the end. During my manicure, the nail tech was the main one answering the phones so he was constantly having to get up and pause what he was doing. I have loved this place as my new spot but I left unhappy after my most recent visit. read more

I normally love this place. It has been my go to in Bellevue for a long time. But this last visit was the worst experience I've had. I made an appointment for my mom and I to get pedicures for her birthday. We show up at 9:55 am for our 10 am appointment. When we walk in, I immediately notice 4-5 other patrons sitting in the pedicure chairs waiting for service. When I tell them we have an appointment, they said it was going to be a while because someone didn't show up to work today and they were behind. Things happen, I understand. A heads up would have been nice, as we had other plans afterwards that were delayed. We're asked to go sit in the back two pedicure chairs. Where we go...and sit...and wait. Not even able to start soaking our feet. 40 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, our pedicures finally get started. Looking back, I wish I would have just left when we got there. The pedicure I had was abysmal. None of my cuticles were trimmed. He cut my toenails to "make them even", then hastily filed them down, leaving my big toe on my right foot noticeably crooked. The entire pedicure was rushed. The toenail polish was streaky. The entire situation was a disaster. read more

I believe I have finally found that place. Kelly did my nails and she went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Call me a "Karen" or whatever but I have come to the point where I will ask for a nail to be fixed if necessary. My favorite nail spot. The technicians are efficient, kind, and wonderfully professional. I typically get a Dip manicure- 45$. My nails last about a month and they have a huge selection of colors- OPI as well. They play Netflix on the TV with subtitles and plenty of options for drinks. It pains me to give them a low rating, because everyone that works there is very nice. I've been going to C-N Nails (more off than on) since I moved to Nashville in March. Up until a month ago, I had no issues with my nails (dip powder) - they always lasted longer than 2-3 weeks. But in the last month, after each appointment (every two weeks) I have had to go back and fix at least half of my nails each time (top coat peeled off, chipped/broken nails after a day or two, the nail tech's thumb prints on my bails). As if today - 11/19/19 - I have already had to go back 5 times to fix issues with my nails. And tonight, another nail's dip polish cracked. I don't have the time to keep going back to fix these issues! And to add insult to injury, when I was speaking with one of the nail techs I've used in the past, her response was "good luck". Good place for pedicures! My toes came out great, although the bottom of my feet aren't as smooth I had hoped. I got the C-N foot spa for $35, which was definitely worth it for the massage and hot towel. My regular acrylic nails came out very cute as well. I was a little unsure about pricing since they're not posted on the wall. Thought they'd be $30, but they came out costing $45. A little more than anticipated. Ever since I've lived in Bellevue I've never bothered going anywhere else to get my nails done since I'm always happy with the results at C-N Nails (if it ain't broke don't fix it!) Located in the shopping center with Kroger, this nail salon is small but the wait is never too long even though it's usually busy. They do have many chairs for pedicures but usually it's the front tables for manicures that get full. The staff are all experienced and I've never had a problem with anyone messing up or doing a bad job. I most often go here for a gel manicure but I've also gotten a pedicure a few times. They take their time on the massage and use nice lotion. They don't rush but also are efficient with the time. They also always offer a short shoulder massage (I look forward to this so much) with a manicure which is a really nice touch. The staff are also very friendly and nice. I usually see the same manicurists when I go who smile and assist me right away when I walk in. I do recommend this salon as the prices are reasonable, it's fine to go without a reservation, they are nice and friendly and they do a good job. read more

I went to the salon today to get some much needed pampering with my mother. We both got the basic pedicure. I also got a full acrylic set with gel and she opted to go with the gel manicure. I came in with a specific vision in mind and photo. I have a horrible habit of picking my nails and was worried if they would be able to work with what little nail I have. We were seated quickly especially for a Sunday. I showed her the picture of what I wanted and she picked out the perfect colors. My tiny toes were cleaned up and painted beautifully. She then worked on my hands. She was super gentle and was actually the first person to ever ask me how I wanted them shaped rather than just making them square. I am super happy and I feel like they are classy, neutral, and elegant. I would recommend this place a thousand times over. They acknowledge everyone who walks in the door. If they are super busy rather than having you wait forever they will suggest a better time frame for you to come back. I felt pampered and beautiful. My mother noted how amazing everything smelt from the lotion to the towels. The basic pedi also has a hot stone massage. I hope everyone has an experience as great as what I had. The reviews were great so we thought we'd try them out. We arrived and they rushed us to pick a color. Alright. That's fine. But then they started removing our previous dip powder with the drill and it got so hot that it burned. I pulled back several times and vocalized that is hurt the lady then pulled my hand back and told me to be still, sorry. Um no? How do you expect me to sit still when you're hurting me? I don't recommend going here at all. They're rude, they don't even hide that they're making jokes about you, and they're just not professional. read more

After my last experience at the last nail salon I went go in Nashville , I was hesitant to go again. I was in desperate need of a fill and drove by while running errands. They took me immediately as a wall in and from the moment I walked through the door to when I left I felt so comfortable. Every single employee working , and the owners, were so kind and welcoming. Just went in for a quick regular mani at 4:30pm on Monday. There were only 3 customers total and I was taken right away. The decor is nice and I do like the nail bar right at the entrance. A regular mani was a little pricier than I had expected - $17. I considered a dip powder mani, they said it was $40. I should have gone with the powder but maybe next time!
