Had a good experience with my nails previously but... recently they posted a social media post of a woman who left after getting her gel-x removed. I was a bit shocked too see that they were recording in store and using the recordings to blast this woman on a social media platform. After commenting my concerns I was immediately blocked this seems very suspicious to me. I would not go here knowing that they are illegally recording you without your consent and potentially using the recording with ill intent. read more

My mom and I have come here several times - yesterday being the last time. They have done several things I won't tolerate as a customer, yesterday was the final straw. After completing our fingers, Jenny informed me that Lucky (other acrylic tech here) refuses my Mom's service moving forward. She said next time, she will have to do both our nails and we take turns / wait. I asked why, what happened, what did we do? Jenny said "Lucky won't do old lady nails and is uncomfortable from old lady". Sorry, what?!?! My mom is 65 years old and a paying / tipping customer. Are you fuc*ing kidding me?! We were totally polite and to ourselves the entire time, made no special requests, were flexible. I have no idea why it is appropriate to turn a client away based on AGE? In addition to this, they: * Make appointments and leave you waiting while they take walk-in's * Promise to do fingers & toes at the same time and never do - trapping me here for 2-3 hours (ridiculous for basic mani / pedi) * Price changes every time - no transparency or explanation * Lucky has cut me & my mom multiple times (blamed new file, doesn't clean up blood or even seem to care - in fact, acts angry / inconvenienced that she cut us and made us bleed) * Obviously talk sh*t about you in their language and giggle / point at you as if I have no social awareness * Only offer beverages to the customers they apparently like * No AC - pointing fans only on themselves (even on 100 degree days) * Talk poorly about other local nail salons / techs - always dramatic Feels to me like Lucky and Jenny run Nail Bar now and have quite the attitude / ego. I'd rather spend my money anywhere else! We spend $200 here every two weeks = $400 a month plus tip. In a year that's about $5000+ you just lost by being nasty. Good luck in business ladies - word of advice, don't bite the hand that feeds you. read more

This salon charges too much and is too aggressive with their cuticle cutting. A basic gel manicure is already higher than what I've paid at other places, and then they charge an extra $3 for removal. I've never been to a place where this isn't included in the price. I wouldn't mind paying more if the service was excellent, but I woke up this morning with sore red cuticles and a cut on one finger. The lady who did my nails was very aggressive with my cuticles and pushed them back really hard. My daughter has cuts on her cuticles too and a scab where they cut her on her thumb. They told me it was because her nails had a lot of cuticles and her skin was dry, but they should know better. Taking less off or just being gentle is better than having ugly sores. I hope the ladies read this and are more gentle with their customers in the future. read more

Lucky is the best nail tech I have ever been to! I have followed her to every salon she has moved to, I can't live without her! My nails come out perfect every single time and they are amazing at designs. I can't recommend her and Jenny enough. They are some of the nicest people I've met and are always fairly priced. Make sure you book with them in advance because they are always in high demand! I don't usually leave reviews, but the service I received was so bad, I felt compelled to do so. I went in asking for a fill, shared a picture, and was told by the nail tech she could accommodate what I asked for. I did not receive anything close, nor did she seem to care that my nails looked terrible. I spent $65 and will have to go get the redone this weekend because it looks like a 5 year old did my nails. Although it was a nice facility, the skill set did not match the atmosphere. So dissatisfied and disappointed. Will not be coming here again. read more

Just paid $38 for Full set. I am sure the guy who did my nails never went to beauty school because he glued all of the fake nails to my skin and did not care when I asked him to fix it. Just said "the glue will come off when you wash your hands". I told them it has been a while since I had my nails done but they gave me a hard time when I asked about the different options for color. I was super cordial and just figured I'd give them a pass bc it was pretty late when I tried to do a walk in (3pmish)... I kept having to stop the guy and have him redo things because the sloppiness was out of control. My nails were trimmed crooked I asked for rounded tips he gave me a square with rounded edges for nails for different lengths... It was just one thing after another!! I work with special ed children so I don't have all the energy and patience to have to re-prompt an adult who just doesn't give a $hit.. I calmly use my words and communicated exactly what I wanted him to do.. so it's pretty hard to find a sympathetic loophole on this one. My experience here was a total bummer bc I rarely can afford to get my nails done bc I'm on a super tight budget... I took a picture of my nails at the end even though I wish I would have taken pictures of the mangled crooked mess that was my nails along the way... The icing on the cake is at the end when the guy told me I had5 minutes to let my nails dry but after that Id have to hit the road (!!!). I was extremely confused by this bc they weren't closing, there was only 1 other customer in the place, w/ zero ppl waiting in the lobby. I asked if they had fans (so I wouldn't ruin them!!) my manicurist looked away + laughed at me, saying snobbilyand "no one does regular polish anymore so no salons have fans"(!!!) I can't recommend this place and quite frankly I feel stupid for having paid the full price (plus $5 tip) for services rendered. I weighed my options + decided it just wouldn't be worth it to walk when all this was intended to be a nice,relaxing treat to myself. read more

She paid close attention to detail and made sure i was happy with my nails and I love them! They were no nice through out the process they offered me a drink and asked about me. Also these are my real nails and when I told her I had cracked one she said we could use dipp so the nail wouldn't break. Which made me happy because I was so sure they would just paint over the crack and move on. I'm from oceanside and I am 100% going back to get my nails done here again. I would give 0 stars if I could! DO NOT GET YOUR NAIL SERVICES AT THIS PLACE!! The pedicure was just ok. Usually, you get at least a 2-4 minute massage but not at this place. Maybe got 30 seconds on each leg, nevermind the foot massage. The gel polish was crooked and uneven. Thick in some areas thin in others. I also got a fill. The acrylic was completely uneven. And the gel.polish looked like my 7 year old did it. She even put the liquid she used for the acrylic back in it's bottle after it was used. Who knows how many times they do that. Disgusting!! The total was $86 and when i complained I was offered a $10 discount! Now I have to go somewhere else to have the nails removed and redone. The first time I went to this place was to get a full set and I had a good experience. However yesterday I left feeling so nickel and dimed about my services. One technician said it was $3 for pedicure gel removal. When I went to pay it was now $5, because I didn't get gel again even though the difference of a gel and non gel pedicure was over $10 and would've been charged removal even if I had gotten gel again. When I went to pay in card and tip in cash there was an extra 4% charge on top of the $98 for a regular pedicure and fill. I left feeling so gross, that the technician wasn't even nice to begin with and then there's all of these hidden fees. I won't be back. read more

The nail polish looks uneven in the light and the edges are messy. I had to go home and wash away the gel polish left on my skin.
